    Tuna sandwich
    Cynthia F.

First time eating lunch at the bakery. Tuna sandwich was surprisingly HUGE. I ate half and took the other half home. Stuffed with 2 thick slices of tomato and lots of slices of lettuce. Very generous. I enjoyed the multigrain bread. You can customize the sandwiches either your choice of breads snd toppings. I added Swiss. Vegan chickpea vegetable soup was delicious, although i wish it were less salted. I'm used to salt-free foods, so most people will love the soup.

    King cake

Fabulous Mardi Gras king cake - I highly highly highly recommend. Frida's has so many different pastries and desserts you can spend months working through the menu. I haven't tried lunch and dining in there yet but am so glad a delightful bakery exists in Largo.

Quick and friendly service, large menu where everything is delicious and mostly made in house bread wise. I ordered two lattes and two bagels for $35 dollars. Pricey but great quality. Plenty of parking and seating, perfect for breakfast or lunch. The bakery sells out quickly so get there early! Ambiance is quaint and homey

Fridas is both a great cafe and a great bakery/ and that's a good combination for enjoying your food, having some food to go and racking up a bill larger than you expected, but happy you did. My wife got the quiche and I had a muffin, both were great. We also bought an apple fritter and some protein balls to go, and enjoyed those later. None of the teas have free refills, but it is nice to see more options than just soda.

    Chocolate Mousse Cake, 6"
    Mary R.

We purchased a 6" chocolate mousse cake for my husband's birthday. The cake was beautifully decorated, it was very rich in flavor, had 3 layers, and the filling balanced out the chocolate ganache. The staff was very friendly and very attentive.

Not bad. Fresh. Just enough sweet. Their food looked good too to try another time.

Fresh and good. Not overly sweet. Regular menu food looked good too. For next time!

    King cake !!! So good!!!

Experienced this place based on a recommendation as I was looking for someone local that makes really good king cake. Frida's didn't disappoint... In my opinion, they have the best King Cake in the Tampa Bay Area (Largo). Frida's also has a LARGE variety of baked good as well as lunch sandwiches and coffee beverages. Parking is decent and there's plenty of seating!

Special order fruit torte with yellow cake crumb coating instead of almonds. DELICIOUS!

Amazing food and even more delicious baked goods and pastries. And the coffee?!! What a hidden gem. Thank you for helping us celebrate a special birthday.

    Special: Andoulle Reuben 9/10

I love stopping into Frida's cafe but they really could benefit from someone to help with tables and customer service. They were SO SLAMMED today. I ordered their Andoulie Reuben special and it was fantastic. Daughter got Turkey Avocado sandwich and said it was really good. We took home an eclairs, Dulce de leche Neopetin and an Apple Fritter (husbands favorite!).

    Sweet offerings

I've had this on my list to visit. Finally made it in today. My goal was the sweets because they offer so many GF options. I got some GF biscottis and GF chocolate chip cookies. I also saw they had strawberry shortcake and I've been craving this so bad so I had to get a few. Let me tell you I couldn't wait once I got home to try this. It was AMAZING!! The cream was not overly sweet, the cake was moist and the berries so fresh. It was beautifully balanced. I'd definitely come back just for this. I also had the hibiscus tea which was delicious and I highly recommend.

Jelly donuts, great big cinnamon rolls and a free yelp check in coffee!

Old school bakery that makes the most delicious sandwiches cakes, pies, cookies, German Christmas stolen and just about everything else you'd everwant to eat! Walk into the bakery and there is a very long showcase starting with beautiful decorated cakes as you make your way down to the pastries and see the menu. You know that you need to leave with at least one box. We ordered a pressed brie and cherry cheese sandwich Almond cookie is crumbly with whole almonds. Cinnamon bun so scrumptious. Apple fritter a little too sweet for me. Needs more apple. Overall, very enjoyable. You can sit outside on the patio and eat. Plenty of parking.

    Italian rum cake
    Cathy G.

Food wise love their Italian rum cake. If I'm not mistaken I ordered that cake many times and shared it to my friends. They liked how it tastes :) . Staff were very accommodating . Place is nice although small bakery and restaurant. They have parking behind the store.

They had all kinds of French baked items that looked delicious. I got a hot vanilla latte, it was good. I got my friend the morning melt breakfast sandwich, he said it was sooo good. I was scared because I was concerned the combination of flavors would be too " fancy " for him . But , nope he really loved it . I also purchased a chocolate croissant which I've never had, two macrons chocolate and a macaroon none of which I've eaten yet but, look beautiful Ate the chocolate croissant, first one I'd ever had ...delicious. The macaroon was good and the chocolate macrons was close your eyes amazing. I wish I didn't like macrons

I was addicted to the chocolate fudge cookies that were a chocolate cookie with chocolate meringue folded into it. For the same price, the meringue is gone, the butter and sugar are not creamed together sufficiently, and the dry ingredients are only mixed to a rocky consistency. The chocolate stays separate and the cookie is greasy, difficult to handle and doesn't taste very good. It is not made with love, nor was it mixed properly. The croissants are great just do not order any meringue products or the basque cheesecake. Not putting enough batter, temp too high and result a dried piece of paper with a hint of what once was. Thought of returning the cookies, but too sad

It wasn't bad but also disappointingly not great food wise. Service was pleasant and they brought items out quickly since it wasn't real busy on a Saturday lunchtime. Parking up front was easy. Staff was nice and friendly. Order at the counter and they bring it to your table. Quiche with bacon mushrooms was just ok. Lacked seasoning, richness and depth of flavor. Not bad but not great. The pressed pâté panini with cornichons had a crunch and iceberg lettuce. The croissants missed the laminated butter pastry taste and flakiness. The raspberry beignet wasn't overly sweet but tasted more bready than donut beignet. After that, we still ordered a lemon sugar crepe that missed the mark. It leaned more savory undertones without the lightness, tart and sweetness. More meh. I tried adding more sugar. Was it the lemon in the jar instead of fresh squeezed? The batter? The whipped cream didn't help. Oh well, we tried. All in all folks seem to like it, but I wouldn't really say it's a Parisian cafe or a patisserie that I'd make a long drive. If you haven't had a great French bakery or staying in Pinellas or just want some for the beach, it's great. We were disappointed by expecting more than it was. Unfortunately.

I'm always looking for a good place for corned beef hash that is homemade. They also were not stingy with the amount of meat for the hash. The eggs were perfectly cooked. I ordered pumpernickel toast and it came perfectly toasted and buttered. They also use premium jam, Dickinson's red raspberry jam in a little jar. It was a nice touch. To drink I had an iced chai latte. I do not know of many places that actually brew it from scratch with chai tea leaves and spices. My husband tasted it and thought it was as good as what you would get in an Indian tea stall. It does not have any sweetener in it, but has lots of flavor. It was brewed just the way we like it. I don't like places that use sweetened chai concentrate. So be patient while they brew it fresh for you. We also ordered French toast, which was challah bread that had been soaked to give that custard flavor and feel. They also put a little bit of butter on top of the French toast, which adds a nice salty creamy flavor. We were surprised that they were not super busy for breakfast. I would highly suggest trying this place for a wonderful breakfast treat.
