Breakfast at Fred Brunch. Great place to sit outside. The space used to be Sunset Grill but they expanded the area. Good service. Good food with big portions. They also have mimosas. Yum

This is easily my favorite brunch spot in Fredericksburg. If you are in the area or a local resident this an absolute must. In fact, it's so good I would consider coming every morning for breakfast when I visit. The food is beyond fresh and you can tell they take their dishes seriously. The hollandaise sauce is light and creamy and provides the perfect pairing for several of their entrees. The poached eggs, salads and omelettes are standout favorites in my option. Additionally they will custom order any modifications to your desired pallet. The only draw back is the parking is quite limited. They definitely have more seating than they do parking. It's also easy to miss as the restaurant looks like a house from the street. That said, if you are visiting for the first time I encourage you to allow extra time to find parking and the opportunity to find the restaurant in case you pass it my mistake.

Miranda was my server and she was spot on with her service! She was knowledgeable and friendly. I ended up betting the Bloody Mary (definitely recommend, right amount of spice and goodies on top) the I think it was fb breakfast it came with a little of everything. The French toast had the right amount of crunch on it and so full of flavor! The only suggestion is no powdered sugar on French toast it is perfect with out. Otherwise i recommend you check them out!

    Overcooked food

The service was good. Unfortunately, the food was very dry and overcooked, and it was disappointing because it was everyone's plate. We also noticed the table next to us barely touched their food, which made it seem like we weren't the only ones who had that experience.

Delicious FBC omelette. Pancakes are a bit heavy, but everything else was perfect. Friendly service avg prices.

My wife and I visited Fredericksburg Brunch Company on a Friday morning before a day of wine tasting. Overall, we were happy with the dishes we ordered -- the Eggs Benedict and the Crab Benedict were both flavorful and well-prepared. That said, a few things held the experience back. Even though the restaurant was only about half full, the noise level was surprisingly high. Some additional sound‑dampening would go a long way toward making the dining room more comfortable. Until that's addressed, the patio might be the better choice for anyone sensitive to noise. We also noticed a cockroach next to our table. The hostess handled it quickly and professionally, but it was still concerning to see during a meal. Finally, the bacon appeared to be cooked in bulk on a sheet pan, which left it a bit flat and lacking crispness -- a small detail, but one that's easy to improve. In short: good food, friendly staff, and potential to be a great brunch spot with a few operational tweaks.

    Eggs Neptune

Came in on a Tuesday for our 10th anniversary. Place was not too busy and the inside is simple but nice. Music was soft in the background and not too overwhelming. Service was prompt and the kept my drinks filled through the whole meal (a BIG deal for me and one of my measures of a great wait staff). I got the Egg's Neptune and my wife got the French Toast with bacon. I'm always worried about crab cakes away from the Northeast, but these were SOLID and for $21, it's not a bad price for crab cakes. The hollandaise was creamy and perfectly seasoned, the poached eggs were cooked to perfection and the fruit was fresh (grapes, cantaloupe, blueberries, strawberries, and pineapple). French toast was simple but delicious. Two LARGE pieces and 4 big bacon slices for $15. Price for everything was perfect, coffee was delicious, and food was great. Although this is about an hour and half drive for us (we live in San Antonio), we will be back.

Hey hungry travelers, it's me James F. reporting on doings in the Hill Country. Let's first talk about Nury and family. They used to work for one of my favorites in Fredericksburg. One day they decided to forge their own culinary path and left said restaurant group. Since that day it's full steam ahead opening multiple restaurants. Mostly family run; loved most of what I've tasted to date. For this review, they decided to open a restaurant when another relocated. Always loved this space; parking not so much. Fredericksburg Brunch Company! We arrived and were seated quickly (this won't last long). One of my favorite appetizers on the planet? Yes, please and an immediate order of escargot before I even ordered a beverage. OMG, garlic and butter overload. Nicely toasted bread. A perfect start to any meal. Yes, even breakfast in a German town. I went spendy and went for the Crab Cake Benedict. Also subbing the muffin for a biscuit. Only complaint was the dish needed more hollandaise. I also asked for salsa for my taters. A smoky element I didn't expect but amazing flavors. GF enjoyed her Veggie Omelette. Usual suspects on vegetables but the swiss and avocado versus over typical cheddar. Recap, coffee fantastic, food top notch, service friendly!

    Eggs Benedict

We came here for breakfast after staying at Sunset Inn & Suites. The service was great and the food was delicious! I forgot to take a picture of my husbands meal but he said it was delicious as well. I got the Eggs Benedict and haven't had 1 this good in a while. My daughter got the kids pancake and it was HUGE! She loved it as well and I snuck a couple of bites as well and it was delicious! Definitely recommend breakfast here!

This place offered us the best service! We showed up a weekend that was cooler that it had been so when we asked for a heater to be moved by us outside, they went above and beyond and moved them close to us! They even found us that didn't have jackets some jackets to lay over our shoulders for those of us that were unprepared lol! They then moved umbrellas when it started sprinkling! Not to mention the food was AMAZING! Highly recommend the eggs Neptune!

    Madison B.

