It's a bodega: sometimes that's what you want. Prices are fine, not great. Food is fine, not great. Service is pretty good, friendly but disjointed: order food at one counter, pay at another and return to the first to get food, then serve your own condiments at a third spot and head out to search for a table. Always a line - well, more than one line: there's a line to order, a line to pay and a mob milling around waiting for food. And usually some doofus standing right in front of the condiment area doing nothing in particular. Appears to have regulars from the neighborhood and the outside seating area is kept pretty clean, even though it's hopping.

Handy, well lit, bodega offering good coffee, yummy sandwiches and freshly squeezed orange juice, souvenirs, and sunscreen. Friendly service with a smile!

Great place to grab a reasonably priced drink and bite to eat. Also a public restroom

Cooler with prepared sandwiches and salads.

This Market is excellent for the traveler. There a large variety of food, snacks and beverages. In addition there are personal care items and souvenirs. We had delicious made to order breakfast croissant sandwiches. They were very tasty and large. The service was very friendly. The market was extremely clean and well organized. I highly recommend Primo Cafe for a casual lower cost option for breakfast or lunch.

Roast beef sub lol!!!! Pathetic. I slice of roast beef, ALL BREAD. Worse sandwich ever. $10 for this???? Horrible

Roast beef sub. Lol! All bread. 1 slice of roast beef. $10. Avoid this crap hole. Seriously, all bread, all lettuce ONE slice of roast beef. Worst sandwich on Miami Beach

Sweet person working up front. but by the sandwiches - we told the girl tuna sandwich and got a sandwich without tuna..... im so confused how you ask for a tuna sandwich and end up with a veggie sandwich lol.

Sandwich, and a coke for less than $15

Workers behind the counter are nice. A nice shop for souvenirs, drinks, sandwiches and more. Sandwich was a fair deal and really good! Store kept clean!

perfect for a grab and go option. We got two coffees and two croissants for 20 bucks. The croissants were huge. I was too hungry to take a pic before I started eating. Pictured is half of the chocolate and almond croissants. Service was fast. It was nice sitting outside to enjoy it. Birds were ready to take any bits we dropped but they were not bothersome.

Great quick stop breakfast or sandwich deli. Staff is amazingly nice. Good quality deli and pastries. good smoothies and lattes. Enjoy! Quick little market for what ever you need on trinkets.

A Slice of Dominican New York... Right Here on Miami Beach…read more I've been coming to Ocean Deli since 2020, and I honestly can't believe it's taken me this long to write a review. Maybe because people from New York know one universal rule: when you find a great neighborhood spot, you keep your mouth shut. You don't want your hidden gem becoming the next place where people wait in line because somebody on social media "discovered" it. Ocean Deli is one of the last authentic neighborhood delis left on Miami Beach. In a city filled with luxury hotels, trendy brunch spots, and restaurants charging resort prices for breakfast, Ocean Deli quietly does what it's been doing all along--serving great food, quickly, and at prices that still make sense. This is where the people who actually keep Miami Beach running come to eat. Hotel employees, construction workers, delivery drivers, city workers, first responders, and the locals who somehow managed to survive Miami Beach's rising cost of living. If you want to know where the real locals eat, this is it. The owner is Dominican and from the Bronx, and that New York Dominican bodega culture is written all over this place--in the best possible way. Walk through the door and you'll swear you just landed in Washington Heights or the Bronx. Bachata and merengue are playing in the background. The smell of fresh café con leche fills the room. The grill is always working. Conversations bounce around the deli like you've walked into someone's neighborhood hangout instead of a business. The ladies behind the counter are unmistakably Dominican--friendly, hardworking, efficient, and they keep the line moving without ever losing that neighborhood feel. The sandwiches are outstanding. Fresh bread, generous portions, and made the way sandwiches are supposed to be made. No unnecessary gimmicks. No tiny portions with fancy names. The café con leche deserves its own mention. Strong, smooth, and exactly what coffee should taste like. If you've spent any time in New York's Dominican neighborhoods, you'll recognize it immediately. The Dominican breakfast and lunch plates are equally impressive. Simple, authentic, flavorful comfort food that fills you up instead of emptying your wallet. Speaking of wallets... Ocean Deli might be one of the best values left on Miami Beach. While restaurants a few blocks away are charging you like they flew the eggs in first class, Ocean Deli is quietly serving quality food at prices that remind you Miami Beach wasn't always built just for tourists. Just know what you're walking into......This isn't a sit-down restaurant. You walk in, place your order, take your receipt to the register and pay. Then you wait a few minutes while the grill works its magic. When they call your order, you grab your food and you're on your way. That's how it's done here. Fast, efficient, and without all the unnecessary fanfare. Ocean Deli isn't trying to sell you an "artisan culinary experience." It's selling great sandwiches, authentic Dominican food, excellent café con leche, fair prices, and a little piece of Dominican-York right here on Miami Beach. Some places sell an image....... Ocean Deli sells breakfast and lunch. After six years of coming here, I wouldn't have it any other way. Just do yourself one favor: when you find yourself surrounded by tourists paying resort prices for an average meal, remember there's still one place on Miami Beach where the locals go. Now You Know

The deli food was so flavorful I wish I was more schooled on Cuban cuisine. Had some type of plantain mash and it was amazing! 10/10 Empanadas were also full of flavor best I've had on my trip here!

Great place to stop for a quick bite on a beach day or when you're not feeling up for a full meal…read more Sandwiches are large and taste great! Plenty of customization options. A counter seat is hit or miss but nice to have available instead of only being a walk up window. Skip the smoothies. They're watery and thus not very filling or flavorful. You're better off getting a sandwich (again, as this was my 2nd visit) or going somewhere else for a smoothie.

Just one block away from South Beach on 14th Street, this place is a very popular fast food spot…read more Since South Beach restaurants are either expensive (20% gratuity even for a party of two) or extremely crowded, we walked one block inland and found this place. From a distance, it looks like a food truck, but it's actually a full setup designed to look that way. Even in the scorching heat, there was a line--but it moved quickly. Their menu has everything. Think of it as a Subway style setup, but with smoothies, tropical ingredients, and lots of fresh options. Now the main part...We ordered- Chicken Mix Baguette Tuna Baguette Am I the only one who found it just okay? At Subway, at least they toast the bread for a bit. Here, I genuinely struggled with the hard bread--it was tough to chew. Also, the meats were cold, which I'm not used to. I knew that beforehand, but still wanted to try this hyped spot. They have about 5-7 bar style stools for seating, but in the humidity, it's not the most comfortable experience. Freshness (smoothies & ingredients): 5/5 Overall taste & experience: 3/5 Or maybe we're just spoiled by the big fast food chains?

It's been a while since I've gone to a restaurant and the service and food quality was so amazing that it literally made me stop in my tracks but here we are! I started with a hot mocha latte. I am a coffee snob and this drink was made to perfection! Absolutely delicious and I didn't want the cup to end! It was the perfect balance of smoothness and warmth and it was sweetened perfectly! For breakfast, I decided to get the mushroom toast and it was amazing! I was skeptical about the ricotta addition but it was spread on the toast like butter, very plentiful and tasty! That along with the other ingredients used made it taste exceptional! Perfect price point too! I was more than satisfied! Last but not least the service by host staff and waiters was top tier. Very attentive and lots of smiles! They genuinely seemed happy to have me and treated me like a guest in their home. I genuinely can't wait to come back and try everything on the menu! Thank you for an amazing experience!
