Would post this under the other Fresh however I haven't visited that one so I can't vouch for the location. Either way Fresh is the best stuff. I had originally walked by it because I knew it was out of my price range and so I headed to Sephora which is right around the corner. Once I got there I knew what I needed and easily picked it all up but then decided to browse a bit. I sometimes like to add little treats to my make-up bag. I was asking a salesperson some questions and she was so unpleasant and un-helpful...she literally just pointed in the general direction of what I was looking for and then immediately walked away from me, no other suggestions, NOTHING! That was it, this wasn't the first time I've had horrible customer service at this Sephora. I decided to put all of the items back that I had in my hand and then I walked out! Still actually needing a couple of things, I headed back to Fresh. Everything in there smells and looks so amazing, it's pleasing on so many sensory levels. There is a saleswoman there named Larissa who is by far one of the nicest salespeople in all of NYC, at least the ones that I've come across and interacted with. She was so helpful and she gave me a free make-up session and then sat there with me when my indecisive self just could not figure out what to buy. We went through and practically made a pros and cons list of everything she put on me and then decided on stuff that I would actually use everyday so that I would get my moneys worth. And I definitely did! Fresh has the best mascara ever and if you're looking for a new scent their line is really diverse and you could most certainly find something that suits you! Yes, it was a bit pricey but I will support a place that is willing to take time with their customers. that makes all the difference. read more

This place is awesome. I am new to the Fresh product family, but I have never been made to feel more welcome. I've never really been too into skin care and I'm not one to go to extremes and get facials all the time. The people in the store were great listeners and were able to recommend some great products for me. Since I am a skin care novice, they were helpful in guiding me to the right stuff and giving me samples so I didn't feel the pressure to buy a giant jar of something I wasn't sure about. After a couple weeks of using the samples that they've given me, I will definitely be back to pick up the products. I have noticed a visible improvement in my skin and am now not afraid to walk out of the house without my makeup on. It's been a great change! Thanks to the Fresh team in union square! read more

Their products are awesome but their salespeople are SUPER pushy. The brown sugar polish, rose face mask, and acai cream are the perfect splurges for any person (I say person because my brother uses Fresh, too!) I used to shop at Fresh a lot, but now I go to Sephora because they give out so many samples! read more

Have yet to use their products so will update this review but the store is clean, organized and generally pleasant smelling which is attractive (similar to the body shop which I love) Sales staff was helpful, listened to my concern and gave me options. Let me choose what I want and was very up front about promotions and programs. I would come back and continue using this product if they work well with my skin. Loved my facial with Brian at Fresh today. He was so great and informative and never once tried to push a product. In fact, by the end when he wasn't trying to make me buy anything, I was way more inclined to buy something. It made me trust his advice more. Got a face lotion and toner I'm very excited to try! I've worked in the union square area for about 6 years now and never really noticed this store before. I walked in one day looking for a simple moisturizer and a gift for a friend who lived far away who I wanted to send a care package. She was recently divorced and I wanted to give her something she can use to pamper herself to feel beautiful. When I went in Jimmy B came over to me smiling and super helpful. No only was he very acknowledgeable but he was very friendly. I've been back a couple times since and I always leave smiling, happy and with new purchases. Lol! I was drawn to this place as I was walking by and the smell was so enticing that I had to go in. Although everything in this store is on the pricier side, it appeared to contain less harmful chemicals than generic cosmetics. Everything smelled AMAZING. I have been meaning to try this line of products and to check out this store for some time and took the plunge yesterday. I had done the farmers market (got some great organic greens) and had made a quick trip to DSW (is that an oxymoron?) and had already strolled through Sephora (has so gone down hill) when I saw someone with a small FRESH shopping bag and made my way over.I usually use Dr. Hauschka and was completely out of product so the timing was good. The store is light, airy, inviting, smells great and feels boutiquey which immediately makes you feel like you're about to pamper yourself.The salesperson was friendly and knowledgeable and straddled that place between pushing the products and letting the products speak for themselves. Not an easy thing to do. I initially was just looking for lipgloss (I am ALWAYS looking for lipgloss) but I happened to be out of mascara and Alicia (look for her) took the opportunity to apply the one they have and the new one that is launching soon. I pre-ordered. Then she took a few minutes to cleanse my face,apply anti aging serum and moisturizer,some face glow,bronzing powder and gloss. My face felt awesome! I purchased everything. Got a free lipgloss (they were running a promo) and left the store with a HUGE dent in my wallet but happy none the less. Ten minutes later I met my husband who stared at me and said " what have you been doing? you look great." Worth every penny. read more

