    Sag Paneer

Really good, authentic Indian food. Samosas were well balanced with excellent, flaky crust. The Sag Paneer was delightful too. Very buttery, but solidly flavored and cheese-filled. The Naan was excellent, but it was a bit small. Definitely recommend. Will go back.

Solid Indian restaurant for Morgantown. Very friendly and prompt service. Seems to be a popular lunch spot. Decent amount of seating inside. All of our food was great. Reasonably priced. Chicken dum biryani was pretty good, definitely a reliable dish. Dosa was great. Definitely plan to go back again/order takeout in the future. I would say give it a shot for your favorite Indian dish.

This was my first is it since before covid and my husband's first ever visit. The staff were extremely polite and offered suggestions throughout our meal. Everything was delicious! The Bollywood music playing on the television made the environment serene. There was plenty of space between us and other customers, and we enjoyed the privacy.

We were driving near Morgantown, and looking for a place for dinner, when out of the blue, we saw a sign on the side of the road that listed the Fresh Mint, High Street, Morgantown, so I fired up the Yelp App., saw that they had great reviews, so we set our GPS to find this place. It is located near West Virginia University, and is located in a little shopping center with its own parking lot. We were pleased to see that the menu listed items that were Gluten-Free. My wife and I split a Mango Lassi, Aloo Gobi (Potatoes and Cauliflower), and a Malai Kofta (Veggie and Cheese Balls in a creamy sauce). We ordered both dishes mild, and that is exactly how they arrived. Service was good, and the food arrived fairly quickly. We enjoyed both dishes and the drink, and the gentleman that took our order must have overheard that it was our anniversary, and he brought out a small complimentary dessert. That was very nice of him . . . Cheers!!

Masala Dosa, Lamb Kurma, and Kashmiri Chicken were all incredible. Service here remains top-notch! We love coming to Fresh Mint!

This was a delicious surprise in Morgantown! As the pictures show, my partner and I had quite a feast. We had been driving all day and everything on their menu seemed really good. We really enjoyed everything! The samosas were super flavorful and crunchy. I really enjoyed the dosa as well and the lentil soup it came with was delicious and comforting. I really liked the chicken tikka masala. The sauce was perfect and just as spicy as I liked and the chicken was nice and tender. I honestly savored every bite. I think my factories were the garlic naan and the pista kulfi. I'm obsessed with kulfi and look for it every time I'm at an Indian restaurant and Fresh Mint's did not disappoint! It's house made and tastes so fresh and delicious! The owner is super friendly and it seems he really enjoys welcoming guests and striking up conversations. It turns out he used to live in the Detroit area so we talked a bit about Michigan and Ann Arbor! This was a wonderful experience all around and I'm so glad we stopped by.

Was craving Indian food and this was exactly what I needed. I had the vegetable pakoras (so good!) and tried the dal on recommendation -- definitely a new favorite.

A wonderfully rich non-vegetarian, lunch plate. The flavors are immense and intense.

The restaurant did not serve any alcohol drinks, which surprised us as we had seen bottles of wine as we entered. We ordered some octopus appetizers that were cold and almost frozen in the center. They were ok but not great. After the complimentary miso soup was served, our group ordered different dinner dishes from our efficient but a bit too reserved server. Two had the bulgogi box and neither cared much for the bulgogi itself although the other items in the box were ok. Two of us ordered the chirashi bowl and we both enjoyed it. Another ordered the sashimi box and he too like the dinner. Overall the dinner was ok as our first one in Morgantown, which seems to have limited Restaurant options from which to choose. For Japanese food, the food was ok for a non-costal city. But, the lack of sake, beer or wine was a minus for us.

Takoyaki was decent, slightly saltier than what I'm used to but I didn't mind. However, the chicken Bi Bim Bap was a true disappointment. There was no sauce (gochujang) that would traditionally come with the dish. The egg was supposed to be slightly running, but it was over cooked. The entire thing tasted like white rice with boiled chicken and veggies. It looked bland because in fact, it was.

There's a paid parking lot across the street as well as metered parking on High Street. Their awning has seen better days but after walking up a small flight of stairs, you enter a cozy restaurant and greeted by its staff. There's about 8 tables for seating and the walls are neatly decorated with Japanese art. The front wall displays photos of their food offerings and made ordering easy. The friendly cashier answered some questions and we placed our order of shoyu ramen, curry rice with chicken katsu, shumai, gyoza, and takoyaki as well as soft drinks. There were several other customers having their meals and more gradually filled the tables as others left. The food was served soon after and looked delicious. They formed a kitty cat with the rice, complete with nori for cat eyes on the curry katsu plate. Nice touch. The curry was very flavorful and just the right consistency and a little spicy which went great with the katsu. Only wish there was more katsu. My buddy's ramen looked fantastic and was told the noodles were delicious in the broth. Found out the noodles aren't made in house but bought from a vendor. The gyoza and shumai were very tasty alone and with its sauce. The takoyaki took some time to cook but was nicely sauced and served. There were sizable chunks of tako inside and was very tasty. The prices are reasonable for a specialty restaurant and the service was great. There's another Japanese restaurant in Morgantown which was very good but Yama's was a little better and I'd return if ever I'm in Morgantown.
