If I could give 0 stars, I literally would. We needed to have our vehicle serviced for a recall notice regarding the fuel tank, so we brought in our recall notice. (The person who was overall responsible for putting in the service order was named Manny, by the way.) Manny took our information, told my husband he would order a fuel tank and sealant (just in case) and call him when the parts came in. In the meantime, Manny told my husband he inspected the vehicle that day and determined he would have to replace the tank. Then Manny told my husband that it would take them 5 days to perform the recall to replace the tank. When asked if we could get a rental for this time period, Manny told my husband we would not be getting a rental vehicle during those 5 days. He told us we would be offered a shuttle service instead. After my husband explained to them that his wife (me) is the primary driver and would need to drop off/pick up our daughter from school and our other vehicle would be with him at his work and is not safe for a child to ride in at this time, he still insisted no rental for us... even though I would be the one to drop off the vehicle for service either with/without my daughter. Furthermore, 5 DAYS to either drop the tank & replace it or flush it and seal it??!! No. Completely unrealistic service time. Although we were still trying to negotiate a rental, we were going to let them perform the service because it's a recall and it needs to be done. We can't go anywhere else but a Ford dealership, plus, they already had our paperwork and said they would order parts. Fast forward to a week later, we call, no parts have come in yet and Manny says he only ordered the sealant instead of the tank and sealant combo that we were initially told he was ordering. He said he wanted us to bring it in for them to check out the tank, and if they need to order a tank then they will do so after that. (So clearly he didn't look at our tank the first time my husband came in with the vehicle and lied to my husband about inspecting it.) Fast forward one more week, we call and the sealant has not arrived yet.... 4 total weeks later (today) I call and inquire about my recall number so I can check this out myself and see what needs to be done. Jim answers the phone in the service department, kindly gives me my recall information. Then he asks me if we were told parts would be ordered or what we were told. So I tell him that we were told that a tank and sealant were ordered originally, then we called and were told only the sealant was ordered. He tells me he can't find the parts order in the system, so he's going to walk back (wherever) and confirm. He gets back on the phone and informs me no parts have been ordered to service our vehicle by Manny or anyone else. He offers to order the parts for me and get our vehicle in to be serviced for both recalls. I decline his help and tell him I will be going to another dealership. NEVER have I EVER had a dealership 1) Lie to me about parts being ordered or services rendered 2) Refuse to give me a rental vehicle when I have a 3 year old daughter, this is our primary vehicle, AND their estimated service time was 5 DAYS and 3) Be so rude and inconsiderate as to not even meet one single need parts & service wise or customer service wise. read more

Worst customer service, no communication and get bounced around from transfer to transfer and got hung up on twice! For my first service as a new customer this has been my worst experience ever! No one seems to know where my car is at or Status of simple oil change. Was calling them to find out if I need to catch a ride or shuttle is available? My Job is closing in 20 minutes and no one has an answer! To make matters worst, service tech straight out says " I don't even remember this guy". I tell u what sir. If you put the phone down and look at me in the face when u talk to me and ask me the proper question you just might remember my name! made appt. for my Explorer w/Alejandro for 8/4/2015 so I thought. When I arrived at the service dept. I informed one of the techs that I had an appt. w/Alejandro for 8:00am, the women checked her computer then stated I had no appt. scheduled and asked Alejandro why, he did not respond but approached my vehicle asking what can I do for you. I informed him that we spoke on the phone and I explained the THREE concerns I needed addressed with my vehicle. Needless to say he was clueless and had no recall of our phone conversation. I reiterated the services requested. Alejandro then stated he would call me with outcome of my service needs. I did receive a call back and I was informed that the recall request was taken care of and that parts where ordered for other request and that I could pick up my vehicle. When I picked up my vehicle and invoice for service, I read it when I got home and noticed there was no mention of my request for rattling roof rack to be looked at. This is where there professionalism went out the door! I recalled Alejandro he was very rude and disregarded I WAS THE CUSTOMER stating that THEY "FRITTS FORD SERVICE DEPT DID NOT HAVE TIME FOR THIS" That's when I decided to speak with Kyle Klein service mgr. He was nice enough to listen to