I have had issues with the older gentleman guiding my car into the car wash, not paying attention to what he is doing. I brought it to the attention of the management staff as well. This past Thursday, I went to get my car washed, and the older man was there. Again, he waved me in, and I was not totally pleased with it. But it appears that as the rollers pulled my car in, all was well. My car got to the area transitioning from rinse to dry, and the two rollers that should have pulled my car along lifted my driver's front tire up and back. It appeared that it would pick up and pull my car forward, but it did not. I started blowing my horn so the attendant would stop the system. No one came, and the next minute, the system pulled the next car into my car. The car pushed my car forward as I kept blowing for someone to help. No one came, as there would be an attendant to assist. The manager on site who had no customer service experience, blamed me for the whole incident without even listening. I was extremely upset the way they handled the whole situation. Very unprofessional. They were not concerned about what happened, even though the same thing had happened two weeks prior on a Saturday. On that day, they had someone stop the rollers so that each vehicle that got hung up to go through. This time there was no one, and the manager on site acted as though this had never happened before. Beware of this car wash, especially if the old man is supposedly guiding your car in. He does not know what he is doing.

When I went in today to get my oil topped off, I was met by a young mechanic who said pop your hood man. Then he told me it would be simpler and easier to check your own oil at home. That doesn't strike me as polite service for a paying member of the car wash. I pay about $100 every time I get my oil changed, and I pay $40 a month for your membership. I feel I should get more courteous service then "it would be simpler and easier to check your own oil at home. I have the right to come get my oil topped off when I need to since I'm paying for oil changes there.

Basically, every other self service car wash business within 10 miles is utterly horrible and Cougar, while not glamorous, gets the job done so 'In the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king.' If you need someone to talk to about your car wash experience at Cougar, you should probably get your car washed elsewhere because Cougar tends to have various anonymous people 'running' the facility, most of whom are never there and who also provide no means for contacting them. If you wash your car at least once a week, install the Coinless app and you'll be automatically be charged $25 / month which nearly always covers the time required to wash your car so it is worth it because you are basically paying a little over $6.00 per car wash. ($25/4 = $6.25). If you don't wash your car that often (let's say once or twice a month), then of course your cost per car wash goes up ($25.00/#washes per month) is $25 per wash if you only wash your car once a month. Since I have recently scaled back the number of times that I wash my car per month, I elected to delete my account from within the Coinless app, which, as far as I can tell, is the only possible way to keep them from charging me another $25 on the 23rd of this month. The vacuums were good quality and you get one on each side of your vehicle and you don't really share them with the car next door like most places do. They have a lot of spots to vacuum so it doesn't feel crowded either. I think they may do inside cleaning as well but I honestly didn't ask about prices. Definitely I will be back to this car wash.
