When I brought this issue to the manager's attention, his response was that he didn't stain the chair and implied it was the customers' responsibility. That approach felt dismissive and not at all aligned with good customer service. While he did apologize and offered me a bag of chips and a drink after I spent $18 on my meal, it felt inadequate. I chose not to accept his offer because a more professional response would have made a significant difference. I understand that accidents happen, but there should have been measures in place to inspect tables and chairs to prevent such issues. I would have appreciated it if he had considered compensating my meal, but he insisted that doing so would come out of his pocket. I wasn't looking for anything extravagant; I just wanted a more mature approach to addressing the dirty chair that ended up staining my shorts. This experience has led me to decide not to return to this location. I hope the owner takes the time to discuss customer service with his son and emphasizes the importance of maintaining cleanliness in the establishment. Accountability is crucial in customer service. Additionally, whenever I bring my family there, we usually spend close to $100 on sandwiches, visiting at least once or twice a month.
