Riquísimo!! Came by to visit the hardware store, and spotted the big "Fritanga" sign. Naturally, my Nicaraguan self will go in and judge their cacao. Well, I couldn't walk past the food and not try it. Let me tell you, it was as delicious as it looked. This is authentic nicaragüense food. It tastes just like my mom's cooking. That's how I know it's good! Definitely give this place a shot. Can't wait to come back :)

On the outside it's a little unassuming even though the plaza itself is nice, but the decor inside was elegant. Our server was really friendly. Unfortunately, she di forget to bring into our appetizer. But we even forgot until after we were eating dinner so we didn't say anything (and it turns out it wasn't on the check either). We went at around 8:30 pm on a Friday night and there were only a few other tables, it they're open until 3am so we assume it is more of a late night spot. We both thought the food was incredible though. I had salmon (which was cooked to perfection) and cilantro rice. I ordered vegetables (zucchini, tomatoes, and broccolini) which were also surprisingly tasty. My husband had the mofongo. It was just different from the typical Puerto Rican mofongo in that didn't come with sauce other than some garlic sauce, but the taste was still great. He also liked the chicken that came with it. We will def be returning here in the future!
