Chopped pork, brisket, Cole slaw, baked beans, corn bread muffin.

Best BBQ I have had in a long time! Chopped pork was soft and flavorful. The brisket was smoked to perfection. Had the two meats along with sides of coleslaw (just the right mix of sweet and savory) and a bowl of smokey and tangy baked beans. The menu had lots of great choices from burgers to BBQ and some seafood entrees. Started off with a very smooth and sweet bourbon slushie and some fried pickle chips. The pickles had a really unique smokey crust that paired with the dipping sauce made it a wonderful accomplishment to the slushie. Staff was very friendly and our server, Avery was super friendly, very attentive with excellent recommendations. Too full for dessert- maybe next time!

Tony and I both craving BBQ since it was Memorial Day and we didn't get invited to anyone's BBQ. So, I had to go to Morgantown for a EGM test on Tuesday so we went Night before to stay at Hilton. This restaurant is located inside the Holiday Inn Hotel. Large free parking. Beautiful large restaurant with large patio seating. We were greeted and seated immediately. I ordered Tony a Bud Light Draft they have 2/$5 Special every day all day... I got a Pepsi... We ordered a 3 meat sampler platter to share with Baby Back Ribs, Pulled Pork and Jalapeño Cheddar Sausage with garlic butter toast and 2 sides we chose Mac n cheese with baked beans. Our lovely attentive waitress was very nice and helpful but I didn't catch her name. Tony and split the plate a d it was delicious Baked Beans to die for!! Perfect Mac n cheese very cheesy , a tad dry but I would order again. The pulled pork was our favorite. We enjoyed both the spicy and sweet BBQ options on our table. The baby back ribs were extremely bare with so much dark black char, they were just too dry to really enjoy....very disappointed there! But we will definitely go back. Several things on the menu are enticing us for another go around!!!

Great BBQ, reasonable prices and huge portions. We ordered the sampler and we brought home a roaster pan of leftovers!

Shortly after our waitress stopped by for drink orders and another large group of women were seated right next to us. We could barely hear each other. The entire rest of the room was empty! But they got seated less than 2 feet away. I know they were having a good time, us, not so much. Hostess tip: in this type of instance don't stack people on top of each other. There was plenty of space to spread us out. We ordered appetizers and dinners. appetizers were delicious: peel n eat shrimp, spinach artichoke dip and calamari (my grandson wanted it!) Dinners ordered: Beef Wellington, salmon (ordered blackened), Cajun chicken Alfredo, child's beef tips and chicken basket. All the dinners were great, as well as the asparagus, BUT, the salads greens were brown. I even pointed it out to the waitress, but they didn't seem very concerned. I even thought they might offer a small discount, it was that bad. For the five dinner with tip was over $225. You certainly can eat for less, beef Wellington alone was $50. All in all, beautiful setting, cozy dining room. Friendly staff. We will go back sometime.

She was so friendly and very attentive. The ambiance is also very nice! For drinks, I had the Espresso Martini and the Chocolate Old Fashioned. These were both delicious! The breadsticks were also very buttery and tasty. For an appetizer, we had the Bruschetta. It is a different take than normal bruschetta and I am not the biggest fan of it. The one complaint about the bruschetta is that it was extremely salty. This made it less enjoyable. For an entree, I had the Crispy Chicken Rigatoni. This was yummy, but I feel as though the vodka sauce was missing something. The Lobster Ravioli was also delicious and did not miss!

We got the salmon salad, chicken parm, and stuffed peppers. The latter was the only decent thing. The salmon on the salad was dry and burned to a crisp. Had to send it back. The chicken parm was slopped sideways onto my plate with the pasta... that was still dripping/pooling with water. The cheese was definitely not what I expected. It looked and tasted like a single slice of Kraft provolone. The pasta came with a salad that was served on a tiny bread plate, you know, one of those that holds a little roll when used properly. All in all, terrible value. Won't be going back. The photos say it all.

I'm Thai and grew up eating very spicy food, including authentic som tam from Thai restaurants, so…read moreI'm very familiar with how Thai spice levels normally feel. This is actually the first time I've had such a strong physical reaction. Most traditional Thai restaurants use fresh Thai chilies when making papaya salad, not large amounts of ground chili powder, because chili powder creates a much harsher, burning heat on the stomach rather than the normal fresh chili heat. I ordered spice level 4 expecting something moderate, but it felt closer to what would be level 9-10 at many Thai restaurants. There was no warning that the spice level was based on chili powder rather than fresh chilies. After eating, I experienced severe stomach burning, dizziness, and almost fainted, which has never happened to me from Thai food before. Information for the chef (from someone Thai, hoping this helps): Fresh chilies and chili powder create different types of heat. Chili powder is made from dried chilies, which concentrates capsaicin (the compound that causes burning). It also often contains more crushed seeds and inner membranes, which hold the highest capsaicin levels. Because it is finely ground, it spreads more evenly and can coat the mouth and stomach, causing a deeper and harsher burning sensation compared to the sharper but cleaner heat from fresh chilies typically used in traditional som tam. I would strongly recommend that the restaurant clarify how their spice levels work and what type of chili they use so customers can make informed choices. Thai food can be spicy, but it shouldn't come as a surprise in a way that causes physical distress. As someone from Thailand, this was not the typical type of spice we associate with authentic som tam. My mom also own Papaya Salad restaurant in Thailand. I know how to make my own dish. This is not authentic and not a good Thai food. 4 5555
