Visited The Village Inn for a casual lunch with friends. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside has been renovated within the last couple of years and plays into the local sports team rivals.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Their menu offers classic bar food, pizza, craft beer, and tons of specialty cocktails. Jess served our table and could not have been nicer. She made some great food recommendations including their Pickle Bread which we had to try. Our group shared the Pickle Bread with a side of ranch. I was hesitant on what the flavor would be like but it was so worth it! Their ranch is also homemade and delicious; be sure to get a cup! For mains, I got the Garlic Parmesan Chicken Chunks (boneless wings). The chicken chunks had a nice breading but light in sauce. The fries on the side were all cooked to a different point so I picked out the crunchy fries to enjoy. The Cuban Sandwich was thoroughly enjoyed but the chicken fingers and American Smash were just ok. Pricing seemed very fair for the portions we got. Tip: You can buy Keno tickets and Pull Tabs so bring cash!

We ordered ahead here after an event. My friend came here quite often when she lived in the area and loved it so we had to order it to take home. We ordered the pickle cheese sticks - I know it sounds odd, but it was absolutely delicious! Then we had the California chicken and was wowed by the flavor. Such Ann amazing pizza and what they stand for.

Food was good- basic bar food. Would eat here again based on menu and selections. Definitely a fun sit down with friends spot. Service was on the slower side- but it was a friday night! Went around 730/8 pm and still took an hour to get our food. Waitress was super sweet/friendly, don't want to dock her on anything. Be ready for a wait if you are going on a Thursday-Saturday at dinner time! (and yes they have pull tabs!!)

Our first time here which we told the waitress. So disappointed that she didn't tell us about happy hour because we were there before 5 pm when it ended. Early for happy hour to end but regardless, why not tell so new customers the scoop? We ordered a couple beers first. Then we ordered tots for an appetizer and the speciality pizza. A suggestion to add banana peppers was on the menu so asked waitress if that is good and she said a lot of people do order it. Got our tots and waited and waited for pizza. Waitress said something went wrong with pizza so making a new one. Pizza was good with a nice quantity of items. Didn't know the banana peppers would cots an extra $1. Probably wouldn't of ordered that then because we never had that on pizza before. We should of been told about extra cost and about happy hour offerings. Disappointed with lack of communication. Friendly waitress.

Rooster's can never do me wrong, so an extra star has been awarded just for nostalgia & food. Coming from Columbus, I'm used to Rooster's being much rowdier, busier, and staff being more energetic and approachable. Maybe it's a hometown preference, but it seems this Northern Ohio location lacks the morale of a Central Ohio restaurant. Although they were timely (probably thanks to their cooks), it seems the wait staff weren't happy to serve until they were serving the check. I visited 2/3 times in my week stay, and from person to person, nothing changed. Maybe I missed the weekend rush, when it's more bustling and full of life, but this Rooster's never had a wait. The wings are a little greasier than I remember. But my west coast friends enjoyed the massive wings, incredible prices, and quality food just as well as I did. Dumpster fries always shared at my table. Long live Rooster's!

The Apple Feta Chicken Salad was delicious and chicken was plentiful. Our server was very attentive and quite knowledgeable of the menu selections. Even though most patrons were Buckeyes fans, the noise level was not loud by any means. Great place to watch the Ohio State game and especially watch the Buckeyes take down the #1 ranked Longhorns!

I realized however that I didn't realize the challenges that elderly/disabled people face when dining out. I had taken my mom to her cardiologist and he suggested that I take my mom out for a late lunch- which I enthusiastically embraced. Upon arriving at My Way Bistro, we were able to park in a handicapped parking spot with a slope to the sidewalk, which was helpful to my mom, who relies upon a walker for mobility. Upon arriving inside the restaurant, we were given our choice of booths or tables. I never realized before that the tables and booths are very high for someone with limited ability to lift their arms. There were no other options that we saw and my mom did her best to settle into a booth that I found comfortable but the table was clearly too high for my mom. She was a great sport however and made do with the high tabled booth. My mom ordered a lamb gyro with fries and I ordered my usual Georgia Reuben with fries. My mom was very pleased with her gyro. It had lots of vegetables and meat, and she said the tszazicki (sp?) sauce was delicious. She also enjoyed the fries. I loved my Georgia Reuben because the cole slaw has a kick of black pepper and other ingredients that make it taste amazing. The homemade Thousand Island dressing was soooo delicious! I was a little disappointed in the fries because they were fried more than I prefer but were still good. Best of all, we both took home leftovers! Seriously, the plates couldn't adequately support the generous portions of food with heaping amounts of fries- and I say that as a good thing! The ambiance is that of an upscale sports bar, but was pretty quiet when we were there, even though screens were turned on. Our server was very responsive and efficient. Overall a great experience and I definitely recommend checking out My Way Bistro for amazing sandwiches (also offer salads that I haven't yet tried) that are levels up from typical bar food.

Found a parking spot not too far from the entry as the wind chill was in the single digits. MyWay was crowded, but we were seated right away. Needless to say, the noise volume was elevated. There was a large group of people on our side of the restaurant that seemed to know one another. They were rather boisterous and seemed to have consumed a fair amount of alcohol. Even witnessed a middle aged woman who could hardly walk out on her own. Prior to her bumper-pool walking style on the way out, as she was seated, she hoisted up her leg and placed her heel on the man's shoulder she was with. Mercy! Alcohol can cause strange events to happen. We both ordered the Blackened Salmon Quinoa Salad with the Walnut Raspberry Vinaigrette dressing. Salad cost $18. To me, the salmon portion was a bit smaller than anticipated, but had a good blacked spiced mix and done very nicely.

I had heard it was a popular hot spot and perhaps my expectations were too high. It was my first time there. Upon walking in, it definitely gives off sports bar vibes, with lots of screens and a prominent bar area. Six of us were seated at a table with chairs near the entrance with a view of the bar. Service was great and we had no issues with separate checks. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with fries and iced tea with lemonade. Given that it is a bar type of environment, it was sometimes a bit difficult to hear conversations, even though we were there for lunch. My meal wasn't anything great or anything bad. It's typical bar food. The "mozzarella cheese" on my grilled chicken sandwich was clearly some type of white processed cheese. The fries were disappointing and I only had a few bites. I didn't take home any leftovers, Nobody raved about the food but some took home leftovers and some didn't. We always have fun as a group but I'd definitely say this is a place to come and chill to watch sports, have drinks and maybe some bar food. Not a foodie spot. As we were leaving, I took a peek at the simulated golf area that is adjacent next door, and it seemed to have a decent amount of people who are obviously brushing up on their golf skills. I'd recommend this place as an Irish sports bar. If that's what you expect, you won't be disappointed. Plenty of free parking.