my concerns w/employee and requested I bring my vehicle back at 8:30 am on 8/13/2015 that he would be there and take care of things. I arrive at service dept. at requested date and time of service mgr to find out the service mgr is no where to be found. SECOND UNPROFESSIONAL RESPONSE BY FRITTS FORD SERVICE DEPT. However Danny came up to me and stated he would have it taken care of. which he did. I write this review because the first time I brought my vehicle there I had the same problem, thinking it was just an off day I rescheduled service, but they proved me wrong. Fritts Ford seems to feel they can pick and choose what problems to repair and not to repair. Their service department is a joke. I have purchased 2 vehicles from Fritts with the Preminum extended warranty/service package. EVERYTIME I take my car for a repair it is denied. EVERYTIME. It doesn't matter what it is, it gets denied. They tried telling me that my standard bumper to bumper warranty was 18,000 miles. I took my car to another Ford dealer and they were able to fix my car using the warranty and told me that bumper to bumper is 36,000 miles. I brought in my car to be serviced for an oil leak (under warranty). I was told it would take half a day. I got a call about an hour later saying that it could be the following day or the day after (which is fine). After that phone call though, there was no communication about the vehicle. I was told I'd get a call before closing on the status and didn't. I called the next morning, was told it would be an hour. Heard nothing, called back early afternoon. Told that it would be an hour. Went down to the dealership only to wait about 3 hours... with no one even checking in with me once I was there in person. A customer should not have to be the one reaching out to find out the status of the vehicle... especially when it is taking multiple days and a customer is without a car. We looked all over the I.E. for a used (off lease) hybrid. Accord, Camry, Prius, Fusion, etc. Most have 25k to 30k miles. Not a lot are available; you have to be lucky to be there the day one becomes available. Tried to make several deals but they wanted too much $. At Fritz, almost made one, but couldn't. Asked about a new Fusion Hybrid. They will deal more on new cars and we bought one. The sales people were good to deal with. No hassle, no pushing, no brow-beating; they simply do what you are doing to make a deal, while they have to make a profit. When I wouldn't go up to what they wanted on the used Fusion, they just said they could not sell at my offer. No recriminations, no grinding. They were cordial through all the negotiations. Dont buy from this car dealer they take your money and after want nothing to do with you. Awful customer service. My husband bought a 2017 ford raptor for 91,000, includes 10,000 mark up he purchased the 8 year extended warranty, eckbond, and low jack. Two days after purchase he took it in to their service department to get eckbond clear coat and low jack installed. A ford employee hit the bumper, scratched the side driver mirror, and made a small tear on steering wheel. I was very upset told them i wanted a new truck they denied me and said they would fix all damages so i am stuck with a 91,000 raptor that was damaged and fixed by the people who sold it to me. I am so unhappy very upset. Also to top it off my windshield had to be replaced because of a factory defect. All this going back and fort to dealer fixing one thing after another on a brand new vehicle is the worst experience of my life. I have been calling leaving messages to the sales manager for two weeks now and to this day haven't heard from them. Both service and sales management don't want to deal with it. This was the first time I had ever been to the dealership yet Jim treated me like I had been coming there for years. They gave me a ride back to work and then called me later to tell me that they needed to keep the car while they received approval for the repairs. He set me up with a rental car and even picked me up from work so I could get to the rental car place. Jim kept me informed along the way and made the whole experience very easy for me. I scheduled an appointment and when I arrived the vehicle was waiting for me and the paperwork prepared. We maid a deal in writing credit and everything was good and the paper work was started truck sent out to wash and gas it up was looking to be a good day. then when we went to the finance department this is 5.5 to 6hr in to finish the final paperwork the man had a different price then I was told bye 100.00 a month he went to look into it and came back and told me he was sorry the sales department maid a mistake and sold the car for too little and I cannot have it for the price because they would not make money . I was disappointed and mad I spent all that time doing the dance and because it was not in there favor I was out of luck. but look at all the people they screw each month into purchasing cars they cannot afford or a car they didn't come in for. I called and ask to see if the 40 points inspection included to check the rear wheel alignment the guy said yes that they can check it for me and to see one of the advisers and to