Pizza about as bad as Domino's. Ordered Friendly's Special Pizza--sucked. Supposed to have meats but was primarily some veggies and cheese. Topping didn't cover out to edge of pizza; outer edge was like a large donut-crust and nothing on it. They should look at House Special from Village Grille. Would have ordered from there but they were closed on Monday. Two large pizza were $43.00 and change. I'll not buy at Friendly again. Not worth it! read more

Well I'll start by saying the pizza is fairly good. But I ordered meatball sub and that's where it all went south. I was craving a meatball sub I hadn't had one for a while. We go here on a regular basis and are never disappointed. Pizza is always done in less than 15 minutes and has just the right amount of sauce and cheese. Occasionally we stray from the usual chicken and spinach pizza, but that's our favorite. Things we have also enjoyed: seafood salad on salad, buffalo chicken salad, veggie grinder, and spinach pie. Best pizza place in Athol!! They didn't offer delivery when i went there and I'm not sure if they do now. Food is amazing! Staff are so friendly and make you feel right at home. I always buy my pizza here. I have tried every pizza joint in town. This is by far and away the best pizza. Being disabled they bring it to my car for me. Their fish is also very good fish and chips. The food is good but they really need to get it together with regards to pricing. One sister charges this another charges that for the same thing. Here's what I'm told to substitute waffle fries instead of regular fries is $1.50 by one sister and another sister (who's usually here on the day we come) charges .50. Now I'm told it is because $1.50 is the difference between what an order of regular fries and waffle fries is. Now if my sides were actually the size of a full order of fries then fine but they're not the portions are smaller. And she at one point said she was going to charge me $1.50 for each side (one of the sides was NOT a substitution). Long story short I ended up NOT getting either side cut my dinner to a side order of fingers. Once I'm not so ticked I'll decide if I'll return here. *edited* I removed one star because after I received my order of chicken fingers that I was charged $7.00 for (mind you a dinner is $7.50) I am highly disappointed. The pizza was very good. The crust seemed to be a prepackaged kind, but I could be wrong. The toppings, however, were fresh and plentiful and delicious. I had a pizza with green peppers, onions, sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms and you could see/taste how fresh the vegetables were. My only real criticism was the cavernous room itself.
