Egg Bagel with Home Fried Potato
    Brenda G.

Recently been on a bagel kick, which brought me across this place! A small shop with cozy feels and friendly staff members! Offering not only breakfast but also some lunch dishes at great prices. Kept it simple and went with egg, cheese and potatoes on an everything bagel. All the ingredients tasted fresh and the bagel was not chewy. This was my first time trying Thai tea per shop owners recommendation, and ill be honest it took a while to grow on me but now I actually can't stop thinking about it. They also have a Thai coffee which sounds very interesting. They do sell out of certain bagels quickly so make sure to arrive as early as you can. Overall i had a great experience and will be adding this spot and the spicy chicken shop in the same complex to the rotation since the shop owner said that they also own that, im sure the food will also be great!

Upon entry, there was a customer or two ahead of me at both my last and this visit. Greeted at the register, we ordered bagels, an omelet, a side of eggs, and an iced Thai tea. We opted to dine outside since it is small and quaint. I was surprisingly happy to find potatoes accompanied my omelet. The pizza bagels did not have pepperoni as I expected, however they are loaded with other meats and cheese. Plans to return with hopes the basil chicken is offered again as a Today's Special.

It's super delicious here! The service is amazing and the staff are very welcoming and kind, I love the free ice water as well (yes it filtered!) I love the bagels and how much food you get for 10$ !? 100% worth coming would recommend

You know the saying, The Early Bird Gets The Worm, well that's true for this spot. Here's the story Came in at 11:30am on a Saturday. I just finished sitting in another establishment in the same shopping plaza for 2.5 hours so I famished. I ordered a bagel breakfast sandwich with egg, turkey, and cheese. There were only three options left for a bagel. Onion, plain & whole wheat. I chose whole wheat and two bagels with cream cheese to go. The price about $18. Once I got to my spot, less than 5min away my sandwich was still hot. That's a good thing. Here's the bad, zero flavor. It looked & tasted like a neighborhood mama sandwich. You know it's meant & made with the best of intentions, but it lacks a wow factor. I ate it because I was hungry & it was probably the only time I had in the day to eat. After I was done, I was filled with regret and definitely with a decision in my head that I was not about to go back. Aww Fresno Bagel, you had so much promise. The signs reads that it was established in 1988. That's 26 years, someone please tell me what to order if I do decide to go back because all I was filled with was disappointment. Not insta worthy. Until next time.

    great place !!!

My wife recently took me to Fresno bagel and stated that she'd been going here since her high school days. She ordered a dozen cream cheese and everything bagels for her office and I got myself an breakfast bagel with everything on it. It's called the "All in one" sandwich. I got mine on a egg bagel with egg, cheese, and ham. They do offer bacon and sausage as well. My egg bagel was super soft and delicious. This place is pretty busy around 8 AM, but they still had our order done and ready within about 10 minutes. Once we left the line was already halfway out the door and I believe once they sell out, they're done for the day. If you haven't been to this Fresno staple yet, what are you waiting for?

Favorite bagel spot in town. Bagels are fresh and they use real ingredients to make their all in one breakfast bagel sandwiches.

I visited this location with friends for breakfast bagel sandwiches (what they call bEGGelwiches)…read more It's a casual dining place with indoor seating only. We ordered via a kiosk and we picked up at the counter when everything was ready. I ordered the Oh! Chorizo! sandwich with an iced vanilla latte. It was late morning so, sadly, some of the bagel choices were no longer available but I somehow snagged the last sourdough bagel for my sandwich. These were not the thick & solid bagels I'm used to but, rather, thinner and more soft...and much more tasty! My sandwich contained two eggs, chorizo, bacon, hash browns, avocado, pepperjack cheese, and chipotle aioli. It was messy and incredibly delicious. I mean, look at those ingredients - how could it not be? I was also surprised at how good my iced vanilla latte was. Good vanilla flavor with an accompanying coffee buzz. If I lived in Fresno I'd be here at least once a week for breakfast.

Availibilty of seating and & decor in dining area as a whole were good. Service was okay, but unfortunately not timely, and well managed in my opinion. I felt that to-go/pick up orders were prioritized over in house eating orders. As shown in photos, they were not busy when we were awaiting our order. As I went up to the counter to check on our food, they said it was "coming up right now." Then, they couldn't quite locate the sandwich. It was placed in another area, and was wrapped so tightly, upon opening, it was quite mushy. It did need to get remade. The Meaty Cali and Strawberry Bagel with Strawberry Cream Cheese were great. Though it was following a lunch rush, there were many areas needing attention in the dining area such as dirty tables and seats, no napkins available, and no ice in the beverage machine. Again, I needed to go ask for items, and though there were 4+ employees behind the counter, with no other customers placing orders inside, there wasn't any employee proactively tending to the dining area with restocking or wiping tables. I love this place, for nostalgia reasons, flavors, and comfort. I hope the next time I visit, customer care and service is also extended to in house dining guests just as much as the to-go/pick up orders focus.

After I gave him my full name again, he finally found my order. I brushed that off and went home, only to realize the order was incorrect. I had requested extra schmear on one of the bagels, but it had no schmear at all. Since I had already driven home, I decided it would be easier to return and have it corrected rather than call. When I got back, I told the employee at the front that my online order was missing the schmear on one of the bagels. She immediately directed me to the gentleman who prepared my order and said, "Can you help him out?" in a way that made me feel like I was inconveniencing them. He asked what the issue was, so I repeated that the bagel was missing schmear. He reached behind him, grabbed a side of schmear, tossed it into a bag, and said, "Is that all?" There was no apology or acknowledgment of the inconvenience. Overall, it was an awful experience from start to finish. The order was wrong, and the attitude from the staff made the situation even worse.

Therefore, we were excited to see there was one in Fresno. Unfortunately this experience fell short. Although it is a franchise it seems this location is not up to par. The wait took over 20 minutes for two bagels. Compare that to another local bagel place which shall remain unnamed that gets out your order within 5 minutes. At one point during our wait, we could smell that something was burning.... not a good sign... On top of that, the amount of shmear on my Veg Out sandwich was close to nothing, and I was not even sure if they put it on it at all. The sandwich was messily assembled, and it definitely seemed like they forgot to add salt... My husband got the avocado toast-like bagel. I can't remember the name on their menu. Oh. I wish they had paper menus. I can hardly see the menu without having to get in other people's way. Anyway, so the avocado was harder than it should have been, and his was also missing salt, and he said the bagel seemed like it was a day old. On the plus side, because of all their disorganization, they gave us a bag of chips, twice. Once at the register, and once in the take-out bag... Eeks... Corporate-- please help the Fresno location come up to the standard it should be at! We will reluctantly be venturing to another bagel shop at this rate in spite of nostalgia.
