This beautiful little restaurant is located right underneath a little hotel apartment that I regularly visit with my friends. I was very excited to write this review about the positive experience and I had here. In my images, I showcase a beautiful French omelette. It is so easy for people to get omelettes wrong and overcook them until they are a rubbery mess. But mine was very soft, decadent, and fluffy with a very beautiful balance of all flavors present in the dish. I also appreciated the salad that came with it because I think starting the day off with some fiber is very healthy for the body. In the past, I've had the steak and eggs and it was one of the most delicious things I've ever eaten. But when I came to visit on this specific day, they were out and happily recommended the omelettes instead. It can get crowded, but I don't agree with the reviews here that say the restaurant gets too loud. Let's be honest. Fredericksburg has a certain type of demographic and at times I feel they are unfairly nitpicky to the local businesses. When the restaurant is crowded, it's lively and full of smiling faces and servers who are eager to serve and make sure that you enjoy your meal. This is easily my favorite brunch spot in Fredericksburg. If you are in the area or a local resident this an absolute must. In fact, it's so good I would consider coming every morning for breakfast when I visit. The food is beyond fresh and you can tell they take their dishes seriously. The hollandaise sauce is light and creamy and provides the perfect pairing for several of their entrees. The poached eggs, salads and omelettes are standout favorites in my option. Additionally they will custom order any modifications to your desired pallet. The only draw back is the parking is quite limited. They definitely have more seating than they do parking. It's also easy to miss as the restaurant looks like a house from the street. That said, if you are visiting for the first time I encourage you to allow extra time to find parking and the opportunity to find the restaurant in case you pass it my mistake. read more

Miranda was my server and she was spot on with her service! She was knowledgeable and friendly. I ended up betting the Bloody Mary (definitely recommend, right amount of spice and goodies on top) the I think it was fb breakfast it came with a little of everything. Server forgot our drinks from start to finish. They stuck 4 of us on a itty bitty table so when people walked past our forks went flying. They stuffed so many tables into such a small space. The coffee cups were filled all the way to the top so we couldn't add anything to them. The matcha martini was ok, truffle fries were cooked to perfection. Our pancakes were black and burnt to a crisp then "hidden" under powered sugar. Same thing with the monte cristo. My wife and I visited Fredericksburg Brunch Company on a Friday morning before a day of wine tasting. Overall, we were happy with the dishes we ordered -- the Eggs Benedict and the Crab Benedict were both flavorful and well-prepared. That said, a few things held the experience back. Even though the restaurant was only about half full, the noise level was surprisingly high. Some additional sound‑dampening would go a long way toward making the dining room more comfortable. Until that's addressed, the patio might be the better choice for anyone sensitive to noise. We also noticed a cockroach next to our table. The hostess handled it quickly and professionally, but it was still concerning to see during a meal. Finally, the bacon appeared to be cooked in bulk on a sheet pan, which left it a bit flat and lacking crispness -- a small detail, but one that's easy to improve. Came in on a Tuesday for our 10th anniversary. Place was not too busy and the inside is simple but nice. Music was soft in the background and not too overwhelming. Service was prompt and the kept my drinks filled through the whole meal (a BIG deal for me and one of my measures of a great wait staff). I got the Egg's Neptune and my wife got the French Toast with bacon. I'm always worried about crab cakes away from the Northeast, but these were SOLID and for $21, it's not a bad price for crab cakes. The hollandaise was creamy and perfectly seasoned, the poached eggs were cooked to perfection and the fruit was fresh (grapes, cantaloupe, blueberries, strawberries, and pineapple). French toast was simple but delicious. Two LARGE pieces and 4 big bacon slices for $15. Price for everything was perfect, coffee was delicious, and food was great. Although this is about an hour and half drive for us (we live in San Antonio), we will be back. read more

