This was my first time visiting, but unfortunately, I didn't get to try anything, and I'm not sure I'll return. There were several flies inside the bagel display case I let the staff know, but that's definitely not something you want to see when deciding whether to try a new place.

    Texas Brisket Sandwich :)

I never would've thought to have brisket in a bagel because I'm just used to cream cheese or butter inside. Service was friendly and I ordered the Texas Brisket sandwich. It was pretty tasty but a little pricey. There was good amount of brisket in there and it added flavor that went well with the egg, cheddar and aioli. Next time I'm just going to stick to classic bagels with shmear so it can be more affordable.

We went to check out Einstein's a couple of weeks ago. We had two sandwiches (garden avocado egg sandwich & Maplehouse egg), two shmears, plus a vanilla creme cold brew and a smoothie. The bagels are a bit smaller than I'm used to, but they make up for it by giving you extra avocado and extra shmear within the bagel. Service at the 99 location is a little slower, but doable depending on what time you get there. The flavors are OK in my opinion.

Not bad at all as far as taste goes. It was just an unfulfilled visit. It is bagel sandwiches basically. I think it could be between a 3.5 and 4 star rating for me. Will I be back, not sure but I could seek other options. So I had the Texas Brisket with 2 eggs on a Jalapeno cheddar bagel. It was really tasty but it cost $10. Then I ordered the Avocado with one egg on an everything bagel. Cost was over $6. I believe we're at a time where everything is so expensive especially for those who have been around for a long time. Yes, I'm calling myself old in a way. Nothing was wrong really with this visit. In the end, to be fair I have to pick and choose on what I'm spending my money on. I came away still hungry from here. I think the bagels were small by comparison to a Costco bagel and for the amount of paid I should have gotten a lot more brisket. From the pics you can see it does look decent. Just know that I wasn't floored.

Ordered the bacon and egg chedder bagel x2 via DoorDash. The bagels were straight up burnt on inside. Eh.... Will not be coming back. Wanted to try something new and it slapped my cheeks harder than a Saturday night call shift.

    Small amount of cream cheese

I remember a place called Noah's bagels when I lived in Santa Barbara, so I had high hopes this place would deliver a similar fresh bagel. Granted I didn't arrive until noon, and they close at 2, but the bagel didn't taste that fresh baked to me. Honestly, I can get a softer larger bagel from the Winco bakery. I added a smear of cream cheese. There was barely any cream cheese, and the cost went up $2 for that miniscule amount. Service was slow at first because there was only 1 person taking orders and making the bagels. Soon after ordering, though, another person came out and the total wait wasn't that bad. Restaurant itself looked good and clean. On a positive note, I noticed they have an avocado toast bagel on their menu for only $5 something, only $1 more than what I paid for nonexistent cream cheese, so may be back at some point to try that.

It all looks good on paper, but are the toppings micro thick?

We swung by this location at 8:30 AM hoping it would be less busy than the first time I stopped by. There was still a line which backed up to the door but thankfully wasn't outside in the cold. This location absolutely needs another cashier as the assembly line employees are without orders to start making for too long a period between customer orders... The line moves SLOWLY as people have a lot of questions about the menu and how things work. Not that difficult folks... The bottleneck is the order taking...and we were in line for over 10 minutes waiting to get up to the counter. Having reviewed the menu PRIOR to coming, we never hold a line up.... The tables were dirty and most of the carafes of coffee were out. At 8:30 in the morning, this seems like something that should be thought about (and avoided) earlier. Making coffee and wiping a table shouldn't take long. I dislike the fact that everything is bagged and wrapped WAY beyond what is necessary as we were eating there... Just hate waste and unnecessary for eating at a table. Paper costs are expensive. A tray would be nice. We liked the breakfast sandwiches...and personally thought it was much better than Uncle Harry's, which I don't even care for anyway. I got the brisket breakfast sandwich which, while tasty, was dripping and soggy with water...literally dripping off the bagel and soggy the bottom portion of the bagel. If I were to speculate as to why this is, I would have to guess that they pulled the pre-cooked egg out of a water bath and did not bother to blot it off. WAY too much water in the wrapper. The sami was good but could have been much better. Production is important. One of the line people should be floating between wiping tables and they need to be on a regular cycle to keep the coffee filled. There's no excuse for being out of most of the varieties. No doubt this happens become the manager is hunkered down taking orders. I'd eat here again and look forward to it. People should factor in the long lines and hit the menu PRIOR to going. Bottlenecks should be more easily avoided with a more flexible line and order taking ability. The restaurant itself was pleasant. The tables are NOT too crowded, it's nice and open with big windows and the temperature was perfect. Even the bathrooms were nice and clean. Next time I'll order two of the breakfast sandwiches since I'm huge and beastly. The GB3 effect! :) Don't go here for lunch or during a peak period without padding 1/2 additional hours or expecting things to move along quickly. Once you do order, the food comes out pretty quickly. Happy this lovely place has opened and upped the bagel quality/offerings in Fresno! -G

