So I am from the Columbus area and use to going to Roosters, which is basically the exact same as Fricker's. There are two brothers who worked together and they split; one owns Roosters and the other owns Fricker's. With that said, I happy to see the similarities in the menu and the same atmosphere and decor. I love watching sports and eating wings with tall beer. The service was very good, the ladies were helpful and on top of everything. The food came out quick and very hot. I ordered the Frickles (fried pickles) and nachos and cheese for an app. They were both very good and I would recommend the spicy ranch if you like that. Then, I ordered ten drummies dry with a side of hot garlic. The wings at Fricker's and Roosters are a good size and they came our perfect. They were fresh and had nice crispy, crunch to them that I like; not greasy at all. Plus, the price point at these restaurants are so great and hard to beat. Terrible. Moved into area a couple months ago and have really tried to like this place, but it's awful. Not quite sure who has been lying to the waitresses but they seem convinced they are too good for the place. I felt as though I should apologize for the place being busy because they were loaded with attitude. Just got take out today and it was terrible and the girl at the register was a complete turn off, she made me want to leave the food and the place all together. The Fricker's in Sylvania is about ten times better than this one, and that place isn't awesome, and to be honest, the wings aren't any better than Rally's. Frickers is kinda like Roosters. Sports bar, wings and other bar food, loud music, lots of screens. Met an old friend here who is vegetarian; his choice of place, but not much for him to eat. I had boneless wings in bourbon molasses sauce. A little heat, very sweet, good meat and crispy batter. We debated forever between Fricker's and BW3s tonight but decided to try Fricker's because we hadn't been to one in years and had never tried the Perrysburg one. So glad we did. The service was super fast, server was friendly and on it, and prices were much cheaper than bdubs. Also, for the price, they give you so much food. I got the original wings and they had plenty of meat on those bones. Hubby got sweet chili sauce, loved it, and I got the kicker sauce which was hot enough to satisfy and not so hot that I couldn't enjoy the flavor. Eat here about once a week. Service is as good as the waitress you get... Some great some fair. Can get crowded... but sometime that's okay. Would not recommend Tuesday night for wing special ... kids eat free and with the special wing special the place is just to crazy.... any other night not a bad place to go. Not good is an understatement for the service that I got at the Perrysburg Fricker's. I would put less than 1 star if I thought it would work. My family and I have been regulars to the Perrysburg Fricker's for many years. If we have a problem the manger would take care of it till today. The manger was an asshole that did not care. My family was there and all the kids ordered a hot dog and not only did they feel like it just came out of the fridge but it was the last thing that was brought out. They even refilled the drinks before the kids' food was done. Other people in the group got a discount except for me, like I said the manger that was on duty tonight did not care. I know what I would have done as a business owner myself would be to give the meal for free. Since the pandemic all you hear is to support small business but if this is how you treat your customers than they should just close the doors now as there is no reason for me to return to this restaurant. This is not the first thing that has happened at this restaurant, but I normally do not complain online about issues unless I am treated like dirt by a manger. The kid hired as manager should not be one and was just acting like a manger. I do want to say there were no complaints for our server, who even apologized on behalf of her manager, only issues with how we were treated by the manger after bringing it to his attention about the kids' meals. This restaurant has slowly gone down hill. They are going have to do a lot to get me back in that restaurant. I have to find a new place to hang out with friends and family. Was in desperate search for a sports bar with a big screen and sound during DA BEARS game. Glad I finally hit up Frickers! I know, I know. It's somewhat of a chain...but a great one at that. Bartenders were very friendly and did a high-five of a job making sure my beer was full at all times. Sat right in the middle of the bar in front of the giant TV screen and watched the whole game in its entirety very pleased. Tried their chicken chili...which was alright. Also had the pretzel bites which did the job. Didn't notice any craft beers on tap which was a bummer...so I went with Yuengling Light. Really enjoyed the atmosphere and being surrounded by fellow traveling sports fans who were staying at hotels nearby. I was served with what appeared to be baked beans straight out of the can, a cold square roll torn from a package of store-bought rolls, and some chicken strips which were probably from a frozen bag of chicken strips. we ordered 20 parmesan garlic wing....they were the spiciest parm garlic wings i ever had....when i tasted just the sauce it was not par garlic by any means....the waitress never came back to ask us how they were..she came back after we were done eating and refilled our drink...and i can tell you this she was visiting with a couple of friends close ot us ..she was even sitting at their table....and if she was wondering why she got a poor tip thats why. another thing it took almost 45 minutes to get our food...and it sat at the window for almost 7 minutes b4 we got it...there was 2 other gorups that were seated after we were (there were only 2 people in my party) where there was 6 in another party with kids, that were seated 15 minutes after we were and they order after us and got their food b4 us.....this was nowhere what i would expect from this place at all...drove 2+ hours to try the wings...and there were over cooked big time.....hope i get some type of response from management read more