come on by, so I did and the adviser told me to check alignment was not part of the 40-point inspection, to leave the car or make an appointment for next Monday, I ask have much its going to cost me, he did not answer me, I was ignored. I purchased my 2014 ford flex here 1 year ago I have had so many issues ! My tailgate always never opens correctly and sensors keep messing up. I have taken it in to get fixed and a few weeks later the same issue. And when I call and try to explain to them what's going on I always have an issue. When we bought the car they told us anytime we have to do maintenance they would give us a rental. Well that's BS!!!! They tell you to make an appt and then they will call you to tell you what's wrong with the car then they will offer a rental. I mean what's the point of making an appt I asked him. Richie in service told me it's just to give them a heads up I am coming. It doesn't mean my car will be checked that day!!!! Like seriously I have 2 kids and live 40mins away I don't have all this time to keep going back to get stuff fixed. I explained that before the guy didnt give me an issue with the rental and richies response was well he doesnt work here anymore!!!! Thats probably why he doesnt cause he did stuff like that. I mean first of all I took it and supposedly they fixed the issue and now same issues are happening!? It's a big inconvenience and he was very rude, i tried telling him and asking him questions and he was talking to people in the backround and ignoring me. I've had taken it in 2 times already for my tailgate issue. I'm very unhappy about my certified used 2014 ford flex I purchased 1 year ago. I have never experienced the lies and false promises more than any other dealership then Fritts Ford, specially by the internet service and a gentleman by the name of Cole. The guy purposely hung up on me as I was speaking and from the moment I answered the phone, he was rude. And before this, they had me drive 50 miles to look at a car. As I was almost there, they called me to tell me they had lost the vehicle. After some time searching, they finally found it - it was getting repaired. When the car was finally found, they promised me they would call once the car was repaired so that I could purchase the vehicle. But guess what? when they did call (Cole; the gentleman from earlier)) told me the vehicle had already been purchased. I recommend that nobody go to Fritts Ford dealership in Riverside. On September 14, 2017 I brought my 2015 F150 Lariat (which I purchased from Fritts Ford) in for service and a multi point inspection, before a long trip to Scottsdale Arizona. Everyone was nice and I had my vehicle back rather quickly for a dealership. About half way to Scottsdale I needed to use my windshield wipers, and discovered that the driver side wiper was shot and needed to be replaced. I know it's not a big deal to replace the wiper but my thought was if the technician did not check the wipers what else did they not check or do? I called the dealership several times and asked for the service managers. I always got an answering machine, so I left a message (messages!) and no one every go back to me! This is my third vehicle I have purchased from Fritts Ford and probably my last, than goodness there is lots of competition out there that will appreciate my business! read more

I took my car in May and dropped off my car yesterday 8/5/15 giving them the benefit of the doubt and their customer service sucked the first time and sucked the second time. I made an appt BOTH times too. I called on Wednesday 8/5/15 for an appt on Thursday 8/6/15 at 230pm. Took my vehicle in at 2:20pm. It's now 4:45pm 8/7/15 and have not heard from them. So I call and I was told that my car has not been looked at and they will get to it on Monday. So I asked to speak with a manager and I was told the manager was on the phone. The female gets back on the phone after being on hold for about 5 minutes and I was told the manager is not even in. So of course she starts apologizing.. blah blah blah, they don't have any concern about how I will get to work on Monday, all I'm told is I will get a phone call back by the main dude on Monday. Customer service means absolutely nothing to them, you drive up and service writers don't even come to you, you have to go to them, and you don't get follow up phone calls to give status on what's going on with your car. Whether my complaint on Yelp or letter to corporate means anything I will never take my service to them again! This place sucks! They don't even deserve a 1 star! read more

I took my car there cuz it was over heating and the next day I called 6 times and left 3 voicemails to get and update and they took 4 hours from my last call to reply. When they did they told me it was going to b over $3000 to fix ( radiator, water pump, cooling fan, engine mounts, and battery cords). I told him that he said it was most likely a blown hoes and he stated that he never told me that or would ever say that. I called the Ford dealership I go to all the time for a second opinion and my records show that that my radiator has never leaked which DON TUCKER ( the service guy) has said was leaking for a long time. So I took my car to the other dealership and the raidiator is perfectly fine and the cooling fan was working great. And for all the work and more like new battery oil change serpentine belt water pump and engine mounts would come to 1600 total. Don't go to this dealership they will scam u and take your money. They told me to not get the repairs and just buy a new car. Horrible customer service and diagnostic!!!! read more

