Very chic and trendy great place for photo ops catching up with a friend or having a date night. I had the sirloin fajitas for lunch. We tried the corn and flour tortillas. I was super impressed by the quality of all the food you could tell that the tortillas were made from scratch and the food was prepared with love. The atmosphere was a vibe. Waterfall outside for cute photos definitely loved it. The Service was on point. All of the servers were very knowledgeable, helpful and left us wanting for nothing kept the skinny margaritas flowing. They were fresh tangy and delightful. 10 out of 10. I was pleasantly surprised by the mole sauce. It tasted authentic, freshly, homemade with all the original ingredients. I do wish there would have been more veggies and a spicy salsa. TLDR; Go here! Drinks: I went on a Tuesday night and it was busy. I ordered take out and sat at the bar while I waited for my entree.Ordered two drinks while I waited, got the one at the top of the menu and a skinny margarita and they tasted exactly the same ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ they got the job done and were fine. Food: I got the enchiladas three ways with steak. You can take the regular three sauces or choose just one if you'd like. Green sauce is the best, white sauce is pretty good, and the red mole is fine but I wish I would have swapped it out with the spicy almost (orange) sauce that comes with the seafood enchiladas. That sauce looks so good! My partner did not like the red sauce at all, again I thought it was fine just not amazing like the other two. Beans and rice are good, nothing special. Nothing wrong with the chips and salsa just run of the mill. Other thoughts: I wish I had just ate my food at the bar instead of ordering take out. They do have a brunch menu, but I went off-menu and ordered the Polo Milanesa. I was originally tempted by the ahi tuna ceviche, but I'm glad I chose the chicken. It was breaded perfectly, crispy, flavorful, and paired with an excellent poblano sauce that really made the dish. It came with red rice and a refreshing cucumber salad, and the presentation was on point. My friend ordered the Mexico City chilaquiles from the brunch menu and really enjoyed them. The coffee was solid, too. We didn't try dessert since the menu was limited, and while we weren't drinking, the cocktail menu looked great. p.s. Maria's is on another level! We had such a fantastic experience. We were lucky enough to find a table without a reservation, and from the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel right at home. Everyone was attentive and kind, and our server, Jackson, was outstanding. He walked us through the menu, offered recommendations, and every single one turned out to be spot-on. We started with the chicken soup, and we were not prepared for how special it would be. It came with tender chicken meatballs--something completely new for me--and they were absolutely delicious. The vegetables were cooked to perfection: not too soft, not too firm. Honestly, it was one of the best soups we've had in a long time. Next came the mole, and that dish was like stepping into a time machine. The flavors carried me straight back home to Guanajuato. It's served with two generous pieces of chicken, grilled first for extra depth, then smothered in a sweet, chocolatey mole sauce. In a brilliant modern touch, Maria's pairs the dish with vegetables in escabeche--genius! Now, I'm not usually a chips-and-salsa person, but I had to try theirs. To my surprise, they were excellent--nothing like the bland, canned salsa you find in most so-called "Mexican" restaurants. This was fresh, flavorful, and truly little spicy. If I had one small suggestion, it would be about the music. Reggaetón doesn't really reflect the heart of Mexico. I think the atmosphere would be even richer with traditional Mexican sounds--bohemian, trio, or old classics that carry the soul of the culture. We've already decided to drive two hours next month to celebrate my birthday at Maria's. That alone should answer the question: do I recommend this place--the food, the people, the whole experience? The margs are strong! The salsa was good and spicy but the chips were like hard cardboard. The service was fine, no problem, but the food was just so-so. Maria's was something to look forward to when the old steakhouse moved, but i was sorely disappointed. Maria's "hot sauce", tasted like they opened up a can of tomato paste and added some water and salt to it. Had no flavor or texture; possibly the worst sauce at a restaurant we ever tasted. Presentation of the meals were nice, and my husband's meal was ok. I however, ordered an entrée that included fish, and the fish had clearly gone bad. It had a really gross consistency and even worse flavor. I was highly disappointed as I really wanted to like this place because it looked cute. The aesthetics of the restaurant are on point however the atmosphere is not great in that they did not take into consideration any sound absorption when designing. They pack so many tables into small spaces that it gets unbearably loud for dinner. Not a great place to go on a date. The service was OK, but nothing spectacular, and it is the main reason for the one star rating. While the waiters were nice, it took so long to get any attention, especially in light of my meal being completely bad. By the time they came back to check on us, my husband was half way done through his food, and was sharing his meal with me. Additionally, the only reason we aren't giving it a second chance is the valet service. Parking used to be free here. Tell me why in the world you would charge customers to valet their cars that your valet parks only a few feet from the entrance, while consequentially blocking ALL parking spots and forcing your customers that opt to park themselves to walk from much further spaces down the street? Makes no rational sense, right up there with tipping for fast food. So glad Quince arrived! read more

I went with a few friends for dinner and we were seated promptly. Our server came over immediately to offer water. He was really great throughout our dinner as he was attentive, but not overbearing. He gave great recommendations too! The menu had a nice variety of options, so everyone will be able to find something they like. The complimentary chips and salsa were fantastic too. Our entrees were served quickly and everything was hot and fresh. Our drinks were also never empty! The restaurant has a great vibe and is sparkling clean. I ordered the seafood enchiladas, which was packed with a generous portion of fresh, high quality seafood. I appreciated three separate sauces and presentations. My kids ate the flauntas, which were some of the best I've had. I like that they were wider than traditional flauntas, which increased the ratio of meat to shell. We had a great time and look forward to being back. If I had to leave negative comments, I have two. First, my cappuccino was slightly burnt. I would recommend they source their beans differently. Tonight I went back to Maria's after more than a year of staying away because of the previous negative experiences I had- nothing with the food but it was the sour customer service and made me leave. How ever I am Happy to announce they have a new manager by the name of HUNTER who has turned everything back to its friendly environment! The food as always as delicious, drinks as well. From the get go this place was honestly delicious. It's very cute for aesthetics and visual needs. We chose that the short rib sopes alongside a full pound of shrimp fajita. The braised short rib was absolutely melt in your mouth with hints of pickles creating bright harmonious fireworks in my mouth. 10/10 would eat again. Seafood enchiladas I would go green, red, and then white being my favorite to least. They were all good and the seafood was cooked perfectly and paired super well. I ordered some crispy potatoes on the side and was definitely dipping those delicious nuggets of golden brown through the sauces. Life hack, you are definitely welcomed. Shrimp fajita; pineapples, peppers and onions oh my. Though I wasn't fan of the seasoning of the pineapple (was it taijin?) it was still tenderizing the veggies and shrimp to create plump yet succulent bites. The rice and guac provided were pretty good too. Flan and five milk cakes for dessert were definitely the best desserts I've had in a while. Flan was custardy and definitely had a nice jiggle jiggle in the middle while the five milk cakes had nice evenly moist bites with coconuts spreading through any place it could in my mouth. Overall lunch date in Fort Worth was a huge success and I'm so glad I stumbled upon this place.
