I called Friendly Plumbing and spoke with Eugenia and scheduled Michael to come out and install a new sump pump today. I also explained that he needed to look at my kitchen faucet. Eugenia called me and asked if Michael could stop by EARLIER than scheduled. I was happy to accommodate that request. Michael is knowledgeable and efficient. He knows time is money. He quickly installed the sump pump and we headed to the kitchen sink. He checked a few things on the faucet and had the matter resolved in a matter of minutes. Great service. We had no water to our house due to my screwing-up a DIY project (please carefully consider NOT using Sharkbite fittings!). The very kind office manager and I exchanged a few texts so she understood the situation. Bought a house less than a year ago and my water heater started leaking. Had a bit of a panic as it is a finished basement. They worked with me on every aspect of the process and were incredibly friendly. In fact, my door was too small to get the new water heater through, but they were able find a solution to make it work! They were in and out in less than a morning. I had a hammer and screw driver near their tools and they accidentally took it in the clean up. They came back and returned it while I was out of the house before I even noticed. I had an appointment scheduled a week prior to have Friendly plumbing come out and replace my RO systems filters, fix some leaky faucets, and do some additional plumbing work in my house. I took time off of work for the appointment. Instead, I received a text (not even a call mind you) from Friendly plumbing the morning of, 1hr prior to the appointment, that read and I quote "We are not able to come do job. We not feel comfortable to change filter for RO system". OK that fine, so what about the other plumbing work? Where was the call the night before explaining the situation? You don't feel comfortable to change a RO filter, then fine, don't do it. I guess this company feels that it's perfectly fine and acceptable to just text someone the morning of and let them know they will not be coming to do a job. Well guess what Friendly Plumbing maybe you should change your name to UNFriendly plumbing business that's not acceptable business practice, at least not here in America! Don't just blow somebody off. Don't waste their time! I see everyone posting all these great reviews of this company. Well, I would direct you to read MT's recent review where he writes "I heard they do great work when they arrive, but also heard they like to pick their jobs. I understand your busy, but just tell me so." I guess the work I needed done was not enough for them, so instead of doing the right thing and calling me and letting them know they would not be able to do the job, they just blew me off, and cost me money because I had to take time off of work.
