My coworker said this place was legit. The salsa looked homeade and not all tomatoey like some. Tostaditos were par. I ordered the taco plate. Barbacoa, lomo de res, and carnitas. Plate came with sides of beans, rice, and obligatory salad. Limes, avocados, and red / green salsa available. The tacos were delicious and rather large portion. The lomo de res was a generous portion of steak that I couldn't believe was one taco. Carnitas diced good size and more on the done side. Barbacoa also delicious. I really enjoyed the beans and rice. Generally a single taco ran in the $2.50 range. I think the plate was $9.50ish. The horchato was better then I expected. This isn't a place you come for happy hour and slurp margaritas. Service was swift. Food prepared fairly quick. Looked like a nice mom and pop type place with good eats. I hope it doesnt change.

I ordered a chicken burrito and my wife had shrimp fajitas. The waitress was very nice and she suggested a (non-alcoholic they don't serve alcohol) drink to us because my wife wasn't sure what she wanted. Not sure what it was but it had kinda milky and was excellent. The food came and wow! Very flavorful. We both took home the leftover for later. We both left full and happy. I don't often think to say anything but to the waitress but I had to tell the chef, "muey Bueno". Definitely stop in here!

I have worked in the food industry for years, so do I understand people have bad days. But when a mistake was made by the cashier who took me and my Boyfriends order was made a mistake on what style of taco we wanted for our to go order. We brought the food untouched back to there establishment and kindly let them know they're mistake and to please fix our tacos. He was argued with and completely disrespected because of her mistake and was treated as if we were trying to get free tacos when he brought our receipt in and showed them the mistake. But because we understand mistakes are made today he went back and got us tacos again with a friend. He ordered our food and some food for his friend and they kindly stepped aside and waited. Two orders were taken after his and their food was made and given to them for them to leave. And when he finally got his food it was after the portion his friend ordered was given and ate by him. He then asked for sauce and lemons because he was not provided with any, the lemons were thrown at him and he was argued with about sauces that he needed to pay for them even though they are provided for free with his food. While putting his sauces and lemons in the bag he was yelled at that he needed to eat his food outside they're restaurant if they ordered to go after his friend had already ate his to go food on the same order in the establishment because the food my boyfriend ordered for us was purposefully being held until his friend asked for it. The staff in there should feel ashamed that they are treating specific customers like this who are coming to support their business almost every week. Next time we go IF we do I will be going in myself to speak with the manager because this all around was a horrible treatment that we have had not once but twice and it's starting to feel targeted because my boyfriend is black. They had no problem giving his Hispanic friend his food to eat in the restaurant, even tho ordered together. But my boyfriend was told to leave and eat his food outside as if he would have wanted to stay in eat in a place who targets black people who come to spend their hard earned money. I hope they do better and god bless them! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE. Cashiers name is: Lizette

As far as fast food style tacos go, however, they can't be beat. I always go for the crispy beef taco. I like the hood garlic flavor their beef has. I also always go for the guac. So often, in fact, that the owner has referred to me as "The Guac Guy" a time or two. Beyond serving up quick, cheap, and relatively large tacos, Taco Town has some of the best customer service you will find at a fast food spot. The owner always greets you with a smile, an upbeat energy, and a can do attitude. If you have a problem or a strange request, they will do all they can to make sure you end your visit satisfied. Overall, they're a great and unique business that I will continue to support so long as they stick around.

I settled into a $6 steak burrito on the go. Do they have cilantro? Nope, don't bother asking. Would I like hot sauce? Absolutely. I get home and look for my hot sauce expecting a small round of some type of tomato, onion, cilantro hot sauce concoction. Nope! It was a condiment soy sauce looking packet that said "hot sauce" and looked like a watery Tabasco. I unroll my burrito from the foil. One look at my flour tortilla and I could tell this wasn't even warmed up on a press. Tortilla was cool to touch. Opened burrito to put on Tabasco and the yellow cheese wasn't even melted or close to melting. The refried beans were nothing special. La Preferida probably has more taste to it. The steak was so-so and not too hot. Overall, these things are what I would expect in a solid burrito. I knew I should have went to Taco Burrito Mexico as soon as I heard "no cilantro"! Lesson learned.
