The worst place ever! Drilled the wrong tooth on a routine root canal and covered it up. I was forced to extract that tooth and get a bridge i didn't originally needed. Didn't tell me that day it happened. 2 weeks later denied everything. I had a huge drill hole in a healthy tooth. Been eating out if the side my mouth for years and will eventually need implants. Awful experience!!! I came here October last year. I arrived before my appointment time and waited almost 45 min before the doctor saw me. He spent maybe only one minute to check out my condition and recommended me to see an ENT doctor instead. I wish my dentist didn't recommend me to this place because they couldn't help me with the issue I had. I paid around $25 for my visit and left, but a couple months later, I received a letter from them billing me $160.60 because my insurance didn't cover my visit. Why didn't they check to make sure before they saw me?? This is a huge issue. And then I also wondered why they charged me for panoramic film when they didn't even take one of my teeth while I was there! So I decided to call them again at a later time, and they just removed it from my bill without any questions. That's great, but it's only ~$50 less, and it seemed like maybe they just add it on to people's bills as a standard practice even if they don't actually take a panoramic film, otherwise why would they not even try to fight for it??? It's like they know it shouldn't even be on there. So now, I still need to pay $100 something just for a one minute consultation for something they can't fix..... Clearly, they just want to make money off of their patients without really helping them. You're better off going somewhere else. read more

I walked in, feeling pretty traumatized, but the front office staff were extremely professional, answered my questions with patience, which assured me that I was in good hands. Watch out for this dental office. They commit billing fraud and even when you advise them the you have contacted your insurance and they are using the wrong code they argue and become persistent on collecting payment saying it is not covered. They won't even call your insurance, which I did and was told they were not using the correct procedure code. They are truly running a profitable scam and their office staff are more interested in pretending to be a bill collector to receive money than listen to patients. hey should be ashamed. read more

It was my first time visiting an Endo for a root canal today, 11/18. EXCELLENT, professional, friendly, safe and clean service. First time i had a root canal and it was essentially painless. The "worst" part was the initially, which was barely felt like a pinch, if anything. Dr. Yong Tae Park was very patient, caring, informative, gentle and professional. I had an abscessed tooth and needed a root canal. My original dentist didn't seem to have much urgency or concerns about my pain. After 3 days, my face kept swelling and the pain wouldn't stop. I got a second opinion at a new dentist who considered me a dental emergency and referred me to Dr. Henry Kwon. The office was clean, the staff were friendly, and the doctor was so nice! He took time to explain everything to me, including the risk of getting same day treatment due to the severity of my infection. Sure enough, the swelling went down a few days later with antibiotics and I was able to have the root canal a week later. Throughout the procedure, he and his assistant Jess C. kept a conversation with each other during the treatment and threw in a couple jokes to make me feel at ease. I've never been so comfortable in a dentist's chair while having such a big procedure done. 10/10 would recommend Dr. Kwon and Jess C. Thank you!!! read more

From the time I walked in to the end of treatment was a great experience. You know how it feels walking in a dental office getting a root canal. Jessica Chong was an amazing nurse. She was gentle and explain everything clearly. She made sure I was comfortable throughout the whole procedure. Hygienic is 100% on dot! Everything that Jessica, Dr and I touch are prewrap with a disposable plastic. She prepared all the tools needed during the procedure and it was line up like a pro. Dr Park, is very gentle, soft spoken and professional. I feel zero pain and zero discomfort. He is fast too. I appreciate the dental block he inserted in my mouth. Preventing me from locking my jaw, happened to me before because I have to open my mouth for so long during the surgery. He even put the a cover around my mouth so he can only focus on the tooth he is working on. I tend to move my tongue around but with that cover I think that helps me from disturbing his work. Special dark glasses was also given to me so the light doesn't blind me and the water didn't splash on me. All these little things are important to me as a patient. I have to leave 5 stars for my experience with Dr. Armand Keuroghlian. I had my bottom wisdom teeth extracted and 2 bone grafts because my teeth were so deep in my jaw. I was awake and given nitrous oxide to calm me down, but I could still hear everything happening. I was terrified the whole time and I had trouble relaxing. Dr. Armand was very patient and comforting throughout the whole process. He kept checking in to make sure I was okay and he kept encouraging me and telling me I was doing great. I kept moving my head without realizing but the dental assistant gently held my head straight to help the doctor. This process was a little scary and painful but I felt I was in good hands the whole time. Thanks Dr. Armand and team! read more

Dr. Park is very great and informative with the whole process. The whole root canal procedure was painless and took only 30 minutes or less but the office is a bit busy so expect to spend 90 minutes total. The painful part was the numbing.... The only complaint is that their price is a bit high compare to other dental office, but I can't complain since I didn't feel any pain even after the root canal is done. It kinda sucks that you have to do consultation. It costs about $81 which the insurance would cover 100%, but it will take out $81 from your annual maximum. Overall, great service. read more

