I was surprised with the low reviews. I enjoyed my 2 apps and drink. I had seafood fritters - you figure they would be heavy but light as air; Belizisn Mussrls and Clams - I wanted to lick the bowl lol. If you not sure from the reviews. I actually asked the customer that was eating there if they liked the food.

1st time coming here. I came for all you can eat. I opted for the crab legs, shrimp and muscles for $59. I also ordered a giant beer which was delicious! With your order you get crab cakes which I didn't eat, not a fan honestly, corn, 2 red potatoes and choice of jambalaya or gumbo. I ordered the gumbo. Its very easy to park here it is in a giant shopping plaza and the ambiance is beachy which you would expect at a place like this. Starting with the gumbo, it lacked flavor spice and the rice was a weird mushy ball. The main course came and it was bland all around in flavor. The crab legs were small and mushy and for some very weird reason had no taste of crab. The shrimp was dry and tough with the majority of them having black marks as pictured below. The muscles were very tiny and half the order of muscles were just shells and no muscle at all. Service was friendly and attentive which was the best part of this experience. The bar tender did an amazing job! There is only 1 other option with all you can eat and its called Tropics. Go there!!!!

    1/2 lb. Snow Crab

Food was awesome, I was surprised to see that they also had chicken wings for an appetizer, which were really good. Everything I tasted was amazing, the drinks, the chicken, the crab, the fries, the list goes on and on. Service was great as well, server was very nice and did great at their job. Price was a little much, but the quality was definitely worth the money. The restaurant also had a well kept area, pretty decor, cool cups, and much more. Overall a great restaurant, would recommend for people who like seafood around Morgantown and surrounding areas.

Bland older potatoes with no seasoning.

First I'll say my server/bartender was very nice. That's where the good part of this review ends. They should be ashamed to call this Caribbean fusion. It's like they've never been to the Caribbean or even met a person from the Caribbean. The good has no flavor. For this price I'd expect the food to be fresh at least. The market price was extremely over priced. The fritters were just unseasoned greasy flour. Nothing had seasoning or flavor. The crab legs were so skinny there was no meat to be had. The shrimp was not deveined and was full of poop. Seriously not a bit of seasoning. I would never go here or recommend to anyone else. This is disrespectful to the Caribbean culture.

This was our second visit to this restaurant. Our first visit was during COVID and we were disappointed, but since COVID ruined every experience we decided to give it another try. Well, they no longer have a COVID excuse. It's overpriced for what you get. The menu descriptions aren't accurate. We both walked away disappointed, again. My husband ordered the Barbados Scallops & Shrimp. The menu said seared scallops and shrimp with potatoes and a coconut sauce. It was a somewhat accurate description but it should have clarified that it was basically a soup. The scallops were NOT seared and there were only 3 of them, the shrimp were small and there were only 6-8 of them. The rest of the dish was "filler": broccoli, peppers, and carrots (not a single potato was found) sitting in a pool of coconut sauce. It came with 2 scoops of white rice - which you needed to help absorb the massive amounts of coconut sauce. The flavor was decent, but it wasn't what he was expecting. He added a side of coleslaw for $3 which came in a small plastic cup (you can see in the picture). I ordered the crab cakes. They were actually pretty good, although I could taste the bread filler. It came with 2 scoops of rice & beans (mixed together). I couldn't eat the rice & beans. It was room temperature and mushy, and flavorless. Overall, extremely disappointing. If I'm going to pay $30+ for a meal I expect decent quality. I wouldn't bother with this place.

I would give the experience overall a 4/5, the food a 4/5, wait service 4.5/5, environment 4.5/5. This place is pricey, but seafood in the middle of WV is hard to come by. The crab dip is delicious, so don't skip it as an appetizer! Perfectly seasoned and delightful. The kids got the a la carte snowcrab (old bay seasoned) with fries. The crab was cooked and seasoned well, and came out hot. The fries were crispy and nicely seasoned with old bay. They both gave their food 5/5! I had coconut shrimp, which was average. The shack sauce to dip them in was excellent, but the shrimp itself was really sweet and nothing to write home over. I would give it 3/5. The husband had the hot mess bucket, which was indeed a mess. He said it was very good, but he would likely get old bay seasoning instead of hot mess seasoning next time. He gave his food 5/5. We didn't have alcoholic drinks, but the options look yummy. There is free WIFI, lots of TVs to watch football, and friendly service. We would likely come here again if we want fairly good seafood, though over $100 + tip for four of us is a bit steep.

It was ok--our first couple options had huge waits (and no reservation mechanism) so this was a last-minute switch. I can't say I will be back--they were definitely short-staffed but most places are right now. But the food just wasn't that great. I had salmon and it was over cooked along with the veggies but the potatoes were under-cooked. We had waited so long for our food (maybe 30-40 mins) that I ate it all anyway since we it was a late dinner and we had been out all day on the water. My daughter's chicken and rice was just that--no veggies, and she said that the chicken was too spicy for her. The margarita I had was great--just took forever!

Shortly after our waitress stopped by for drink orders and another large group of women were seated right next to us. We could barely hear each other. The entire rest of the room was empty! But they got seated less than 2 feet away. I know they were having a good time, us, not so much. Hostess tip: in this type of instance don't stack people on top of each other. There was plenty of space to spread us out. We ordered appetizers and dinners. appetizers were delicious: peel n eat shrimp, spinach artichoke dip and calamari (my grandson wanted it!) Dinners ordered: Beef Wellington, salmon (ordered blackened), Cajun chicken Alfredo, child's beef tips and chicken basket. All the dinners were great, as well as the asparagus, BUT, the salads greens were brown. I even pointed it out to the waitress, but they didn't seem very concerned. I even thought they might offer a small discount, it was that bad. For the five dinner with tip was over $225. You certainly can eat for less, beef Wellington alone was $50. All in all, beautiful setting, cozy dining room. Friendly staff. We will go back sometime.

I'm Thai and grew up eating very spicy food, including authentic som tam from Thai restaurants, so…read moreI'm very familiar with how Thai spice levels normally feel. This is actually the first time I've had such a strong physical reaction. Most traditional Thai restaurants use fresh Thai chilies when making papaya salad, not large amounts of ground chili powder, because chili powder creates a much harsher, burning heat on the stomach rather than the normal fresh chili heat. I ordered spice level 4 expecting something moderate, but it felt closer to what would be level 9-10 at many Thai restaurants. There was no warning that the spice level was based on chili powder rather than fresh chilies. After eating, I experienced severe stomach burning, dizziness, and almost fainted, which has never happened to me from Thai food before. Information for the chef (from someone Thai, hoping this helps): Fresh chilies and chili powder create different types of heat. Chili powder is made from dried chilies, which concentrates capsaicin (the compound that causes burning). It also often contains more crushed seeds and inner membranes, which hold the highest capsaicin levels. Because it is finely ground, it spreads more evenly and can coat the mouth and stomach, causing a deeper and harsher burning sensation compared to the sharper but cleaner heat from fresh chilies typically used in traditional som tam. I would strongly recommend that the restaurant clarify how their spice levels work and what type of chili they use so customers can make informed choices. Thai food can be spicy, but it shouldn't come as a surprise in a way that causes physical distress. As someone from Thailand, this was not the typical type of spice we associate with authentic som tam. My mom also own Papaya Salad restaurant in Thailand. I know how to make my own dish. This is not authentic and not a good Thai food. 4 5555
