Very cute spot along the Beltline. We walked in on a beautiful Saturday afternoon and I expected a long wait. We were seated immediately with the choice of sitting inside or out. We had 2 young kids and where the hostess sat us was perfect. We were greeted immediately Jennifer J. We needed a moment to review the menu so I order a Campari Spritz in the meantime. It was a refreshing beverage but I'm more of a cocktail gal so it was just okay. For our meal, we ordered a Caesar salad, the Stracchinella pizza and fries for the kiddos. We ordered a gluten-free pizza, which we've had here before without any issues. Unfortunately, someone in our group who has celiac disease had a bad reaction after eating it, and we had to change our weekend plans as a result. We called the restaurant simply to make them aware, and they mentioned there are new staff in the kitchen and they may have not used a clean countertop. The service was excellent and everyone was very kind, but we recommend those with celiac disease use caution when ordering the gluten-free pizza! read more

Truly one of the best patios in the city, I have passed this spot for years, and finally gave in. It did not disappoint. We stopped in on a Sunday afternoon, and took a seat on their half-covered patio for al fresco dining. We started with drinks- a spicy marg for her and delicious negroni sbagliato for me, and then dug into our gorgeous and elegantly plated caprese with the freshest tomatoes and creamiest mozzarella, dressed with nice Italian olive oil. Her pizza bianca was delicious and delightfully smoky, while my tuna panozzi sandwich, with a side caesar salad, was tasty, light, and refreshing. I have never wrote a review, I'm not the type of person to complain but I had to because of how bad this meal was. This food was so disappointing. The best part of the meal was our "starter" which resembled McDonald's french fries. Next comes out the squid, which was like chewing on rubber with crumbs and no flavor. Then we decided to try the Funghi, which looked like forbidden chicken tenders , and tasted so bad we wanted to spit it out. Lastly, we tried the pizza, we got a simple order of marinara pizza with prosciutto. A very simple order, that was also frankly un edible. To put it frankly, it tasted like a cup of salt, and the prosciutto was also like rubber. I'm very unpleased with the entire experience, it's hard to mess up Italian food. read more

There are seating options outside, inside in the dining area, and then off on the side bar. The bartender was fun and greeted me with a smile. The menu had a little of everything but I decided on a salad with added grilled shrimp while I sipped on a classic Aperol spritz. I have been a loyal customer at Fritti Pizza in Atlanta, Georgia, visiting four times over the past year. As someone with a severe onion allergy (including onion powder and all forms of onion) and gluten intolerance, eating out is always a challenge. Until now, Friiti Pizza was my safe haven to be able to enjoy pizza! We drive 45 minutes for me to be able to eat here but it has always been worth it until today. Every previous visit, the staff and management went above and beyond to accommodate me. Their pizza sauce is onion-free, they offer a gluten-free crust, and the kitchen staff always took extra precautions to avoid cross-contamination. Management would even come to my table to reassure me, and the chefs would prepare my pizza with clean utensils and sometimes even fresh-cut vegetables. I always felt safe, cared for, and even a bit pampered--like a princess! Tonight, however, was a heartbreaking experience. It was my husband's 71st birthday, and we were celebrating with our children and grandchild. The waitress took note of my allergies as usual, but then a new manager (who has only been there for four months) came out to speak with me. He explained, in so many words, that they could not accommodate my allergies--something that had never been an issue before. I was told they could not clean utensils or surfaces, or even put down a piece of foil to grill some shrimp for me. Everything was a flat "no." There was no willingness to help, and no solutions offered except eating lettuce. This was not only disappointing, but also confusing, given my past wonderful experiences. Fritti Pizza was the only place in Atlanta where I could get a safe, delicious pizza, and pick up takeout with confidence. Now, it seems the new management is unwilling to accommodate customers with food allergies and sensitivities. Sadly, my family and I will not be returning, and I have already let my friends know about my experience. Fritti Pizza has lost a loyal customer and several others as well. I hope management reconsiders their approach so that others don't have to leave as disappointed as we did. read more

I came to celebrate a friends birthday and had a great time! I really had to study the menu as I wasn't familiar with too many items, but as they arrived I wasn't disappointed! My favorite appetizer was the Bresaola della Valtellina which was air dried beef atop arugula, Parmesan and an olive oil lemon blend. I tasted some of the other appetizers at the table as well and everything was delicious and distinguished from some of the other Italian restaurants in the city...*cough* Taverna. I ordered 2 rounds of the Jungle juice which is basically a rum punch and a Bianca pizza with sausage added on. Arrived around 745pm for dinner. No reservation required. Hostess was a young Black woman, not rude but also not warm & welcoming. Sipping on drink right before we walked up to the podium. We were seated inside back left corner. It was a decent 2 seater table. Clean. We were warned ahead of time by another patron that our male server "might be a little off or on something". Excuse me?! Our server was attentive and professional. We ordered calamari, charcuterie board, margarita pizza, salmon and steak + 2 bottles of moscato. The tomato sauce on the pizza was amazing plus the dough and mozzarella it was what I was expecting. Salmon (medium well) and steak (medium rare) :) The prosciutto was really fresh and good. We sat near the outer end of the opened garage window. I really enjoyed my time there especially with the food. The moscato complimented the dishes. Went here for a nice lunch a couple of weeks ago and had a disappointing experience. We all ordered Aperol Spritz, had them brought out to the table, and then had them dumped all over me as our waitress lost balance and dumped the tray. Accidents happen, which we get, even helped the staff clean up the mess, and said it's no biggie that we've all done it before. I got cleaned up and they remade the drinks, kinda. They forgot one of the drinks and assumed we just finished one of them after they all had just been dumped on me. Manager came out and offered dry cleaning and etc but I declined since my pants and shirt dry easily and were dark colors. Food was great and we enjoyed what we could. By the time the checks came out we all were charged for every drink that got dumped on me considering the extra time it even took for them to come out. We received all of our food way before we could even enjoy our true first round of drinks. Safe to say, I'd never go back. Fritti for dinner after a very filling brunch. My friend wanted to take me somewhere else, but they only had 9 pm available and that was just not going to work for me. We ended up here which was fine. I was under the impression that it was a pizza and pasta place, but there wasn't much pasta so I had to get the pizza. The pizza was pretty good. I got a moment with cheese, capers, and anchovies. The place was a bit packed with people so the service was delayed, but a bit too delayed. My drink was forgotten and I had to ask for something many times. I thought at first it was my New York always on the run mentality and really did try to be patient, but my friends had their drinks so many moments before I did and when I asked for my drink, they simply forgot... We came here right after getting engaged as my fiancé absolutely loves pizza. She has been here a few times and always ends up getting the Maialona as it has a great amount of toppings that make it delicious. The meat that comes on it was so fresh, and you could tell it was more special than typical "grocery meat" if you will. I got the Bianca and was really impressed with how cheesy, but still authentic tasting it was. I also loved how you could eat the entire 6 slices and not feel like you were going to be sick as a dog afterwards. Rating a 4 only because of the flies on the patio. Although the screen was down there were an annoying amount of flies and other tiny insects. One even landed in my friends glass of wine. Now in to the good part. Nya(spelling) was a great server. She took drink orders as our party of 8 trickled in. The food was superb. There were no complaints from anyone. My calzone was gigantic, had leftovers for lunch today. Several people had pizza to carry home because of the size and amount of ingredients. Very thankful for the. Alert Parking and Mr. Brian was very friendly and quick in taking care of us dropping and picking up our cars.
