This Frickers location use to be a regular family go-to place for some wings. I have been there two times in the last month or two, and experience horrible service both times. In one particular incident, I watched as three very large families received food ahead of me. When I attempted to correct the situation, my server had basically forgotten what I ordered. I have also noticed that the Chicken Wings sauce allocation has gone down. It use to be that the wings were loaded with flavor. Now it appears that they are in conserve mode or they are trying to go with a different style or something. Both times, I ordered HOT and barely had any sauce on them. I hate to say it, but Roosters may be my go-to now! If you are corporate, I'd consider a review of this place. They certainly need some help. read more

We ate here because we have three kids and there was no wait... big mistake. The floors were disgustingly sticky throughout the whole restaurant. Even though I asked for a table and a high chair, I had to go retrieve one from across the restaurant. The food was ok but we were surprised at how high the bill was, since "kids eat free." Apparently they make up for this by nickle and diming you for everything else. The final straw was the condition of the men's bathroom. My husband took our five and six year old boys back to use it and came back saying "we're leaving now." I don't want to gross anyone out with the description but needless to say, he let the manager know it needed attention immediately. I should've known better than to order fish at a chicken strip place but they were nasty, horrible, overly deep fried parallelograms that were hard as rock. Ridiculously overpriced and awful service. All of our food came out slightly warm, and the waitress added on things that we didn't order and charged us for it. On top of it all, the bills (split between three people) were entirely switched around. I would understand if it were the middle of a rush, but we were one of three small groups in the restaurant. The food took forever to come out and when it did, it was cold. We needed refills on our water and it took forever for our waitress to check on us. When we wanted another refill on our water, we didn't even bother. For the cost of the wings, it is better just to order your food for carry out. Placed an order during our stay at home order and I was missing a wrap and 2 drinks, my wifes burger was stone cold and our pretzel bites were cold, the dipping cheese was cold and thick. I called about it and the general manager told me that I would have to take it up with door dash because they show that my order was complete. I usually don't rate place this low. I stopped in this place for business with my colleagues. The server and food fare pleasant until I orders a Long Island ice tea. It took a while for the server cane back telling me they are out of sour mix and is long for ingredients online. I didn't like the drink it came back so I asked if I can switch to a single whiskey. Then this so call manager came. Ask telling me they can't waste this much alcohol and asking why I don't like it and he insisted to make a new one instead of giving me another one. Then I saw him dumped all the drink into sink and made me a new one however it tasted no flavor no sour mix. He told me this is what you get in my place and walked away. In the area today shopping with my mom. Since we don't get up this way much, we wanted to check out a place we've never tried for lunch. Who can resist a place that claims to have the best frickin chicken?? YOU SHOULD! As soon as we walked in I thought it reminded me of our neighborhood Roosters and after receiving service, I know why it reminded me of that- the service.....oh the service. First of all, very young, hip, adorable waitress. You're cute, we get it. But never the less it's still January and you're wearing short shorts. Our food took forever and a day to recieve and after reading other reviews, this may just be their norm. Not cool. I ordered the chicken sliders with mild sauce. What I recieved was a very plain set of 4 buns and a very tiny piece of chicken, much smaller than the slider bun. I picked it up and wiggled it around; it was as thin as a White Castle slider! No cheese, no sauce, no pickles, nuffin! The waitress was very polite in bringing us "extra" sauce on the side. As far as the prices, good to average. I don't live in the Dayton area but do frequent this shopping strip a few times a year and will not be returning here when I come back. read more

Horrible but you already knew that! I worked at Frickers as a kid and loved it. For years their service has been substandard but the kitchen has bailed them out. Just left there again after picking a seat and ordering drinks for the family. After 15 minutes no drinks, no waitress so we left and went to roosters. So let's start with us walking in, it's loud. Yep it's a sports bar so we assumed that. Walked to the front and asked how long it was, cute blond hostess bats her fake eyelashes at us and says "what?" With a confused look on her face, we were wondering when WWII started obviously. After asking me my name and saying "what" 17 more times she wrote it down wrong after interrupting me 3 time in the middle of spelling my 5 letter last name. She wrote something vaguely close so moving on. Sat down and waited to be called. After 25 minutes we walked up to see how much longer the wait was to see that the hostesses were dancing up against each other. My fiancé at this point looks like he's about to lose his damn mind because there is roughly 10 tables open. So he politely asks about the wait, and the girl stops dancing to look at us and tell us we are next. What do we see? 4 other names crossed out after ours. so we stand up there 15 more minutes to be sat at one of the 10 empty tables that are dirty. When we told the hostess it was dirty she flipped her hair and walked away! When I say dirty there's visible sauce on the table and salt along with dirty napkins sitting in the window sill. Placed our order and waited 45 minutes. Food was cold, and they only brought out half. Waited an additional half hour for a cup of soup and some sauce we requested. Mediocre food. Shit service. The management at this location is helpful, but that's only because the cooks are lazy and are more interested in cleaning the kitchen at 9pm than making sure your food is warm. My most recent trip there with 5 people on a slow night resulted in a 30 minute wait for room-temperature food. I'm a local who has been going to Frickers since I was a kid and this is by far the worst location I've experienced during that 20 years. I've had to get food remade several times at this location, typically because it's just cold because the cooks wait around forever to send it out. You can't send cold food out on a hot plate bub, that's not how it works. My server was nice but the manager clearly isn't keeping track of the operation and the cooks are just plain lazy. I've never had this much trouble at the Centerville location, or any others. read more

The hostess told us some of our food was ready...waiting on the rest of the order. Over an HOUR later we were still waiting...as some of our food was placed at the hostess table (getting cold). Finally asked for a refund and all the manager could do was offer a mumbled "I'm sorry." We weren't offered anything while we waited, and management did not seem to care about the situation. Went in with a friend our servers name was Elley she was the second worst server I've ever had in my life she came over took our drink orders came back within 2 minutes to take out food orders which was pretty quick , but here's where it all goes down hill after she took our order we didn't see her again for 35 minutes then she brings out food our and it was cold as can be felt like it had been sitting on the counter on the back for a solid 15 minutes , and after she dropped the food off she never came back to the table but we could see her across the restaurant hanging out with why appeared to be her friends taking selfies and laughing and dicking off acting like she wasn't at work so needless to say she never brought us refills , but now here we at the end when she drops the check off I started a timer on my phone she came back 28 seconds after dropping the check off faster than the flash at full speed so what happened I tipped her 1 cent to let her her know that she sucked and this is why no one should ever go here read more

Visited the "new" Fricker's location on Springboro Pike in Moraine/Miamisburg OH. On a Thursday. A Thursday!!! Food was horrible. Service was minimal and the reason why Im writing this review is because of the lack of professionalism and customer service provided by the Manager on Duty, Pete Fern, formerly of the Miller Lane Fricker's location. When I politely advised him of our dissatisfaction in the fact that we had to wait an hour to be seated, once seated took about 10 minutes to get our server. Didn't get drinks for 20 more min. Order appetizer which ended coming out with our cold food about 30 min after that. We arrived around 5:30 PM and left around 9:00 PM. Once I told Pete Fern, he told me he would remove some items from my nearly $50 bill. But as I waited even longer for my bill to arrive at my table, I ended up going to the cash register to have them track down my bill. And of course, everything was still on it. I asked my very nice waitress to get Pete Fern but he blew me off. So I paid the bill and left. But I will never go to Fricker's on Springboro Pike near the Dayton Mall again because of the horrible experience provided by Pete Fern. read more
