Dr. Rader and Dr. Kvinta are both very attentive and having themselves gone through many issues regarding vision care, are extremely knowledgeable and I really liked how well they were with the scientific advances and breakthroughs with attention to how it would affect the wallet and the long-term health - so it lived upto its reputation that made me go to the center in the first place. Kudos and I enjoy my contacts and frames more now.

From checking in with the receptionist to the eye examination to trying on my new spectacles, everything about Parkwood was truly excellent. Dr. Tyler Kvinta was very kind and honest. He gave me a thorough assessment of my vision, which is now mono after I went completely blind in my left eye a few years ago. My next appointment here is in a year, and I really hope I get Dr. Kvinta (pronounced "Kin-ta" like Quinta in La Quinta) again. Debbie in the glasses shop exuded warmth. It was like I was talking to a good friend about what glasses I should wear. She made my new pair feel as comfortable as possible. I want to conclude with another positive: they have a Keurig if you're looking to fulfill your coffee or tea fix.

They collected…read morepayments from customers for services that should have been covered by insurance; however, to avoid the hassle of filing claims, they required customers to pay the full amount out of pocket. When customers requested that they file insurance claims--and even when the insurance company proactively contacted them with the same request--they flatly refused to cooperate. Furthermore, when customers asked for copies of their receipts or copies of their eye examination results, the staff repeatedly stalled and withheld the documents. When a customer discovered that they had been charged for unjustified fees on multiple occasions--and, worse yet, that the lenses provided had been manufactured with incorrect prescriptions--the shop owner became hostile, physically expelled the customer from the premises, and threatened to call the police. The owner is arrogant, rude, and refuses to issue any refunds. This establishment is a family-run business owned by a Vietnamese couple; they are malicious, greedy, and engage in deceptive practices against their customers. I urge everyone to avoid this shop--proceed with extreme caution!

Still, it's always seemed to me that their fulfillment is fairly slow. I've always looked the other way here because of their stores and doctors but this time....I've been waiting since 11/20 (almost 22 days) for my order to arrive. What is worse in my mind is that I had to call them to even realize there was a delay. There should be some notification to customers on the status of their glasses and especially when there are delays. What was also frustrating is that I had to suggest a potential resolution - shouldn't it be the other way around? I normally don't leave reviews much less negative ones but when you pay a fairly substantial amount for a pair of glasses and you fulfill your obligation of the transaction up front - shouldn't their be some urgency? I should say that the Assistance Store Manager has been responsive.
