Stopped here for lunch today. Hubby had the Buffalo Chicken pita; I had the Pluto salad. The food was fresh, tasty and plentiful. It was a quick in and out, as we're on the road. The staff was very pleasant. There were nice places to sit, but it was a little dark. Figuring out the menu was a little confusing as a first timer, but the staff helped. read more

Discovered Fresh Planet in Tallmadge..... I have visited twice and I have ordered two smoothies on each visit. Trying to improve my diet, and the smoothies are a great way to do that! I had the "Lunch" specialty smoothie and the Mr. had the "Just For Men" Lunch: strawberries, mango, banana, orange juice, honey, apple juice, non-fat frozen yogurt, whey protein, spirulina and vitamin mix Just For Men: blueberries, mango, apple juice, saw palmetto, banana, astragalus, bee pollen Sometimes when I get healthy smoothies they have a weird taste but these ones did not at Fresh Planet. Honesty a pretty rad takeout and pickup experience. I'd never been here before but it's off the big roundabout in tallmadge in a nice little plaza next to a nail salon. They have a cute little patio with chairs out front that would be nice to sit at in summer. Had no problems finding close parking for the plaza in front or behind the plaza in the evening! Called the restaurant and it was easy enough to order - the woman working was really nice! My order was ready in literally 5 minutes. I got the Clevelander pita combo which was bomb and the walnut chicken salad with strawberries, blueberries, blue cheese, and a light pink vinaigrette that was awesome! Loads of chicken and a good portion. Added bonus! A lot of their takeout materials are eco friendly cardboard that's totally compostable! A few plastic items but they're doing their best here. Plus she asked me if I wanted silverware or not so we saved on waste there too :) The smoothies are a little pricey but you get a pretty sizable and delicious smoothie! I got the pick me up which was legit a good pick me up. Tasted great! Plus it was real clean inside, hand sanitizer was accessible, and everyone was wearing masks. This was my first time ordering from Fresh Planet, ordered via Grubhub yesterday. I ordered the Strawberry Acai Bowl and Clevelander Pita combo with black beans and rice. The Acai bowl was delicious! It was nice and cold when I got it and had the perfect mixture of ingredients. The black beans and rice were still steaming hot when my order arrived! I tried to capture the steam in the picture but not sure how well that worked LOL. The Clevelander Pita was good, but to me a pita is more like a pocket and not something that is folded in half. Having never ordered from here I wasn't expecting it to seem more like a really stuffed quesadilla. While it was really good, it was a little hard to eat. It was also really wet, probably due to the amount of peppercorn sauce and the juice from the tomatoes. So the folded part eventually fell apart and the insides fell out. But there was an ample amount of all the ingredients and they tasted really good! Maybe next time I would just ask for a little less sauce in mine. All I all I was very happy with my order, everything seems fresh. I would definitely order again if I'm in the mood for something healthy! read more

I've been coming to this cafe for months and they always provide the freshest food and smoothies. Their smoothies are definitely better than the competitor smoothie shops in the area. The customer service is always excellent and the owner is always so kind and friendly. I would highly recommend this place to anyone, they are very accommodating to diets and allergies. I gave three stars because it wasn't horrible and it wasn't great either. It was so-so, boring, not clean but not dirty, not friendly but not rude. It's like ....just enough to get by. They bragged about their beans soup so I tried it...it was not spicy but not bland. It was a one note soup. Like beans cooked in cumin water. I've been here a handful of times and each time I specifically go for the peanut butter açaí bowl. It's $7 and worth every penny. I love my bowls relatively simple and this one doesn't disappoint. I usually split something with one of my kids and then we get our own bowl. Trust me, no one is sharing! Peanut Thai Rice Bowl was ok. I love all of the ingredients but the rice was just ok. I think they overheated everything else so it didn't seem balanced, temperature wise. Pluto Salad was good. The dressing was different. The staff here is so courteous and patient. They go over any questions you have without rushing you. We really enjoyed the pita sandwich , I tried the Buffalo chicken one with blue cheese YUM! I was pleasantly surprised with how delicious everything I tried is. I ordered the teriyaki rice bowl And it came out fast and hot! You can definitely tell the ingredients is fresh. I was frolicking in Fresh Planet enjoying my delicious, magnificent, scrumptious açaí bowls with my team when all of a sudden I see a little tail. At first I thought it was a worm or something until I look further and the biggest rat you have ever seen is chilling on the floor. It is straight out of a New York City subway, and I felt I could no longer enjoy my açaí bowl, what if there was rat parts in it? The employees did nothing about the rat even when we made it very clear we were disgusted by such a creature. 10/10 food. 0/10 rat control. read more

I'm surprised that this place hasn't gotten any reviews yet. This is a new juice place that is centrally located off of Tallmadge circle. It's bright, healthy and very inviting. There's a wide variety of supplements that you can add to anything for $0.50. I was very impressed with the wide selection of fresh juices, smoothies, chilled drinks and even food! I wasn't able to try any of their food but their pizzas looked very good. I can't wait to stop by here again. read more
