Where they truly shine is customer service. The staff was accommodating, friendly, and very helpful throughout the visit. Let me first point out that I have been going to this Friendly's for over 10 years. Back then everything was great about this place service, food, atmosphere, literally everything! Now within the past year or so it has gone down hill. The service actually sucks but since I've been going to this same one for years I figured I'll give them another chance(s). Today was my last and final chance to see if they corrected their mistakes. Once we walked in we were greeted immediately which was great. We sit down at our table and look over our menus and decided what we wanted within a few minutes. After 15 minutes our drink order was taken but it took us 5 minutes to receive our drinks so we are at 20 minutes from the time we walked in until we received our drinks. Already on the wrong page. After 25 minutes our food order was taken. We then wait an ADDITIONAL 25 minutes to receive our food. We are now at 50 minutes from walking in until we receive our food. We asked for refills twice before we received a refill. I witnessed 4 other parties walk in, receive their drinks, appetizers, and food before we received our food. Everyone in my party ordered either a chicken wrap or salad so 25 minutes is absolutely ridiculous. After we finished eating it took us about 15 more minutes to receive our check which ended up being wrong because we were charged for items that were sold out. After our check was corrected, we paid and left. The whole experience took over an hour and a half in a half empty restaurant with 4 waitresses. Needless to say I will NEVER go to this restaurant again. A word to management, re-train your staff on how to be waitresses and focus on their customers. The bad part about the whole experience is that our waitress had been at this location since I started coming here. I am not sure what happened but they completely lack everything they were once very good at! I rate 1 star because the food was good but the service is -5 stars. read more
