However; I never intended on spending $15 on a smoothie with oat milk, avocado, and berries, and then have a service charged added to my ticket? I wasn't over the moon about the service. I stood at one out of two of the "Order Here" lines, and wasn't acknowledged out of the three people behind the counter. A couple who came in after me had their order taken before me. It wasn't until I asked if I was in the correct line for my order to be placed, did the woman tell me that she could take my order. (The couple who came in after me along with myself; were the only people at the counter, with a family sitting down who had their food). When it came for me to pay; the woman guided me through the prompts and had me skip the tip section, I guess that's why a service charge was added? The ambiance wasn't that inviting. I don't recall any music playing in the background. It kind of reminded me of stepping in line at the mall's food court, waiting to place my order. There wasn't anything about my experience that says, "Man, I've got to come back tomorrow!" However; on a good note, the smoothie was delicious! I ordered a burger and fries and was charged a service fee. I think it was 8.00. The nice young man that waited on us offered to give me a receipt and I declined so I'm not sure exactly how much it was. The fries were cold. We should have complained but didn't want to cause a scene. Beware of this place. 38.00 for a burger and cold fries. Yum! Yum! Yum! (Did I say yum?) This Fontainebleau restaurant truly excels in serving up pool and beachside eats with a gourmet twist. The food here is da bomb!!! Like everything at the Fontainebleau, even casual eateries like this offer great quality. When I'm at the beach, I work up a serious appetite for lunch. Fresh consistently fed the beast so I could get back to the water. My favorite is the unassuming "steak sandwich", which is actually a gargantuan, mouth watering and life changing Philly cheesesteak. This behemoth has piles and piles of thick grilled steak, onions, peppers, and cheese atop a huge hogie roll. I swear I could hear the angels singing while I ate this absolutely stupendous sandwich. Another huge standout are the chicken tenders. In fact, I'm having withdrawal cravings just thinking about them! These impossibly good tenders are some of the best fried chicken deliciousness to ever cross my mouth. The batter is sheer perfection. Served with zesty honey mustard sauce, this is a favorite food of the gods. The chicken gyro had perfectly seasoned marinated chicken, coupled with lettuce, tomato, onion, hummus, and tzatziki sauce. Other stand outs that did not disappoint were the burger and falafel wrap. Both were generously sized portions of delicious, high quality food. Other notable offerings include deck oven pizza's, tacos (chicken, fish, or steak), and a roasted protabello panini. They also have various salads available (Caesar, Greek, and house salad), juices, croissants, breakfast wraps, and delicious gelato. It's worth mentioning that if you order food on the beach, the food is delivered from Fresh Restaurant. Please note that I highly recommend ordering with a server rather than trying to use the app. They have been working on creating an app that allows them to locate your exact beach chair. As of this writing, I can definitely state that it is not up to par yet. The app was sluggish and inaccurate at providing my exact location on the beach. It's far easier to simply walk to Fresh and order the food directly They will usually have your food ready within 10 - 15 minutes. There are a few tables inside, and several more tables located outside towards the pool. I found this to be a much easier way to enjoy Fresh rather than eating at the pool or beach. This food can get messy!!! All in all, the food here is deliciously prepared in generous portions and is perfect for any appetite at the beach or pool. read more

Unfortunately this is the cheapest place to eat inside Fontaine. I was here for a conference and working during the day. Ran down here at lunch. I really wanted the turkey sandwich, but that was $17. I wasn't paying $17 for a turkey sandwich based on principal. So opted for the less expensive $13 hot-dog. At least it came with fries! And actually it was a thicker, better quality hot dog than most. Honestly my biggest complaint is cost. This hotel (Fontainebleau) will nickel and dime every single damn thing they can out of you. And I find it really annoying. You're paying $380 a night at the minimum, do they REALLY need to charge $17 for a sandwich? So in return, they're getting nothing but negative reviews outta me!! The nice part was - it's right next to the pool, so I took my lunch out by the pool to enjoy some fresh air before I had to head back in to work (not here on vacation). The girl working the counter wasn't exactly friendly. Not even in the slightest. On the plus side: I liked the oversize condiments. SO much better than the tiny packets you usually get at fast-food establishments. Wish more people would adopt these larger ones. If you're by the pool and need food, this is a handy spot. Plus they have gelato and other treats. But.... if you don't have to eat here, maybe find some place else cheaper. read more