Another wonderful Fresh shop. I stopped in to pick up some skincare product. The salesperson who helped me out was very nice, helpful, and didn't pressure me. At least, if you want them to leave you alone, they will. They'll answer all my questions and are friendly. You do pay more $$$ for their products, though. The shop even had some items which I've never seen before. It's fun to see something new or different, which might not be on their website or other retailers of their products. read more

Jamie was amazing and has amazing skin, so that was a good sign! She did my facial (a new service Fresh is offering) with tender, loving, care! I never had a sitting facial before but even while sitting upright she gently applied and washed off product without dripping or spilling. Every step of the way, she made sure to inform me about the product and most importantly all the ingredients of each product. She has a wealth of product knowledge! Beautiful store with very helpful staff! I stopped into Fresh during a lunch break to take a look around when they were doing a special event with double (or triple, can't remember) awards point and some goodies like cookies and candied almonds. I think it's a really nice touch when stores do this and contributed to the very luxurious feel of the store. read more

Nice, large, clean store. Great products. Stopped in to pick up some lemon body wash (It's not old spice but it's manly). Its one of the few products that doesn't break me out and it has a nice clean scent. The staff was fun, helpful and knowledgeable of the products. Store is well stocked, clean and easy to navigate out well. Although the items are not cheap, I like the value for the product. I tried the new citrus gel and can say I'm not a fan. read more

Wow! I was strolling by this store and wandered in since it was one of the only places on the street that was open on the 4th of July. I've never used any of the products before but it smells amazing in there. I ended up talking to the manager, who was one of the friendliest and nicest people ever! She gave me a bunch of free samples of the cleanser I was interested in, which is great because the products at Fresh are a little more expensive than what I'm used to. Now that I can try it out for myself I might be sold! Definitely going back to this specific location to make a big purchase with her if I end up liking the samples. read more

I went to Fresh a week or so ago to treat myself. I wanted a moisturizing mask that I saw online and that sounded perfectly suited for my needs. When I walked in Gloria greeted me warmly and kindly offered to help. I told her which product I was looking for and rather than just ring me up (which would have been easy to do!) she asked a few questions in order to find out exactly what I hoped to get out of that product. She then took the time, unhurried, to walk me through all the other options...not to up-sell me but to actually make sure I got the product that would give me the results I was looking for. In the end we determined which product was right and I left beaming! She was a total pleasure and knew the products backwards and forwards. And not only am I happy with my experience in the store, and with Gloria specifically, but the product is EXACTLY what I needed. I pass this place 3-5x a week on my way to Cycling class. It was a sunny day this weekend, I had no where to be, I had extra cash to spend...I stopped in. I didn't like the way there scents smelled waiving the tester bottles under my nose, but on my skin, I thought they smelt amazing (well one in particular). Luckily the store was somewhat packed. I say that b/c as I went to grab the small bottle of perfume I liked, one of the salesmen who saw me reach for the bottle in passing (mind you he was with / helping another customer) stopped to give me a 15 second speech on why the larger size was a better idea to buy. I have no doubt had it been less busy this pitch would have been stronger, longer & more forceful. Pushy sales people make me irate to no end!! I want to make it clear that I did not personally experience the pushy sales pressure in my visit (I don't consider one liner pitches "sales pressure"...if it stops there), but I could definitely envision this place being very PUSHY. It's just a feeling I got...That's all I'm saying. Why the 3 stars? I love the scent I bought, but it's literally gone in an hour. I understand a scent fading a great deal, but to not be able to detect that I put anything on to begin with when I smell my wrists after only an hour? I don't exactly want to fork up the $$ they charge for products with that short of a shelf life. I do really like the scent though. I would possibly buy it again in the future. My advice would be to go with the small bottle b/c you're going to have to carry it with you everywhere to re-apply it every hour! read more

This store is amazing! It's my second time buying a product from them and while there I discussed with CJ Ma about my recent skin problems. Not only did she go into depth about skin but she even asked me questions about my skin regimen. The girl KNOWS her products! Most of all she really listened and cared about helping me through this. I can't wait to go back in Tuesday to talk to her more. I get a great energy from everyone who works there however if you need to stop by I'd really recommend talking to her.
