Tonight Friendly's Pizza lost my business. See I had heard about the food this restaurant had good food, so I decided to try it. The food was decent and the service was well they lost my business. Tonight Friendly's Pizza left a lot to be desired. I placed my order and the guy who took it kept calling me babe (I thought, my dad is not that young, and my spouse doesn't look like him, strange!?!) But I moved on. An excessive amount of time goes by and I start to wonder if they forgot about my order. 20 minutes pass and I finally get my order, so I tell the cashier: Food for thought, you might want to give your customers an estimate of how long it will take for when you are busy and the response I got was "yeah for sure why don't you write about so we can all read it" the cashier laughed and walked away. This was my first time ordering here and I enjoyed my meal for the most part. I'm new to the are so I'm trying out a lot of different places. I order mozzarella sticks, beef gyro, and fries. Gave it one star cause this is the second time I bought pizza and they gave me an old large pizza. First time I reported it to the owner. He said he would replace the pizza. I told him don't bother and have a talk to your cook. He told me okay. Today Friday May 7th 2022 his cook did the same thing gave me an old pizza that was sitting probably for hours because somebody cancelled the order. Delivery time was standard for busy/late Saturday afternoon ~50 minutes Supreme Pizza 20 Hot Wings w/blue cheese 2 additional blue cheese Pizza was definitely 2 out of 10 - crust was sub par, toppings were sparse for a Supreme, amount of cheese WAS correctly proportioned, sauce was really the only memorable taste. Taste experience left much to be desired. Wings were excellent, however only delivered 2 sauces total - order taker verified "2 additional sauces". I expected a slightly higher quality product with a 5 star rating. Getting my order right would have given 1 additional star. Pizza flavor/presentation would've given 1 additional star. Excellent Pizza and less kitchen crosstalk during phone order would've provided the additional 5th Star. Was looking for a pizza delivery and saw this place had a 4.5 rating. What were those people thinking? We ordered a Brooklyn style pizza. The sauce tasted like it came from a can and there was way too much of it. Nothing worse than biting into piles of cold canned sauce The crust was tough and hard to eat. The owner is awesome! I ordered a wing combo a couple weeks ago to be delivered to work and the fries were forgotten. But he said he got me next time I ordered. Last night ordered at work again and he gave me the wing combo, the fries for free with two drinks and didn't charge for the extra sauce or celery. Talk about making the customer happy. I didn't see a place to order a drink when ordering through yelp, so I called and spoke with an employee of Friendly's and he added one to my order without making it a big deal. I asked about paying over the phone for it and said I could just pay the driver. Most places would not have a trusted someone to pay this way. When I get pizza I don't want re heated pizza. I actually saw them throw extra cheese on the already cold pizza. Then throw it back in the oven. If you're starving it's a decent place to eat. I am proud to say we went here 2 times in 2 days, and I'll tell you why! They have variety of really good food. The prices are great and they are open LATE! On the first trip, we ordered a calzone, falafel, gyro, and garlic knots to go. The calzone came out first, and about 10-15 minutes (after the guy checked on our order 2 times) the rest of the order was ready. He explained that they were really busy and apologized for the wait. By the time we got to the hotel, the calzone was a solid brick of cheese. But the flavor was so good - I knew we would go back. The next day, we changed our plan. We called in an order of 10 wings, and a calzone. It was ready in 15 minutes and when we got back to the hotel, the calzone was everything I knew it could be. The food is delicious. To be honest, it wasn't as bad as I thought...for a restaurant/eating place that is rated around 1.9 stars...it's not bad. The only negative thing I will say is that they should clean more and get repairs because there was papers on tables and even on the floor. Also, there is only like 3 workers that take forever to make your whole meal. But apart from that I recommend ordering the Small Gyro Pita with fries, a soda, and balaclava, as well as the small pizza. Delicious! read more