Fritz ford is horrible. I will never buy a ford again. My car is a 2011 ford fiesta. it has a major recall. The clutch in the transmission slips and causes the car to come out of gear. We were never notified of the issue from ford. Our car made it to the dealer barley. It has been sitting in service since September 17th. No one has even looked at our car yet. They will not even pay for a rental car. I just returned the car today because my bill is over $700 for a car.(don't go to enterprise off Indiana) I just keep getting told they are busy and will only pay for a rental for 3 days once the car is determined to be a transmission issue. I have never had a dealer treat their customers so bad and put they out. I have always had a dealer give me a car to drive ESPECIALLY when they are the ones who are behind due to a recall. I am paying the price for the dealer not able to handle a major recall. NEVER AGAIN WILL BUY A FORD!!! read more

Absolutely Dreadful: My son took his F150 truck into Fritts Ford for fairly a routine problem (plugs and 2 coils). After picking up the incredible $800 bill he drove the truck home. The service department had closed by now. He immediately noticed the engine warning light was on and reported it to the front desk. On getting home he noticed the service department had changed his oil. He had not authorized the oil change as he prefers to do his own oil changes, and always uses synthetic oil. Fritts had used ordinary oil. Needless to say he complained to the service manager the following Monday morning. Bring it in said the manager and my wife took it in -- my son had top borrow our car to get to work. They told my wife it would take 1 -1 1/2 hours. She rang me after a couple of hours -- the truck was still parked where she dropped it. Both my son and I rang the service manager and told him what we thought of Fritts service. Do you normally treat customers like this. no he replied. In the end the shuttle brought my wife home. Incidentally the coffee in the waiting lounge was not complimentary i.e. you had to pay, and there wasn't even a doughnut in site. Also the truck was not valeted. We take our other cars to other dealers (Honda and Mazda) where coffee, doughnuts, and car wash are always complimentary. The manager said Fritts would bring the truck home, which saved her spending more time picking it up, although there was some considerable confusion with the limo driver who had already arrived at our house to take her to Frittz. When the truck arrived she said "where's the remote ?" It was separate from the key. She had handed both in when she dropped the truck off in the morning. The driver had dropped the remote, fortunately inside the truck, where my wife eventually found it. The cause of the engine warning light: Frittz had forgotten to plug something back in. Refund for the unauthorized oil change: No they just gave him a voucher fro a free oil change next time around. Remember he prefers to do his own oil changes. Do yourself a favor: Even if you own a Ford take you vehicle to Mazda or Honda. Or you can pay a very expensive bill and get lousy service. : read more

In the spring of 2005, my wife and I walked into Fritts Ford looking to purchase a red 2004 convertible Mustang, which was for her birthday. She saw a silver 2005 mustang on the showroom floor and needless to say we drove off in it. Before you say... Dang big baller!!! We still own the vehicle to this day! So all these many years later, (she does not get a car yearly for her birthday by the way) I figured she's been putting up with my nonsense for A LOT of years and her birthday is rapidly approaching, so what to do? On Monday Memorial Day I was passing by the Fritts Ford dealership, I seen sale signs of red tag and I decided to go in and check it out, but when I asked the dealer what's the special your running for Memorial Day for leasing a car and he told me 200$ down and then 200$ a month for 36 months. Sounds good right?? Well I went ahead and released all my information and including my social security because this was a serious deal and I wanted it. After I filled out everything I had to leave and I was told to come back in the morning to sign the contract. I was bringing my Toyota Camry trade in. When I got there I was told to find out what the pay out for my Toyota would be, then I went to the office and the financial manager was there. But the contract was totally different than what we had agreed on I really couldn't believe that I was reading a totally different contract then what I was told the day before I decided not to go ahead with this deal because this place totally tries to scam you you will hear what you want but when you go to sign it make sure you read all the paperwork because they change up the deals all the time read more