Spent $100 after arriving at Fontainebleau on July 9th, 2019. Majority of our food order was good. Waited extremely long for our order. I asked one of the workers if she knew the status of my order and she just hunched her shoulders and said she don't know. I asked her if she could find out and she IGNORED me. I asked for her manager and she just pointed at the guy. At the same time he called my husbands name for our order. Since the place was over crowded we grabbed our food and went back to our room. To find out that both my husband and I chicken breast sandwiches were dry and did not have bacon which it suppose to have. In addition, they gave us both fries when I asked for a salad with my sandwich. I am highly disappointed in the service and food for this to be my first time eating at Fresh. Ok food, OK service. THE ORDER: Cracked Pepper turkey sammie on a wheat roll. It's like a build ur own sandwich spot....u choose what u want...I went for smoked turkey, swiss, lettuce, pickles, pepperocinis, olives, mustard, cucumber, and vinaigrette. not bad, but more resembles Subway than Bay Cities :) Oh, and I had a Banana Nut Muffin...it was not that good. Fresh is fresh, yo! We snacked here many a time during our breaks from the fabulous pool and scorching sun. Nothing fancy, just a short order station with tables and chairs and a herd of medium-rare tourists crowding around the waiting area by the kitchen where a wall of plastic takeout containers moves like a bass bar on a stereo. The food is... fresh! Freshly made with fresh ingredients in a fresh way. The Fresh Prince would approve. Hmm let me think if there are any other ways to get the word 'fresh' in there... nope. Continuing on, our favorite options were the curry shrimp wrap, the falafel, and the shrimp pizza. Hey, when in Rome, right? The price is just right and the wraps come with french fries or a side of fruit. After baking under a southern sun all day, vitamins please! The gelato was delicious goodness. I see a lot of other reviewers complaining about the price, and yes it's pricey, but living in Chicago I've become immune to dessert sticker shock. We pay $3.50 for a donut 'round these parts. This is a casual cafe located inside the Fountainbleau resort. It's a decent place to go to if you are short on time and need something quick. The food is pretty good considering it's a fast prep cafe. I was able to take my meal to go and eat in the bar lounge. It is pricey but that comes with the territory because it's in Fountainbleau. I ordered a breakfast wrap, which is as basic as it gets for a menu item...it was so poor tasting that I walked over and asked for hot sauce to try and mask some of the poor taste. I was informed by the girl behind the counter that hot sauce basically in a small ramekin would be un upcharge of $2.18. Obviously I'm not bitching about price staying at a $500 a night hotel but there is a line to draw here on principal. $2.18 for a ramekin of hot sauce? This is a small, casual cafe located just off the pool at the Fontainebleau Hotel. They have tables inside and outside, and the servers at the pool serve food from here as well. They serve salads, sandwiches, pizza, appetizers and wraps. The food is pretty good - not amazing. The prices are crazy though - we bought two sandwiches and two sodas one day and it came out to $37! read more

Really excellent, but expensive, gelato. There are a plethora of flavors from which to choose, and the authenticity rivals that of something you would find for sale on a street in Rome. If you have a craving for some gelato, don't cut corners. Spend the $7 (yes, $7) on a double scoop and get two of your favorite flavors. Very expensive for what you get. The food is not bad but not worth the price. If you come during pick hours food can take 20-30 minutes to be delivered. THIS IS THE WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER EATEN AT....STAY AWAY!!!! When I say that I mean it and it's not an understatement. I went there b/c they stopped serving food on the beach so I had no other choice except on of the fancier places that were in the hotel. I had a falafal wrap with fries and a coke and it cost me $22 and I'm sorry for that price it should have be absolutely devine! This meal was the absolute opposite and I could have went to the local soup kitchen and gotten better food! The falafal balls were way over cooked to the point they were burt and hard I took two bites and threw it out! When we complained about it the manager gave us some arrogant response and basically told us that we didn't know what we were talking about! It was really a terrible experience to have at one of the nicest resorts on Miami beach!! If I were an executive at the fountainebleau I would close this place down and come up with a better idea for a cafe that would serve top quality food which should be expected at a resort of their caliber!! read more

I asked the concierge for a place to grab a quick bite and they directed me here. This is a typical tourist trap. I don't mind paying a premium when you receive exception food, service, or ambiance. This place offers none of that. They simply charge the prices they do because of the volume and the fact that people will pay it. I don't even know how to describe how small the shrimp were in my shrimp wrap other than the size of a dime. It was a mix of about 8 or 9 of those shrimp and rice.