I had been eyeing this place since they announced they're opening in town. Finally had the opportunity to try since I was in the area after an MD appointment. It was almost noon. I had downloaded their app previously to look over their menu items. And reading previous reviews I didn't want to wait long. I drove and parked infront of the restaurant and ordered via the app. I ordered the All-Nighter Egg Sandwich with a cinnamon roll and a Cheddar cheese egg sandwich for my toddler. Once I checked out the app said order will be ready 15-20 mins. Decided to go in with my toddler to use their restroom. Literally after leaving the restroom I saw my order was ready at the pick up shelf. It was literally ready 3mins after I had check out, I was quite impressed. Sat down with my order and ate at the restaurant. I've had a breakfast bagel before, years ago at Uncle Harry's and at NYC both were very good. So with that said... I was actually a bit disappointed with the size and pricing of the All Nighter. The chipotle mayo was a delicious spread. The bagel was good but didn't think it was worth the $8. Cheddar cheese egg sandwich was okay too the bagel was thick, I initially got this sandwich for my toddler and I didn't see any place on the app the add a spread so it was quite plain. The cinnamon roll was eh... the bread was so thick and dry and wasn't your ordinary cinnamon roll, I'd skip it. Overall it was just an okay experience. Might have to try another item on their menu and perhaps order in person instead so I could ask questions and they can possibly customize my bagel better to my liking. They have a condiments area and self serve water. The place was fairly clean some tables just need a quick wipe down. With the app you can do mobile orders and get points and get freebies.

Bagels are my go to breakfast item so it was only right of me to give Einstein Bros a try as they're new to the area! Such a nice, clean, welcoming place. Outdoor and indoor seating available. Very spacious, open layout inside. Such a good place! I was happy to see it was pretty busy, I went on a Saturday around 11 AM. Although there was a good amount of people, service was quick! I didn't wait any longer than 5 minutes after putting my order in. Very good bagel, sandwich and cream cheese options + a few burritos and other breakfast item options. I went with an egg and cheddar Asiago bagel-which, delish. I would recommend doing 2 eggs rather than one. Probably will be back soon!

This place just opened up and we were so excited to try it, we love a good bagel place. From the moment we walked in the staff was so friendly and helpful! While we were waiting in line someone told us to ask them if we have any questions and was super nice. While ordering the staff went through A-LOT of options and it was nice to be able to customize anything we wanted. It's very modern and hip with a nice vibe. It was a little busy, but the wait didn't take too long. People were working, but keep in mind there are no outlets and it closes at 2 p.m. Now the food, yummmy!! Maybe it's the type of bagel we got, but they're a little on the small side, but still super tasty. To be fair we ordered bagel sandwiches that were on the "healthier" side, but still. If you're in the Fresno area I recommend trying it out!

We have love coming here, we miss that Costco used to sell their branded bagels a long time ago (I know I've aged myself here). But since we found a handful of these chains all over Fresno we have been bringing our son and his girlfriend with us on our food outings. The service has always been excellent even when they are super busy. The ambiance is nice and bit small in terms of dining area but we love they have dining tables outside with umbrellas for the sun. Really love coming here and enjoying a nice breakfast with family.

The extra cream cheese that was taken off my bagel and I still had a lot on the actual bagel. This is too much and such a waste

Learned my lesson, I would assume these workers had to get food handlers cards but I walked in watched them wear the same gloves to mess with the register then touch bagels and then touch the door mess with the register again and the go right back to touching bagels...cross contamination is wild.

