However, I found the price per piece a bit high. Bread is about 3-4 inches long and $.90 per piece with no discount even if bought in bulk. Because it is baked when ordered and present at the store, it is not an in and out place. I've been wanting to try this place for months now and i'm so sad it didn't live up to my expectations I am a big fan of Starbread but all of their locations are too far from me -- this shop was close by and I was hoping their senorita bread would be comparable to Starbread but unfortunately it's not I went about 1.5 hours before closing and picked up 25 pieces for $22.50 -- as you can see in the picture, my box of bread had a pool of butter or oil at the bottom. Because of this, a majority of my pieces were soggy / oily and the box was dripping all over my car seat And while I appreciate how soft the bread was, there was a lack of consistency in the taste -- some pieces didn't taste sweet at all and some were too sweet I'm unsure if I just got a bad batch or came on an off day but just hope this review can provide some helpful feedback. I'm willing to try this spot again though and hope I get a better batch next time read more

I used to go to star bread in Tracy or sac whenever I was in the areas working, so finding out we have señorita bread in Stockton was a happy surprise. It's the same extra soft, warm, sweet and buttery bread that used to take me 1.5 hours round trip to get before.
