This is the big buffet restaurant in the Hard Rock Casino. The food spread had a lot of variety, and it all looked quite good. I didn't have anything though except a couple of scoops of delectable gelato. I really enjoyed it going down, but afterwards my stomach was going "uuuugh, you shouldn't have done that". My brother-in-law had a plate of their salmon, an oyster, and some veggies, and was quite satisfied with it. I think it was a $39.90 pp charge though and my BIL used his reward points. So I'll leave this as a 3 star review since it sounds like it's high casino pricing here and I really don't think the value is great unless you show up reaaaaal hungrrryyyy. read more

Solid 3 star establishment. The buffet is an all you can eat but must be ordered through your server. We opted for the crab boil too, because, why not? The food was all pretty regular and fine. This is not a place I'd seek out if not at the casino, but when you're here, the selection is definitely worth entertaining. read more

We have never been to a casino before so we learned a lot yesterday. The food was good enough. On the complaint side, however: 1. They allow smoking inside the casino and the plentiful smoke permeates the entire building and the restaurant. Not very pleasant for us non-smokers, at least in the my opinion. 2. There was a semi-long , 15 minute line when we arrived at the restaurant and a separate line for "club members". Having a reservation didn't seem to make a difference because you are going go wait in the line until it's your turn to pay and be seated before you can even talk to a hostess. Not a great situation when you want leave the restaurant by a specific time in order to see a show. 3. I had read reviews about the crab legs but there weren't any last night (Saturday). Food was good for the most part. Loved the ribeye, but stew was so-so. Chicken noodle soup was great . Server was on top of things, kept our glasses full and was quick on clearing plates. On the negative side, this casino is a smoking venue, and the smell of smoke is always around you. This restaurant also has no booths, which I thought was unusual (I prefer booths). The food is great. Anthony at the meat station is the best. He remembered us after two months only having seen us once. He even remembered how we like our steak cooked and prepared. Decided to start checking out what this casino has to offer. This IS a buffet restaurant, HOWEVER you let your server know what you what and they bring it to you. At this time, the cost is $29.95 per prison, not including drinks or the Snow Crab boil (additional $15.00 per pound), for all you can eat! Some added disappointments: No butter for the rolls No other dressing for the salad other than the lemon vinaigrette. The cheddar biscuits were really dense with a garlic flavor that was a little too heavy. These would be great if they were airy and light. The brown gravy on the mashed potatoes tasted like jar gravy. The fried rice... not sure where to start with that. Just don't! In the plus side: The Fettucino Alfredo is very creamy and seasoned well. The noodles were cooked perfectly. The baked pasta was made with ricotta cheese. There isn't a strong flavor, which ricotta usually doesn't have, however it was very creamy. Fried catfish and hush puppies (hubby had) was very good. Desserts: Cheesecake bites, light & creamy topped with seasonal fruit. Mini eclair had a few specks of gold leaf (nice touch). The chocolate atop the eclair was rich, which balanced the center and pastry shell nicely. They have Fench vanilla gelato. How can you go wrong? Get some to offset the other desserts, especially the ones with chocolate. I also tried the creme brulee cupcake. This also was topped with fruit. It tasted good HOWEVER it fell short on some of the attempts to make this great. They topping appeared to be toasted, comparable to the toasting of sugar on the top of creme brulee. Since they added the fruit, this stepped was over looked when eating it. Also, there was a very small amount of a center. I say, commit or omit. The winner was the strawberry shortcake. This was created in a square, see thru little bowl. Doing this allowed you to appreciate the layers and detailed that went into this creation. The strawberries was sliced small allowing for a hassle-free piece in each tiny spoonful. The sponge was light. They even topped this with crunching strawberry pieces. Overall, this would not be my first choice, as is. Perhaps with some improvements. read more

We ate at the Fresh Harvest Buffet on 11/19/22. The seating and the look of the restaurant is very nice and comfy. We hadn't been there for a while. The last time we ate there, the waitress gave you a menu to select from, and they brought you your food. It is now a full service buffet. I must admit, when you walk in, the smell of food is present, and gives off the impression of deliciousness. Unfortunately, that is not the case. I did not know how much the buffet was, because I was treated by my daughter, who LOVES the cornbread muffins. But for $36, I rounded up, it is not worth it in my opinion. The items that I had were as follows: beef and broccoli, honey chicken, fried rice, plantains, chicken enchiladas, egg rolls, stuffed bread with cheese, cornbread muffins, carrot cake, fried chicken, and sorbet ice cream. I don't know where to start. In all honesty, the food was bland, not seasoned well at all. The honey chicken was just that, chicken with honey on it. The egg rolls were vegetable, and the vegetables were mushy, no flavor. The chicken was bland, no flavor at all, although fried well with a nice crust. The plantains were decent, but the cut was too thick, and could have had a better crust on it. The beef and broccoli was ok, but the meat lacked flavor. I placed it over the fried rice, which increased the taste. The cornbread muffins, delicious, still very good. The carrot cake was delicious as well, but the other desserts were lack luster. Loved the sorbet ice cream, strawberry in particular. The bread was good, but they could have left the cheese out of it. The service was nice, we had a pleasant and friendly waitress. It's really ok to be concerned with over seasoning the food, because a lot of people have health issues, but most of the time, if someone comes to the restaurant, they are looking for a good and tasty meal. They're aware of the risks that come with the meals that they take in, and for the amount of money that is charged for the meal, I am more than positive there are many people that feel the same. Hopefully, they'll improve on the flavor of the food, because right now, all that they have is presentation. read more
