Churrasco Vacio. Thin Churrasco de vacio. Sad. So sad.
Miguel O.

Oh well. Wish I did a review when the place was worth mentioning. I did not and would have gladly made it a follow up. Truth is that I have been coming here for years because I found quality and value in the offering. I can not longer say that. Unfortunately prices have slightly gone up, but it's not COVID anymore and could reasonably justify it would the quality still be present. It is not. Place is nothing out of the ordinary but decent and clean. That is still important. The servers have been pretty much the same as long as I remember and their service is not outstanding but they are courteous and they've always have a smile. Until recently, I've always been a fan of their "flank steak" (vacío) and my daughter of the skirt steak (entrana). We always go for the same w/o exception. But today we got a slice of it. The "steaks", which looked more like ham slices, were not cooked like before when you could see the grilled marks showing they were properly made. Instead they looked like they had been done on a pan. The quality of the meat no longer felt like it was a decent cut but rather a skimpy portion and honestly deserved to be returned. My daughter's serving was no different. But, we were hungry and just had it. Food quality is understandable so, out of our servers control but today when I asked what had happened, maybe it was a different cook or it might had just been the specific cut I got, but the answer was "it's always been like this". That was the response I got. I don't and can't agree. I've been coming here for years and it has not always been this way. However, I had noticed the cuts were coming increasingly thinner. Today was too much. As always, I do hope this review helps and if there's doubt here's a couple pictures and go along this review. Hope this restaurant corrects this and I can imagine the rest of the menu is suffering the same experience I had, as soon as possible and may time bring me back to try this place again. I know I won't come in a long time but should there be anyone willing to share their own experience I'll be the first one to update this review on "La Nueva Argentina" which today unfortunately does not merit anything worth mentioning other than I'll pass for the time being.

Visited LNA for a Wednesday lunch. The interior is ok and parking is good. This restaurant is surprisingly large. Service was outstanding. They really know how to treat their customers. The place was very busy for a weekday lunch. That's always a good sign. The food was pretty good. For the appetizer, skinny sausage (forgot name), and side of bread was delicious. But the price was crazy for the tiny piece. A pitcher of sangria was just right size for the 4 of us and was really tasty. We ordered a 4 serving parrillada ($120) with sides of mashed potatoes, fries, mixed salad. Everything was delicious. But, waaaay too much food. For desert we had the panqueque de Dulce de leche. We were surprised that there was only 1 skinny panqueque. But it was very good. Overall, we were happy with our meal but a little dissapointed that the parrillada came on a plate instead of on a table grill (like in most Argentinian restaurants). And not too happy that if you want bread, you have to pay extra for it (crazy, right?). I guess I will eventually return to try the milanesa on the weekday lunch menu which is competitively priced.

What can I say about La Nueva Argentina? This place has been around forever and those who know... know. Empanadas are delicious, unfortunately we got there a little late and they were sold out by the time we got there. To share the parillada is a great option, it includes tons of variety and if you're like me you can request to replace the morcilla with an extra chorizo. This time however we each had an entraña which comes with two sides. We could have easily shared one, each order comes with two long pieces of meat, but now we have tons left over for steak and eggs in the morning. We're not drinkers but they do have a decent wine selection to go with their mouthwatering steaks. In a world full of places cutting back, and shrinking portions, it's great to see this small business thriving. All in all, this is a terrific option for a good Argentinian steak without having to break the bank. Check it out and you won't be disappointed! You're welcome!

The food here is always incredible. Service is very good. It feels like a cozy mom and pop type, authentic Argentinian restaurant. Amazing meats cooked perfectly made to order in the style that you like. I had the Parrillada for 1, and it is definitely worth the money. 10/10 will be back.

The coffee was to die for. The food delicious and we even got Mojella and sausages to grill later at home. Very nice place and lovely ambiance. Highly recommended.

Been here several times throughout the years and always have a great experience. Their lunch specials are great and provide a good portion. This time around I ordered the churrasco entraña and was seasoned to perfection! Comes with 3 sides and they also provide bread roll free of charge. The restaurant is located in a small shopping plaza but never have I had any issues with parking. Staff is great and beside the restaurant side of it, there is butcher shop inside. There is both indoor & outdoor seating.

Chicken, as it shows on the menu.

I order chicken. Got more than a good portion. But, the grill chicken was dry, maybe overcooked & plain. No juice from the grill chicken or caramelized onions. The Russian salad was good. The bread was good, but was served with a 48% vegetable oil spread, instead of real butter. My husband's steak was good. At the end, I noticed chimichurri little plastic containes next to the napkins, but we had finished eating already & we were not told about it at first. Nothing offered after we had our dinner. Service could have been better & the same for the chicken. For these prices, I'll go to Graziano.

