Egg Bagel with Home Fried Potato
Brenda G.

Recently been on a bagel kick, which brought me across this place! A small shop with cozy feels and friendly staff members! Offering not only breakfast but also some lunch dishes at great prices. Kept it simple and went with egg, cheese and potatoes on an everything bagel. All the ingredients tasted fresh and the bagel was not chewy. This was my first time trying Thai tea per shop owners recommendation, and ill be honest it took a while to grow on me but now I actually can't stop thinking about it. They also have a Thai coffee which sounds very interesting. They do sell out of certain bagels quickly so make sure to arrive as early as you can. Overall i had a great experience and will be adding this spot and the spicy chicken shop in the same complex to the rotation since the shop owner said that they also own that, im sure the food will also be great!

It's super delicious here! The service is amazing and the staff are very welcoming and kind, I love the free ice water as well (yes it filtered!) I love the bagels and how much food you get for 10$ !? 100% worth coming would recommend

Upon entry, there was a customer or two ahead of me at both my last and this visit. Greeted at the register, we ordered bagels, an omelet, a side of eggs, and an iced Thai tea. We opted to dine outside since it is small and quaint. I was surprisingly happy to find potatoes accompanied my omelet. The pizza bagels did not have pepperoni as I expected, however they are loaded with other meats and cheese. Plans to return with hopes the basil chicken is offered again as a Today's Special.

You know the saying, The Early Bird Gets The Worm, well that's true for this spot. Here's the story Came in at 11:30am on a Saturday. I just finished sitting in another establishment in the same shopping plaza for 2.5 hours so I famished. I ordered a bagel breakfast sandwich with egg, turkey, and cheese. There were only three options left for a bagel. Onion, plain & whole wheat. I chose whole wheat and two bagels with cream cheese to go. The price about $18. Once I got to my spot, less than 5min away my sandwich was still hot. That's a good thing. Here's the bad, zero flavor. It looked & tasted like a neighborhood mama sandwich. You know it's meant & made with the best of intentions, but it lacks a wow factor. I ate it because I was hungry & it was probably the only time I had in the day to eat. After I was done, I was filled with regret and definitely with a decision in my head that I was not about to go back. Aww Fresno Bagel, you had so much promise. The signs reads that it was established in 1988. That's 26 years, someone please tell me what to order if I do decide to go back because all I was filled with was disappointment. Not insta worthy. Until next time.

great place !!!

My wife recently took me to Fresno bagel and stated that she'd been going here since her high school days. She ordered a dozen cream cheese and everything bagels for her office and I got myself an breakfast bagel with everything on it. It's called the "All in one" sandwich. I got mine on a egg bagel with egg, cheese, and ham. They do offer bacon and sausage as well. My egg bagel was super soft and delicious. This place is pretty busy around 8 AM, but they still had our order done and ready within about 10 minutes. Once we left the line was already halfway out the door and I believe once they sell out, they're done for the day. If you haven't been to this Fresno staple yet, what are you waiting for?

Favorite bagel spot in town. Bagels are fresh and they use real ingredients to make their all in one breakfast bagel sandwiches.

Availibilty of seating and & decor in dining area as a whole were good. Service was okay, but unfortunately not timely, and well managed in my opinion. I felt that to-go/pick up orders were prioritized over in house eating orders. As shown in photos, they were not busy when we were awaiting our order. As I went up to the counter to check on our food, they said it was "coming up right now." Then, they couldn't quite locate the sandwich. It was placed in another area, and was wrapped so tightly, upon opening, it was quite mushy. It did need to get remade. The Meaty Cali and Strawberry Bagel with Strawberry Cream Cheese were great. Though it was following a lunch rush, there were many areas needing attention in the dining area such as dirty tables and seats, no napkins available, and no ice in the beverage machine. Again, I needed to go ask for items, and though there were 4+ employees behind the counter, with no other customers placing orders inside, there wasn't any employee proactively tending to the dining area with restocking or wiping tables. I love this place, for nostalgia reasons, flavors, and comfort. I hope the next time I visit, customer care and service is also extended to in house dining guests just as much as the to-go/pick up orders focus.

The outside had that light golden crust with a slight crispness, and the inside was soft yet perfectly chewy -- not doughy at all. The shop itself was clean and well kept, and service was quick. It wasn't very busy when I went, probably because it was before peak hours, which made the experience even smoother. Overall, a really solid bagel spot and I'd definitely come back.

This is gonna be a fun one... GET READY TO READ!!!!…read more So, I work in the Fig Garden area and accidentally ordered online at THIS location instead for lunch (smdh)... In a way, I'm glad I had to drive to this one. It made me appreciate the Fig Garden one a lot more and also pity the workers at this First location. Why? Because the person who we assumed was the manager on that shift (we might be wrong and she might just be bossy) seemed insufferable. The younger gentlemen working the counter at the register greeted us (friendly) and answered my question as to where I would pick up my online order. We went and stood there, didn't make a fuss or anything but the same young man happened to mention to this woman (who had her back to us) that we were here to pick up our order.......... instead of turning around to acknowledge us and say something a normal person in customer service would say like "hi, I'm sorry, I'll be right with you" we heard her say "okay, THEY CAN WAIT." My friend and I looked at each other and immediately were put off by it. It's not only that she said that, it's in the manner and the tone that she said it (just imagine a bitchy tone and you got it)... and she was very rude to him for giving her a heads up whilst she continued to not be aware of her surroundings.... there was another man waiting to pick up as well. Once she finally decided we were worthy of her time, she handed me my order and gave us the fakest "have a nice day"... I didn't believe for one second she really wished I had a nice day. Anyway, so we sat down to eat real fast before heading back to work. This same delightful woman comes to fill up a drink (we were near the dispensers)... as she's walking away, back towards the counter, she shouts out to one of the other employees something along the lines of "*insert name* AT SOME POINT IMA NEED YOU TO COME PICK UP THESE [BASKETS?]" I can't remember what exactly but I assumed the basket/trays people left after finishing their meals there. Why she didn't just take it herself when she saw them? Idk, power trip maybe. But again, it's the TONE in which she speaks to these people. My friend and I both looked at each other said said "I don't like her" in unison. Just bad vibes altogether. Oh, you thought that was it?? When we were heading out we could hear her complaining and giving the other employees a hard time again... VERY LOUDLY for the customers to hear too... "I'm gonna need you guys to pick it up. We're looking really bad right now..." yadiyada. No, lady! YOU were making it bad. She really made the experience feel very unwelcoming. All you could hear is that nagging (bitchy) voice in the background... idk, she could've handled it differently. I would not go back here for the sole reason that she might be there again. The other workers didn't look very happy with her as well-- I mean, who would when she's constantly ridiculing you? As for the food? Oh, it's great. Granted, it sat a while because I did not expect to order from the wrong location (my fault) and also, they prepped it very quickly! Kudos for that! I was told 15mins when ordering online, and got a text within a couple minutes that it was ready already! I got the Veggie Chili Crisp, btw. All 3 Chili Crisp options are fire. So, yeah, food = good. Lady = bad.

The shop is clean and organized they have a hot coffee bar on the side with all types of coffee to pick your perfect cup of joe. The only thing I would not speak highly of was the service. It was our first time here and right after we arrived it got extremely busy. The cashier didn't really care to explain what the differences were in the bagels or to give any recommendations she really just wanted us to hurry up and order which is understandable we just went with what sounded good.
