After coming to this salon since 2020, I had the worst experience with their customer service and will sadly never return. My son got a concussion and I had to keep him at home, and I received the Salon's text confirmation request, but did not confirm, figuring they would cancel my appointment. Then, two days later I noticed the entire $200 service was charged to my card on file. I called to ask why I was charged when I never confirmed or showed up for the appointment, and was told that is their policy - no exceptions. I tried to explain that my son got a concussion in school so I had a lot on my plate, and also that I did not confirm the appointment. They refused to even bill me for only half, which I suggested as a potential solution. I told them it was very upsetting that after years of going there and never having this happen before that they would take this stance. I explained that I would leave a negative review to let others know what happened to me, and would not be returning. Still, they did not care. Much of what makes a business great is taking care of their customers and at least giving consideration to someone who had an emergency situation. It would have been nice if they had shown that they actually cared about me as a person and a customer. Apparently, it's only about the money at any cost, which is super disappointing. I had highlights done by Ellie today. She is new and I was excited to see what she could do. She DID NOT disappoint. She did a great job of communicating from beginning to end, she really listened to what I was visualizing and then advised based on my hair. She did an amazing job and I look forward to going back to her and watching her grow in her career. I think she has a very bright future ahead and could not be nicer or more personable. I didn't have a great experience with my hair here and am very disappointed. It's always hard to find a new stylist when moving to a new area and I was excited to try this cute salon out as it had good reviews and was very close to my new house. Unfortunately the stylist was not very well versed in how to sew my extensions and when I expressed my concerns and came back to have them fixed, they charged me to fix the problem she caused In first place. It was her mistake that the extension ends were assymetrical and not centered giving my hair a weird appearance. The second time they were sewn in completely wrong with the beads showing. I've been doing extensions for years and know what they should feel and look like and for the price I felt that they should have better stylists available that know how to do hair properly. Even my grays popped out two weeks after color. I called to give her a third chance but ended up changing my mind and not wanting a third disappointment and a third charge and not get what I want. I really didn't want to write a bad review but the fact that they never even followed up with a call Or apology left a bad taste in my mouth and I had to say something. This is not the level of service I would expect from such a cute salon. read more

I always have. Delightful visit with the crew at Fringe Studio. I have been having my hair done there for about 3 years. Today I got a haircut and I am very happy with it. The products they use are wonderful and they use a steamy hot towel on your head while tour conditioner is processing. My only caution is always ask prices if you are budget conscious. She is truly an artist and has literally changed the appearance of my hair from mousey, dry, short, and full of split ends to GORGEOUS, silky, healthy and long hair (for the first time in my life). I am the type of guy that likes to get a good haircut by the same person as much as possible. Well, recently my last hair stylist stopped working because of family reasons. I thought to myself, here we go again. Time to search around waiting to find the next person that 1) Is knowledgable about men's hair, 2) Is convenient for my schedule, and 3) Does a great job. I am so happy that I bumped into Meg through my work because she told me that she cuts mens and women hair and she is right across the street from my office. Well that's 2 of the boxes checked! I scheduled very easily online and when I walked in I was met by smiling faces and a clean salon. Meg had me in, out, and onto the golf course in no time. I waited till the next day to write the review because I wanted to see how my hair was back at home. I AM SO HAPPY with my haircut! Tina was my hair stylist & makeup artist for my wedding & bridal portraits. She was flexible on scheduling trial runs and the day-of timeline. She was well-prepared, quick, and fun! I came with a few ideas for both hair & makeup and she was so easy to work with, even when I changed my mind. Tina is so easy to talk to and I was immediately comfortable and knew I could ask her to change it or fix something. On the day of my wedding, she was early and energetic. She and her team did my entire bridal party's hair and makeup on-time and BEAUTIFULLY. I loved the way I looked and Tina was incredible thoughtful and talented. I didn't feel like a different person- she made me look like a better version of myself. I would recommend her (& her team) to anyone looking for special hair & makeup services. I was supposed to have an interview with them at 8 am, I was running a little behind schedule. I called 3 separate times before they opened but nobody was there to answer. As I get there and explain to them as to why I was running late they turned me away yet the co-owner let me know they were late as well. I honestly think that had I been WHITE or looked like them they wouldn't have had such an issue with me being late. Don't judge a book by it's cover. If I could give 0 stars I would. Tina Teel is the best! She not only saved me and my family on my wedding day, but she did an AMAZING job on all of us! Half of our guests weren't able to attend the wedding, vendors canceled and we were stuck at our hotel due to a crazy Texas ice storm. Tina still showed up! She did hair for 6 people and makeup for a few too. My mother-in-law and sister-in-law had appointments which were canceled 2 hours in advance and Tina took care of them. She didn't even blink an eye. She even gave me a little pep talk with some great advice as guest cancellations began to come in and I became a little emotional. I have been going to Tina for three years and would not consider getting my hair or lash extensions by anyone else. She is such a pleasure to be with I look forward to every appt and of course she does amazing work. My hair cut and color always look perfect.