The food was delicious and fresh! Cute environment! Was very busy & did take a little bit of a time but nothing crazy. The noise inside was pretty loud due to all of the people in a smaller space, so outdoors maybe an option of you are wanting more of a quiet experience. Wait time was a bit longer than what we thought it would be.

    French toast and sausage

Fredericksburg Brunch recently opened in the former location of Sunset Grill. Interior looks about the same, but the ambiance is a bit less raucous than its predecessor. With fresh flowers on the table and escargot available as a starter, they seem to be going for a French vibe. Getting into the spirit, I ordered the French toast. (Is that really French? Not really sure but it sounded good.) It came with a hearty dousing of powdered sugar and three savory sausage links. Tasty, although the French toast was not very moist. My companion customized the vegetarian omelet by adding bacon, LOL. Fresh avocado slices on the top made it enjoyable to eat. Good coffee that our server regularly replenished. Alas, parking is still a problem, but if you can snag a spot, Fredericksburg Brunch is a solid choice.

    Veggie omelette
    Kimberly D.

Let's start with the good: food! We ordered the FBC breakfast, veggie omelet, biscuits and gravy, and pancakes. Eggs were nice and fluffy, portions were generous, and everything was delicious. Coffee was okay. The bad: unfortunately, the service was not up to par. Maybe it had to do with the 20% gratuity our waitress, Renata, chose to add? We asked for more sugar, never got it. Asked for butter and jam for our toast (ended up going to the kitchen and requesting it our self). Too many other instances to mention. Bottom line: great food, okay service.

Fantastic and filled to the brim mimosas! Junior is absolutely amazing bartender and server! Food was excellent!

The staff are very friendly. Our server was exceptional - she was personable and appropriately attentive. I deduced to try the French Benedict which was two poached eggs on top of a croissant with ham and Swiss Cheese with their homemade Hollandaise sauce. It came with the cubed home fries and fresh fruit. The eggs were prepared well and the Hollandaise sauce was very flavorful - a great choice. While the cubed home fries didn't have anything that made them 'special' they were prepared perfectly with a bit of crispiness on the outside and soft inside. The flavor was good. The fresh fruit consisted of grapes, blueberries, cantaloupe and pineapple - all of which was fresh and flavorful. We also tried the Cochinita Pibil which was the corn tortillas filled with pork that was topped with purple cabbage and slivered carrots and their own sauce. The sauce was very good. The pork was super tender and moist. It had a great flavor but there was a hint of a flavor that we just couldn't place - almost apple-like but not quite. At any rate is was good although they could ease off on the cabbage - there was a lot of it. The refried beans that it came with were very flavorful and clearly homemade. The rice was - well, it was rice; moist but nothing to write home about. The breakfast and lunch menus had entrees from various nationalities and we would come back again to sample some other options. We did like what we had,

Vibe is euro-bistro and the staff is perfectly attentive. Prices are high, but honestly aligned to the quality of the food, at least the dishes we had were worth the prices. Food: Buttermilk Fried Chicken, with Onion/Bacon flash fried collard greens, whipped potatoes and house gravy and Jalapeno Cornbread for $32 Reuben on Marble Rye for $24 16oz Stella Artois for $10 We agreed that the fried chicken (5/5) was the best we could remember having. Whipped potatoes (5/5) were light, fluffy and perfect taste/texture. The gravy was like brown butter (5/5). The collard greens (5/5) were flash fried and if you've never had them like this, it's like eating collard green potato chips. Cornbread (3/4) was a bit too delicate and sweet for our taste. You couldn't pick it up without it falling apart. The Ruben (3/5). My wife loves a good Ruben sandwich. This one had the makings of a good one, but they use a Thousand Island sauce (too much of it) on the sandwich, and it hides the flavor of the meat. Next time we would ask for the sandwich without the TI sauce, see if that improves the rating. The sandwich came with house made potato chips (5/5), a small house salad with vinaigrette (5/5) and a large, pickled cucumber. I know, that's a pickle, but these are cucumbers that have gone maybe a third of the way through the process, so the cucumber taste is really prevalent. Lastly, we had the Creme Brulé (3/5) for dessert. It was nice, but the custard was coffee and caramel flavored, and we prefer the standard custard look and flavor. The caramel should come from the top layer, not the custard. The top layer was a bit too thick as well. We liked it, just didn't love it. Overall, quality food, service and vibe with prices that are aligned to more special occasions than everyday eating out. We'll be back to try the Monday Crawfish Etoufee and the Tuesday Duck Confit daily specials...look too good to pass up.

Each time I've been here, they've seemed understaffed. It's a seat-yourself setup, but even after sitting down, service can be pretty slow. On more than one visit, parts of the menu weren't available, and on my last trip, the kitchen wasn't even taking breakfast orders because they were too backed up. Food has been inconsistent: * Breakfast tacos were just okay * Eggs came out overcooked when ordered over-easy * Grits were watery * Bacon and sausage didn't taste fresh On the most recent visit, we had to switch to lunch. The burger was average, and the wrap was oddly put together--very thick but not well balanced. Also, the sweet potato tots we ordered were swapped out for fries.
