Delicious and affordable Italian food. But let's talk about how this is the most underrated brunch spot in Atlanta. Exceptional service always, [[HIGHLIGHT]]patio seating, spacious dining room and cute bar area[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], bottomless mimosas, Italian fusion breakfast. Like they literally have breakfast pizzas. My favorite place for brunch on a Saturday!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Really cute neighborhood restaurant with delicious options![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We gathered for my nephews birthday and it was a large party of 11 but we were treated with great service! We started off with appetizers- calamari, fried ravioli, meatballs, and mussels. Everything came out promptly and the perfect temperature. I would give all apps except the mussels a 10/10. the mussels had good flavor but it was in a white wine sauce that seemed slightly too watery. For main course I enjoyed the Chicken Marsala and fettuccini. The marsala was a great flavorful wine mushroom balsamic gravy bathing thin tender chicken cutlets. It paired great with their house Cabernet. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We had a great time as far as food and ambiance.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Opting for an early dinner at Osteria proved to be an excellent decision. While in the area, I decided to give this establishment a try, Upoun arrival, I received a warm greeting and was promptly seated at the bar, as I was dinning solo. Megan took my orders, and I started with the delectable warm bread basket. For the main course, I chose the Tuscan chicken pasta which was crafted with a bold and delightful flavors. As it relate to parking, there's a parking lot behind the restaurant, and across the street. Since the restaurant is located in a walkable community, there's also the option for street parking too. The atmoshphere is family friendly, you can come as you are or with a big party! I look forward to trying some of other entree and holiday specials that's highlighted on the holiday menu

Overall I liked Osteria 832, the service is quick, the food was pretty good, the portions are large, and it's reasonably priced! There's also free parking in the back which is great. I got the gorgozola fettuccine and liked it although it truly did have a very strong gorgonzola taste, which was a little overpowering at times, but I'm sure other people might love this!

Ten to fifteen years ago, we loved going to Osteria 832 for brunch. Their veggie sausage and mascarpone/fruit compote were out of this world delicious. My husband loves Italian food, so we decided to drop in for a Father's Day dinner. We were sat right away and there was plenty of seating available. Nothing memorable about the service, but that's fine. Here's where the disappointments lie: - husband's cocktail was served up with a gnat swimming in it. Not a gigantic deal, but we did ask to swap for new cocktail. In fact, there were a lot of gnats flying throughout the dining room. Perhaps typical for summertime and just from leaving windows/doors open? -husband loves chicken Parmesan and we've done a pretty decent tour around the city to taste the best chicken parm. Let me tell you without hesitation, this ain't it. Unless you like chicken tenders with forgettable spaghetti and sauce. -meatball app was okay. Heavier on the veal. Two slices of focaccia seemed a bit stingy for three meatballs and sauce sopping. -rigatoni and bolognese was abysmal. Bolognese sauce was destroyed by nutmeg or cinnamon and I couldn't taste anything beyond it. -kid's Mac and cheese was fine. A level above boxed Kraft, but it was pretty watery. The kid's menu was a printed paper with areas to color, but we weren't provided with any crayons. Maybe they were out? Ultimately, I love the memories I had there and happy to see brunch is returning soon, but as the saying goes sometimes, you can't go home again.

For an appetizer, we got the mussels which were probably some of the best mussels I have ever had using the bread to soak up the sauce was divine. Truly delicious. For the pasta, I got the the tortelli de vitello which was so good. Some of us at the table also tried the shrimp linguine which was delicious and so fresh as well as the chicken parm which was MASSIVE and came with a great side of pasta. We also tried the little pasta shells/ears with sausage and broccolini and it was delish. Truly these dishes were stunning and cannot wait to have it again! To wrap up the dinner, we got some coffees and the tiramisu... Which was delicious and as stunning as everyone says. Overall, this meal was divine. The vibes of the restaurant really bring it up because it is so calm and classic and just such a great place for a lovely meal. 10/10

Needless to say, we enjoyed our experience here for dinner. Husband and I came to celebrate my birthday - he was a bit upset they didn't offer anything for my birthday even though he notated it on the reservation, but I didn't really care for it as I don't like having the attention on me. This place is hard to miss as it's right on Roswell Rd. There is complimentary valet parking available, but there's also free parking at a deck just a few steps away from the restaurant entrance. We were greeted by the hostess as soon as we walked in and the restaurant was already very busy for a Saturday 6 pm dinner. Our server was fine, and the food was decent. I opted for the blackberry fiz mocktail, which was super sweet at first, but with a good mix, it was super refreshing. For starters, we shared the eggplant balls (a must get here!) and the bread service. The eggplant balls were definitely shareable and were probably our favorite thing we ate. The bread service you could probably skip - we wish it was served with vinegar instead of just oil and an olive tapenade. For entrees, I ordered one of the dinner specials, grilled branzino served with broccolini and potatoes. My husband ordered the ravioli. I really enjoyed the branzino, it was tender and the skin was cooked crispy. I loved that the broccolini was charred enough, but wish the potatoes were cooked a bit more. The capers added the needed saltiness to the dish, though I wish this was served with lemon or something to balance out the flavors. My husband enjoyed his ravioli but found it too heavy with the cream sauce. We thought this was a decent place for dinner, but nothing really stood out besides the eggplant balls.

Our incredible server Kagen (sp?) walked us through each section of the menu absolutely perfectly. As a result we ended up ordering some of his favs from across the menu. In my photos you can see what we ordered, but my recommendation is to simply ask your server what they like and you'll undoubtably get something stellar. However the server we had tonight was one of the worst experiences I've had especially for a place that is trying to sell an upscale dining environment he greeted the table by saying (after we asked how he was doing) "I'm doing f-ing horrible I'm tired and feel like sh*t we had such a busy night last night" he was not very knowledgeable about menu or drinks and his overall appearance gave very much unhygienic he also forgot to put in our food order so we waited double the time and said that since we already had appetizers and the other table did not have any food that we could wait to order food, also just assumed how someone in my group wanted there steak cooked so had to wait for that to be redone, he was all over the place and did not check in on us very often we needed things like refills or salt pepper etc. and went without because bad service I don't think he should have been working he obviously did not want to be there he also failed to mention that the kitchen was closing so we did not get to try the desserts. There were a couple of other things but don't want a 5 page review I cannot remember his name but a taller white guy with a messy bun and tired eyes. We still left a tip because that's what you do when you go out but if he treated his other tables like he did us I wouldn't be surprised if we were the only ones that tipped. After expressing that I was open to any variety of dishes, in hopes of venturing out from my "usual" of chicken parmigiana, Linda made several very thoughtful recommendations. I am personally not a huge fan of mushroom taste, but the dish was not mushroom forward at all and the Marsala sauce was perfect. I also tried the cannellini beans after both Linda and her counterparts insisted that it's the most underrated dish on the menu and there were absolutely correct! I could have eaten the beans as my main dish and been perfectly happy. I finished it all off with the tiramisu, which was the perfect balance of sweetness and a very authentic taste about it! Anyone who knows me personally knows that I don't eat leftovers, but I reheated my leftovers on the stove and it was just as great as the night before - making the dishes well worth their value!
