I felt if they stood behind their vehicles and the low miles I should have a few years without major repairs!! WRONG!!! 6 months in traction control light comes on, 2 weeks later service 4x 4 light. Keep in mind beginning of October...no reason for 4x4 anything! Made an appointment...bring the jeep in...transfer case sensor and sensor for traction control &1000.00. And couldn't get the part cause none of the other jeep dealers would give them up is what I was told...that tells me it's a common problem !! Serviceman at Friendly Chrysler Dodge Jeep told me It would be awhile for the part...no loaner but my jeep was safe to drive!! 5 weeks later the part comes in, get my jeep to Friendly Jeep.,,Now transfer case is bad...$2500.00 more!! Lady in service did get me a loaner this time...I am thinking they were cramming that extended warranty down my throat because they knew there were issues!! $3500.00 and they offered $250 off my bill! What happened to jeep 7 yr 70,000 mile warranty?

I've only used their auto repair services before, so my review only reflects upon that. Cost: Very very fair. I never ever feel like I'm being charged extra for either parts or labor. I don't know what kind of parts are used to repair cars here, but I don't ever feel like I'm getting shoddy quality parts either. In fact, and I'm not saying they do this all the time, I've went to get my fluids checked before and they've done it for free AND topped off a couple of them free of charge. How many places do that? Experience: I have nothing negative to say about Dave's. Dave and his son (and the other employee's I've encountered) are absolutely fantastic. They've been really friendly and informative the entire time to by myself and my fiancee. I've learned quite a bit about my car and as mentioned above, never feel like I've gotten ripped off. I do all my oil changes here and repairs (I've had a couple exhaust repairs and a couple wheel repairs) and am always quoted with costs consistent with low prices on car forums online. Overall: If you're in Geneva, NY and need auto repair done, go to Dave's. Don't mess around with Monroe or other chains that always find more things they want you to pay to repair. Dave's will let you know how your car looks and tell you what they think about your car and if anything does look on the verge of failing they'll let you decide if you want to do it now, down the road, somewhere else, or at not all. Completely pressure-free and a great experience all around. Going to miss it when we move out of state.

I don't feel overcharged which is one issue with many garages. They get the work done in a reasonable amount of time. The only issue I've had is there are no appointments, so you just drop your car off the night before or in the morning and they call you when it is done. This could be inconvenient if you work outside of the area. Dave, the owner is a nice guy and seems to remember you after a few visits and remembers your car. The garage also does used car sales, and rents U-Hauls. I would definitely recommend this garage to anyone in the area that needs work done on their vehicle.

My partner dropped off his truck to get the brake lines replaced, and have a seal on the turbo…read morereplaced. While fixing the brake lines, the mechanic damaged the caliper, which wasn't needing to be replaced. As he was repairing the turbo, he broke off a bolt in the turbo; which is humanly impossible to do unless you're the hulk. This damage caused the entire turbo to be rendered useless. Now, he has to replace a turbo and a caliper after paying almost $1ooo.oo in labor on a hack job. After speaking with the shop owner and mechanic about the issues that their haphazard skills created, they both refused to do anything to assist with the damages they caused. Even while acknowledging that they did indeed destroy two vital components to the vehicle, they flat out refused to do anything to make it right. I would not recommend doing any business with this shop. You're better off taking your money and expectations elsewhere.