This plate was $29.99 Entraña with there uncle bens rice that I love and fries. Use both sauces on rice!

Great service. Food was impeccably prepared and delicious. Churrasco and chimichurri sauce were 10 out of 10. Nice spot for a cozy dinner.

A really bad experience. Food it's ok but not more than that. From one to ten, it's a five. The worst is the service.

Her customer service and attention to detail was awesome, ensuring she stopped by multiple times throughout to top off water and check on my experience. I went with the grilled Chicken breast and double side of tostones which tasted fantastic. Of note, I covered the tostones in the garlic like sauce while they were hot, which rendered them a fine combo of crunchy and somewhat soft- in short, awesome. Personally, no meal is finished without some form of coffee at the end. I admit this habit stems from my upbringing and a penchant for American, French and Italian fare but this was no different. I enjoyed a Cortadito which tasted amazing and had beautiful presentation. If I could rate this experience 6 stars I would. They knocked it out of the park. Note: They're FIU student, police and county friendly to boot.

It seems that rather than buying or ordering more Swiss cheese, they use a Kraft cheese substitute, which tastes awful. I'm ordering this item while I'm on my lunch break at work, mind you. This just ruined the rest of my shift since I have to eat this considering how expensive it was and how bad it tastes...

AMAZING!!! This spot…read morehas quickly become a new favorite of mine. As someone who follows a plant-based lifestyle, it's not always easy finding Latin restaurants that don't use animal products in their beans, so I was pleasantly surprised to learn that they don't. And when I tell you these are the BEST restaurant beans I've ever had, I mean it. WOW. We actually discovered this place by accident two weeks ago when the restaurant we originally planned to visit was closed on a Monday. We needed something nearby, so I jumped on Yelp, saw the great reviews, and decided to give it a try. I wasn't expecting much, but I was completely impressed. Everything we've tried has been simple, fresh, and delicious. The Ensalada Turca is my favorite and an absolute must-try. The jugo de mora is incredibly refreshing, and the sopa de frijoles with rice and maduros hit the spot so much that I ordered it both visits. The staff is warm, welcoming, and attentive, always making sure you have everything you need. The restaurant itself is small and unassuming, decorated with beautiful cultural touches. The music playing in the background instantly took me back to my childhood, reminding me of the songs my mom and grandma used to play on the radio at home. Overall, this is a hidden gem that's absolutely worth seeking out. We've already been back twice, and we'll definitely be returning again.

Solid Colombian comfort food that sancocho hit the spot!…read moreStopped in for lunch and left very satisfied. I ordered the Sancocho de Costilla and it was packed with tender beef rib, yuca, potato, carrot, plantain, and corn in a rich, flavorful broth. The portion was generous and tasted homemade perfect for a hearty meal. I paired it with a fresh beets salad and crispy tostones on the side. The tostones were perfectly fried (golden and crunchy), and the avocado + lime on the plate added a nice fresh touch. Everything came out hot and well-seasoned. Nothing fancy about the setting, but the food delivers that authentic Colombian taste. Service was friendly and quick. Great value for the portion sizes. Will be back to try more items next time

On the outside it's a little unassuming even though the plaza itself is nice, but the decor inside was elegant. Our server was really friendly. Unfortunately, she di forget to bring into our appetizer. But we even forgot until after we were eating dinner so we didn't say anything (and it turns out it wasn't on the check either). We went at around 8:30 pm on a Friday night and there were only a few other tables, it they're open until 3am so we assume it is more of a late night spot. We both thought the food was incredible though. I had salmon (which was cooked to perfection) and cilantro rice. I ordered vegetables (zucchini, tomatoes, and broccolini) which were also surprisingly tasty. My husband had the mofongo. It was just different from the typical Puerto Rican mofongo in that didn't come with sauce other than some garlic sauce, but the taste was still great. He also liked the chicken that came with it. We will def be returning here in the future!

You walk in and it's just brimming with stuff ALL over the place. It's like a fever dream, but in a good way. Since we walked in it was packed and there was music which definitely set the vibe. Was a little hard to talk, but it made you want to dance the whole away through. The food is priced great and delicious. It took a little while, but completely understandable and the wait time was convenient for how packed the place was. The only reason I'm giving a four instead of a five was the service was a LITTLE slow. I understand again they were doing as good a job as possible for how packed the place was, but I had asked for water when our server took our order and I didn't get water till every single person at our table had to reask for water and I finally got some post meal. Our server was really nice, but again, took a while to get water, but we got another round of sangria and received those before the water. The place was bumping and people were dancing and having a good time. I would MAYBE check this place out again on a slower day. I hear they have mariachi!
