I caught a flat on the way to a delivery in Brooklyn and this was the closes tire shop. I was skeptical on coming because they had little to no reviews but the 3 reviews they have are good. My experience was just the same I was greeted with a smile. They troubleshooted my problem and got me on my way. The service is amazing and quick and they are all so nice! My elderly mother had a flat tire and they came and helped get the car to the shop (the car was only a couple of blocks away, so they could pump enough air in the tire to get us there) and then fixed it (a nail) in a couple of minutes. They even had an incredible spray solution that removed a large swipe mark from another car off of her car. So friendly and prompt and fantastic. I could not recommend them more. read more

This is the best tire shop in the city and I am midde-aged and have lived here all my life (in every borough except Staten Island) and driven constantly since I was 18 (sorry environment) so I've had a lot of cause. For mounting and balancing, flats and other repairs, rotation, and/or TPMS resets they are simply the best. Fast, efficient, thorough, inexpensive/great prices for all services, lovely owner, I just can't say enough great things about my experiences here. They have a great selection of used and new tires and wheels for a smallish shop and their prices always beat the competition within miles of them. Another benefit of this shop is that it's at the corner so there's always a place to pull up on either side of the shop and plenty of parking if you need to wait a few minutes to get work done, you rarely need to double park. The last time I was there, the owner noticed my hubcap was missing (recently stolen), he happened to have an identical one and gave it to me on the house! Made my day frankly! Tip well if you can because their prices are off the hook. The tire shop is open during the Covid crisis, FYI. read more

I personally do not recommend this tire shop. The staff is rude and try to intimidate you when they are backed up against the wall. I came in yesterday for a used tire I had a nail in mine and needed a new one. Paid $60 cash for a used one to be put on. These guys give me a tire with a whole in it. Improperly sealed, and on top of it all... no cap for the air capsule. Now when I turn on my car the next morning from leaving the shop. Guess what???... the tire is on 0 again. So now 6am no shops are open I go to search for one and get this resolved since the shop that helped isn't open & people need to get to work. This shop tells me the issue and patches up my tire for me. So now I am frustrated. I paid for something to be fixed and it couldn't be fixed. So now I go back to Friends Tires. & I go ask for a refund with the receipt. & the woman in the front understood where I was coming from and was going to refund me. She understood how big of an inconvenience this was. Then she speaks to some bald Dominican guy, he tried to come out and intimidate me and walk away. Talking about "you paid for a used tire, that's what you get". Correct! I did pay for a used tire but not one with a slow leak. I already had that issue coming in. You are that hungry to dishonestly earn $60? & don't forget the extra tip I gave you for the lazy work and amount of time it took for you to actually finish. Be my guest. But I do not recommend this place at all. This dude is talking about "shit happens." Completely unprofessional considering this dudes supposedly the boss and the manager. read more