We showed up a weekend that was cooler that it had been so when we asked for a heater to be moved by us outside, they went above and beyond and moved them close to us! One day they decided to forge their own culinary path and left said restaurant group. Since that day it's full steam ahead opening multiple restaurants. Yes, please and an immediate order of escargot before I even ordered a beverage. OMG, garlic and butter overload. Nicely toasted bread. A perfect start to any meal. Yes, even breakfast in a German town. I went spendy and went for the Crab Cake Benedict. Also subbing the muffin for a biscuit. Only complaint was the dish needed more hollandaise. I also asked for salsa for my taters. A smoky element I didn't expect but amazing flavors. GF enjoyed her Veggie Omelette. Again, Well done to the Nury family. No, it is not anything like the other restaurants. It reminds me some of the small neighborhood cafes when I travel abroad. If I could make one suggestion, adding a small selection of expresso beverages. The Food. The Avocado toast is absolutely wonderful. Another favorite is the omelets. And yes, they are wonderful about addressing food allergies when ordering your omelet. Monday the owner recognized me from mistakenly planning breakfast with a colleague at their location on 87/Hwy Street and recommended the pear salad. Yes, for breakfast. It was incredible. The service staff is extremely friendly and again. They are wonderful trying to help with a food allergy. If you're local and haven't tried it out, I highly recommend it. Fredericksburg Brunch recently opened in the former location of Sunset Grill. Interior looks about the same, but the ambiance is a bit less raucous than its predecessor. With fresh flowers on the table and escargot available as a starter, they seem to be going for a French vibe. Getting into the spirit, I ordered the French toast. (Is that really French? Not really sure but it sounded good.) It came with a hearty dousing of powdered sugar and three savory sausage links. Tasty, although the French toast was not very moist. My companion customized the vegetarian omelet by adding bacon, LOL. Fresh avocado slices on the top made it enjoyable to eat. Good coffee that our server regularly replenished. The vibe is lovely but that where the pleasantry stops. None of the food is seasoned, not even with salt. Potatoes... eggs... nothing. I ordered eggs over medium and got over easy. Asked to have them cooked up a bit more and was basically brought back the same eggs. Our pancakes were also raw on the inside. The service was also less than mediocre. Super disappointing! Coffee was okay. The bad: unfortunately, the service was not up to par. Maybe it had to do with the 20% gratuity our waitress, Renata, chose to add? We asked for more sugar, never got it. Have had some time to contemplate what to provide in this review, and even if I should provide one at all. Swung by this place a few weeks ago for breakfast. Had read the reviews in advance, and not seeing anything too troublesome, outside of parking concerns felt it was safe bet. First, food was satisfactory, nothing special. I ordered the Monte Cristo sandwich, while my spouse ordered the Homestyle Breakfast. The sandwich French Toast was overcooked, and the jam (strawberry) provided did not pair well at all with the other ingredients. Side potatoes serving was generous, but tasted as though they were reheated. My spouse's breakfast was average, scrambled eggs were good; however, the bacon served was fatty (maybe undercooked.) Interaction between the staff and patrons seemed to be fairly casual too; our only complaint about service was the location where we were seated was too close to a bathroom or kitchen, so there was a fragrant (dirty water) smell that really diminished the experience. Most of the menu prices are fair for the area, but this location (service and menu) appears to be targeted more for tourists as apposed to locals, or they are simply so new that the kinks have not been worked out just yet. read more

My husband and I went to brunch here on Sunday morning. The parking was difficult, and there was a short wait, but it was definitely worth it. The ambiance was great! The selections on the menu all looked amazing as well. We ordered two coffees, which were good. We also chose the steak and eggs and the veggie omelet to share. Both were delicious, but we regretted sharing because the steak and eggs were incredible! We definitely will each be ordering our own next time. Stopped for brunch on the way out to head back home. We were a party of 6. Checked in Young man said about 30 min wait. It was very cold out, so I stayed waiting inside (place was small) after about 15 min the gentleman came to me & said "we're clearing out this table for you)" I waited nearby that table to be out of the way of standing over diners. Then another waiter comes over on his phone, he's telling whomever "oh yeah, come in I have a table" He starts helping clear table & my family walks in & he looks surprised. I tell him the guy already gave us this table. I saw him rush off to front & I believe discuss the table. We sat. I saw him rustling to put other tables together and about 5 min later that Party walks in. We get our drinks and after receiving our drinks, we ordered. We waited quite a long time for our food. This table of 6 that walked in 5 min after we were sitting were already eating away when we noticed our food was taking long. Still waited for our food & when I mentioned to our waiter (he was their waiter too) he said he has a table outside & that they ordered before us, which was not true. Anyway, I said "ok, that's fine" Our meals came out slowly & not at same time & then waited even longer for the salads. When it came to pay, he gave us one check. When we mentioned we wanted separate checks, he said "we don't do separate checks on weekends" I said "it would be nice if you had let us know" his answer was "it's on the menu" Yes, in tiny, tiny print and the very bottom AND the group that was sitting before us at the table we took, had 6 tabs left on the table. Our entire weekend in Fredricksburg was excellent. Had a wonderful time. But this selective service was far from the cherry on top. It was this waiter; he presented himself well, but was sneaky as he planned to give away our table we had been waiting for and then proceeded by giving us the slowest, but pleasant service. We must've fouled his plans to sit his favorite diners, as promised on that phone call. And when we asked for extra syrup, a gal brought us 3 packages of Smucker's, instead of the warm syrup they bring you with the meal. We were seated in the 2nd section by the little window on one round table & one square put together on 1/17 about 11:30-12:30. Oh, there's NO RESERVATIONS! read more
