The food (and coffee) here are consistently excellent, which is why we end up having breakfast here almost every day when we stay at the Edition. The build-your-own omelet is the go-to, it's huge, and comes with potatoes, toast, and an acidic salad. A full breakfast for sure. However, my absolute favorite is the avocado toast with smoked salmon. It's easily the best version I've had anywhere--perfect avo, hearty toast, and super fresh smoked salmon. The rest of the menu is strong too, so feel free to deviate if eggs and salmon aren't your thing. Most mornings we grab breakfast to go and head straight to the pool to grab our favorite chairs, but on a rainy morning it's a comfortable place to sit and start the day slowly. And definitely check out the ginger shots and fresh juices in the cooler. They are from a local Miami company and are impossible to find anywhere outside southern FL. read more

Brunch was fantastic! I enjoyed the breakfast sandwich and my friends had the chia bowl. You can also enjoy a buffet for $55 if you'd prefer. The staff was friendly and professional. The restaurant was clean and had a light airy atmosphere. There is indoor and outdoor seating. It was a little pricey, but to be expected on the beach. Elevated casual hotel dining. A great new American breakfast/lunch place. Clean, chic interior with great food and excellent service. Our drinks were always full and our waitress didn't miss a beat. My omelette was French style and done very well. We also got the burrata appetizer and the grouper sandwich, which were also high quality. I think this is one of those places where you can order pretty much anything on the menu and expect a great dish. This is my second time coming, with the first time being back in 2021, and was impressed the quality remained as high as it is. I was attracted to this place because of the high yelp rating and location. It is located inside The Miami Beach Edition Hotel. There is a small outdoor eating area facing the street, but we ate inside. It is a little pricy but I liked it so much I came again the next day. The first day, I had salmon cooked perfectly. It was seated on top of mashed potatoes with a ring of rich truffle sauce. On the second day, I decided to try the hummus with vegetables and pitas and made the mistake of also ordering the Shrimp Salad (too much food). The view is nothing special but the food was incredible. We got drinks and had the heart of lettuce salad, crunchy salmon sushi and broccoli dip with everything pita bread. It was all amazing! Would highly recommend coming here for appetizers and drinks before dinner. Drinks were around $17 and the food was reasonably for south beach prices. Didn't mind paying for the taste bad quality. The atmosphere of the hotel is very calming. The fragrance in the lobby is so inviting. The market place has a good variety of entrees and includes a buffet style alternative which works if you're looking for variety. This time around we did a la carte and tried the omelette with goat cheese and avocado toast. The omelette was decent and had a good side salad and tasty potatoes. The avocado toast with poached eggs unfortunately was not a hit. It tasted bland, you can only taste the salt. The flavor falls flat. The pastries looked good but by the time we got to order what we wanted they were out of it. I guess we'll try it on our next visit if we come again. read more

Covid safe terrace that gets gorgeous sun but is sheltered from the occasional thunderstorm. Particularly want to highlight the must try dishes (I want to say maybe Nikkei influenced?): 1) crispy salmon sushi and 2) tuna tartare. Both very good and I enjoyed the way the salmon sushi has a hard to describe and very tasty "chipotle emulsion" hidden from view and the tuna tartare had pieces of ginger hidden from view. Came here for a pizza making class and wow was it fun! There were a total of 4 of us who learned how to make two of their signature pizzas. The Market team made the experience both fun and educational. The venue is bright and airy with different areas focused on pizza, sushi, charcuterie, etc. We were told they host different classes focused on different areas. Matthew our server was most excellent, he was very nice and took really good care of our table party of eight for brunch. We are thankful to Matthew, for sure restored my faith in the service industry in Miami. He was very attentive and made our experience just more special. Food was A++ as well all the ladies ate every drop of their food. I kept it simple since im training for a fitness competition and got the egg white omelette. I requested it to be made without oils and made just like I Would have made at home. They came exactly as I wanted and tasted just like I made it. I had full trust that the macros were correct. Atmosphere was so beautiful so calming. It was a rainy Sunday so we did not get to sit outside but the inside was very elegant. The loml and I stayed at the Edition hotel so we had breakfast at Market everyday. The cafe is really cool and I really liked that they had Colombe coffee, however the food and service were meh. The only time the service was great was when our server was DJ and the only dish I enjoyed was the poached egg with mushrooms. That's the best dish there IMO. I tried the whole egg omelet, vanilla chia bowl, and one more. The loml tried several too and agreed that the poached eggs with mushrooms were really good. I really enjoyed the latte and we both loved the croissant. I liked the regular latte more than the vanilla colombe latte, probably because I prefer almond milk. I tried the strawberry tart and it was so good. We came in for lunch on our last day, they serve the same food as The Matador. I ordered the truffle pizza because I was really looking forward to it and it came out burnt. It was inedible I sent it back. We also got cocktail shrimp, which was okay and the loml ordered salmon. His salmon was pretty overcooked too, but he thought it was okay. I also ordered the salmon roll, which was fried. I didn't like it. I honestly expected this place to be better. Even the food by the pool/beach was way better. If it wasn't convenient for us to go downstairs and eat, I wouldn't have eaten here. read more