Dr. Daniel Kim was by far the most amazing doctor. Let's start from the beginning, great parking area. It was easy to find parking. Staff: Judy & Leilani are so friendly with always a positive vibe when you enter their office! They are so nice & sweet! When I was called by Vicky, she was very caring & sweet! She did my X-rays and was very kind to me. Now Dr. Kim came in...He was sooo friendly & was very thorough in explaining on what he was going to do. (I am a very analytical person.. I usually ask a million questions but this time after he explained to me all my questions were answered that I had!) AMAZING! Now I've heard the horror stories about root canals but he assured me there wasn't anything to worry about. So going into this process he explained to me again what he was doing every time before he did it. I had shots and i felt no pain!! WOW! He went through everything and it felt very relaxing! No pain..No worry! He is an amazing doctor that did such an incredible job! In addition i felt very comfortable & will be referring all my friends and family to go to him! Thank you Dr.Kim!! I had my two wisdom teeth taking out last Monday and I must say it was a process! However the doctor was very helpful, the staff really helpful, Sara the receptionist she is also very helpful too. I had gone to the my general dentist due to having pain coming from my upper and lower right wisdom tooth areas. I was referred to this location to see the Oral Surgeon. I saw Dr. Armand K. and he was very knowledgeable and made me feel very comfortable and safe. I was very nervous since I have never had extractions, only root canals. This office does not take Medi-Cal but they went ahead and gave me a really good discount! The actual removal of the teeth was faster than the numbing process! Dr. Armand was done within 5 minutes! Afterwards, Sarah (front desk) was very helpful with post treatment instructions. I did get a "dry socket" a few days later but that was my fault since I did not follow instructions too well. It was painful but I was seen right away and they treated it and got some pain medication prescribed. I would recommend this location for Oral Surgery! read more

I would like to preface this post by saying that I'm terrified of Dentist. My dentist, Dr Nerisa Limansubroto was very understanding and amazing. She and her staff were calm and very welcoming during the initial consultation and during the procedure. I was given anxiety medication before the procedure which made all the difference. She called the next day to ensue everything was ok. I went the next day to correct my bite. Very thorough. I recommend this office greatly. read more

I called so many specialist before deciding to make appointment with friendly dental. I wanted to make sure everything is covered and what I need to pay in front.. This was back in 8/2023. Then, now in December, I get an invoice from them what I have to pay. I called the office immediately and the girl said she doesn't know why the insurance didn't cover it!!! As a dental provider/billing person knows what is covered and not covered. Contacted my dental insurance, and there was conversation that said that panaromic x-ray is only covered by general dentist. They could of get a copy of the X-ray from my general dentist, that was done 1 month prior to the visit. The appointment was for oral lesion evaluation. I wish business are up front, honest. I am disappointed. They knew the panaromic x-ray wasn't covered, and doesn't know why insurance didn't cover ii!!! read more

They staff is rude and not friendly and they do not explain what you will have to pay out of pocket. We were referred here by our regular dentist and had all necessary tests done at the regular dental office, they will talk you into having a ct scan that isn't even needed then tell you at the end of the visit that test was not covered and to pay $155.00 just for the doctor to ask you not sure why your regular dentist sent you here? The doctor only consulted with me for 10 min and didn't even have any records or notes from my regular dentist regarding the referral but the worst part is the staff was so rude, I do not recommend this place at all save your time and money! read more

I had severe pain due to a needed root canal I foolishly postponed. I called to this referred office from my dentist Dr. Loan Dao of Glendora. The front and back office penciled me in the next day due to my pain. I was so greatfull they did that as I couldn't function due to the pain. Root Canal gone wrong!! My 78 yr old husband suffered excruciating pain during a recent root canal procedure by Dr Kwon. I don't know why he wasn't administered more anesthesia to eliminate the pain since he told the Dr about the continuing pain. He finally just told Dr Kwon to stop because he couldn't take the pain anymore. The Dr said he was completed with the procedure. Because my husband has dementia I usually always stay with him when he's getting any type of treatments but since the procedure room was small I told them that I would step out but would be right outside if he needs me. My husband has been left physically and emotionally traumatized by this painful experience. It was a $365 copay plus an additional $100 for a treatment which obviously did not include pain meds which I will be reporting to our Insurance Provider. I told our general dentist that if we're referred to this facility again, Friendly Endodontics, it will not be with Dr. Kwon. I'm now concerned that the root canal is satisfactory because after the expensive crown is installed we definitely don't want to start this process all over again. read more

I never write reviews, however I find this necessary, first of all amazing staff . Super friendly , professional and helpful . Dr Kwon was amazing , he made my son (10 yr) feel super comfortable. He did the procedure within 30 minutes. The only thing , I'm assuming they over booked, our appointment was at a specific time , however the dr was about to begin another procedure with another patient at our appointment time , he did apologize for the delay , since I did have to wait an extra 30 min . No big deal , things happen. My son was taken care of .