I've been a few times, and I remember going for the first time about 9 years ago. I remember peering off of Herndon and what a cute red building that looks awfully busy and had a gravel parking lot. Back then it felt very hard to eat here, you had to get here early before the lot filled which obviously means the food is good. Today we were met with kind service and were immediately sat in the out door seating. Which we didn't mind because it was fresh. All the staff members were incredibly kind to me, and I really appreciated the nice compliments and overall vibe this establishment offers Breakfast menu is both American and Mexican inspired which is a plus for this bilingual gal, We stared off with a Mermaid Mimosa for the birthday boy and a Bloody Mary for me. Red Apple gets straight to business as I'd say their drinks are worth the price as they are poured well. I'm a Benedict girl, I went ahead and ordered the smoked salmon Benedict which came with some flavor potatoes. The bene was 10/10 I felt I could really taste a high quality salmon and the egg was perfectly poached. Birthday boy ate the Country fried steak at my recommendation. Everyone was so nice, Jessica…read moreespecially was super attentive, our coffees were always full, our food came out at a decent time and it was still nice and hot and she was so friendly throughout our time here, so Jessica if you ever see this, Thank you so much, we appreciate you! We happened to be in the area today with a failed trip to Lithia Ford for a car repair. We both were hungry and needed to choose between breakfast or Mexican food, we flipped a coin and the coin chose breakfast. I'm glad it did, cause right when we were heading towards another breakfast spot, we made the quick decision to just choose what was nearby. It's a restaurant name we've heard of, but haven't been, so we opted to give it a try. I'm so glad we did! Because the food was amazing and the service just as much! Parking lot was full but not too crazy, that luckily came after we were seated. Inside was nicely themed to Louisiana Bayou with gators and cute signs with quotes and a big tree in the seating area with sound effects of bugs from the swamp. As soon as we walked in we were welcomed with a nice greeting from one of the busy waitresses who let us know we would be seated in a moment. Our server Jessica came up with a smile and a warm welcome and had us follow her to our booth. We both started off with coffee and browsed the menu, this menu had some usual fair but definitely stayed in the theme of the restaurant with Louisiana cuisine, like andouille sausage as a breakfast meat choice. I went with their "Hucks Platter" which is 3 eggs anyway you want, choice of potatoes or hashbrowns and you can choose between a couple varieties of meats, steak, chicken fried steak, sausage, bacon and andouille. It also comes with a choice of side, being toast, homemade biscuit or their huckleberry bread? I played it safe and went with the white toast. I also went with the bacon cause I love me some bacon! It was hickory smoked and my goodness it was cooked to perfection! My whole meal was cooked perfectly! I truly appreciate the cooking staff for doing such an amazing job during a busy morning. Jess chose the Banana Foster French Toast and my goodness! It looked just as good if not better than the picture. It was loaded, thick and comes with a side of eggs and your choice of meat. She loved the French toast, she's never had Bananas Foster before but she said it was decadent, sweet and had a nice caramelized flavor. Would recommend and also get it again! We paid, "with tip" around $57, which isn't bad for most breakfast spots now a days. Especially when you're getting this kind of food quality and service. We never went without a fresh hot cup of coffee and a nice check in from Jess or one of the other servers to pick up a plate or ask us how we're doing. I do apologize for no pictures, when the food came out, it looked so good we just dug right in! We both would absolutely come back and eat here again if we're in the area or back in Fresno looking for a breakfast spot. If you're in and or from here, you should definitely make this your go-to breakfast spot!

The food did take a while to get to us but I ordered an appetizer and that did come fast so it held us over and honestly, I wasn't holding it against them. It was so packed. The server was very nice. I ordered a Cajun omelette and we also had the fried okra. My husband had the Riverboat omelette. Both were very good. The biscuit that I had with the omelette was fresh and hot and a really good size. The okra came with two different dipping sauces. The restaurant has a nice vibe inside. Love this place and can't wait to come back again.

Very late review, 2 months late…read more I went with my niece and a couple friends one Saturday morning. No reservation so we waited a good amount of time but it wasn't so long that it was unbearable. Very cute waiting area. I didn't expect it to look as... modern? as it did? I'm not sure what I expected it to look like but it was nice inside. Staff was suuuper friendly. Every single one we spoke to. Considering how busy they were (constant flow of traffic/customers)... I appreciate that they can still smile and make you feel welcomed. I ordered the OG French Toast, my niece got the Bacon, Egg, and Cheese sandwich on a Croissant. I can't remember what my friends ordered. Portions are very good. We could have easily split a plate (my niece and I) and be okay. Classic American breakfast. Everything was good/satisfying. We all enjoyed our meals. I also got their Brown Butter Iced Coffee-- saw one of the guys that worked there drinking one behind the counter and asked what it was, lol. I can't say it was the best coffee drink I've ever had but it was still pretty good. Not strong though. Though I've written a raving review, when it comes down to the food, it's not the best breakfast I've had around Fresno. It would not be a first choice for me personally but I also wouldn't mind coming back if my friends wanted to. Plus, there's so much more to try on their menu so it's not fair to judge overall food off one visit. For now, they are a solid 4.