Such a beautiful space to have breakfast and coffee, that it's easy to overlook just how good the food is here. I had the huevos rancheros and though it wasn't a large portion I felt pretty satisfied by the end of it. My mind was pretty shattered from a weeklong bender so the Americanos I had definitely helped lift me out of the gutter. Service at this hotel is top notch, from the valet to the staff... you enter to the hotel cafeteria where this restaurant is located... well decorated and nice ambiance... their food is very good... my wife had the kale salad that was very good and the egg was cooked to absolute perfection!! My partner and I ate here twice today. First, we had breakfast. I had the egg white omelet which was very good; the potatoes that came with it were delicious also (although they were labeled patatas bravas so I was a little disappointed they didn't come with the usual delicious sauce!). We returned again for a late, very light dinner. My partner got the tuna tartare and I got the salmon sushi. We shared the sundae for dessert. My partner was happy with his tuna tartare, but I thought the sauce overpowered the actual tuna. My salmon sushi was unique and yummy. The sundae was good too; the candies popcorn with the caramel ice cream is a nice flavor combo. The disappointing part of dinner was the service; it was very slow. I know it's the end of the night, but I don't want to feel forgotten about. That piece of the experience, especially at a nicer place, is what pushed it down to 4 stars. read more

Disgraceful breakfast for a 5 star hotel and a Jean Georges restaurant. The omelette was gross and served lukewarm. The dressing with the salad was gross as it just made the arugula soggy. The previous day it took 45 minutes of waiting at the table to get our food and everything also came lukewarm. A terrible place to eat. They are a complete mess. The staff gives the impression to run around without knowing what they're doing. They charged us for things we didn't get, including a pour over coffee that I ordered and that they came back 20 minutes later saying "we don't have pour over coffee" (to be clear it's on their menu). And worst of all we told them we had an allergy to vegetable oil and needed food to be cooked with olive oil. They said ok. Brought the food and I asked again if it was cooked with olive oil and the waiter lied to my face. We both had an indigestion after our meal with constant burping the whole day. read more

A very enjoyable breakfast, despite the ambiance on the outside patio being poor due to traffic noise from the street. Nothing to be done about it but next visit I will opt to dine inside. One other small complaint: the WiFi was terrible. William provided excellent service: friendly, helpful and prompt--even though my table behind a pillar was probably away from the kitchen as very far as possible. In many establishments this table would tend to be forgotten by the servers. I never felt that way during this meal. A particular standout: they offer a fantastic range of coffees and modes of preparation. The choices include drip, pour over, French press, as well as cold pressed and the usual selections of espresso drinks. The frittata was very good and came in a large portion. It's difficult to believe it contained only three eggs. Two people could easily split it. I recommend Market for breakfast. It's one of the rare instances in which it's worth a visit even if not staying in the hotel. read more

Delicious pizza and burgers w fries!! That's all I ordered during my stay at the Miami Edition. Pizza was the prosciutto and Gruyere cheese. Someone had recommended it to me, I took their advice and enjoyed the pizza. Someone else ordered the burger with fries. It was so good, I had to order it the next day for lunch. I like the open concept and view of the kitchen from the restaurant. The desert bar is cute with ice cream and every single topping you can find. I didn't have room for desert. :( read more
