I am rewriting my review to warn people about custom ordering vehicles from Fritts Ford of Riverside. Go elsewhere! Our family has been very loyal to Ford but the greed from grimy dealerships is ruining the brand. We have an f-150, a Raptor, and we ordered 2 Mavericks. I placed an preorder for a Ford Maverick from Michael Hatter back in June 2021 and after 10 long months with zero communication, we finally got the call that our truck was delivered. I got off work early and headed straight to Riverside (a 1 hour drive) Everything seemed great, we arrived and saw the truck with the color and every specific option that we chose. It was the only Maverick on the lot. This is before we realized that Fritts is one of those very grimy dealerships with scandalous sales managers. Specifically, Jessie Lamas. With a 750 credit score they said that we would receive a 7% interest rate?? And they would not honor the rates going on at the time of the order. After we told them that we would rather get financed with our own bank and come within the next couple days with a better interest rate, Jessie said that they would sell our allocation right from under us to the next person who wanted it and for an added dealer markup. We had to haggle and do all of the typical sleazy dealership stuff while we just waited for them to give us a better rate. I almost paid cash for the entire thing to avoid the situation which I did not even want to do. This is how they treat paying, loyal customers that patiently wait 10 months for their custom orders! After the whole situation, it completely ruined the experience for us and my mom almost didn't even want to get the truck. It was no longer fun and exciting, just very stressful and it left a bad taste in our mouth. FYI if you have a custom order from Ford you can still contact Ford directly and change which dealer receives your allocation. If you are looking to preorder any cars such as the Maverick, Bronco, or Lightning do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. read more

First I picked up my work truck from Fritts and even though I'm not making a purchase they did not treat me like a customer. Second when I did go to buy a car they lied to us multiple times about a used Subaru we couldn't make a deal and that's fine I was asking a lot. The car we came for wasn't ready so we came back when they called us and sounded very nice. It was a nice car with very low mileage but they are 5k above kbb. I wanted the car so I'm offering 500 above kbb an they wouldn't make deal . I'm not the type to pay above the value not just kbb but cars.com and car gurus all agree it's overpriced. They piled the salesman switch on me and I don't like that tatctict I was down hill . That car sit there over priced they can pay hundreds in then probably sell it for what I offered 500 above kbb . Or sell it now without spending hundreds on we will see if they come to their senses I'm coming with 20k cash offer out the door the car is worth 16k on the high end of a fair deal. I brought my car in for an oil change. I know I can take it anywhere for that, but since I bought it here I figured they'd take better care of me. Nope. About 30 min after I dropped it off, Steve called me and said I needed my transmission fluid changed, radiator fluid, and needed to change my air filters because they were "filthy" I said well that's interesting considering YOUR guys changed my filters less than a year ago when I last had the oil changed. So how can they be filthy? He begins back peddling and saying maybe I drove through some bad air quality. Lol yeah ok. Transmission fluid doesn't need to be changed until you're at, at least, 100k miles. I'm at 89k. So wrong again. Radiator fluid? I got a brand new radiator 18 months ago because of an accident. So it won't need any fluid work done until 100k AFTER it's been replaced. It's been 20k miles since it was replaced. So nope, didn't need that either. So out of the three things they said I needed, I actually needed NONE of them done. I told Steve it seemed like they assumed as a woman, I didn't know anything about my car and they were trying to take advantage of me. He got irritated after that and would only give short responses. I asked to speak to a manager. But he was busy. I've talked to 4 separate people in the 3 weeks since this happened. They all said Kyle the manager/supervisor would get right back to me. The notice said to take it to the dealer for inspection. I come by on Monday, they're packed and I'm told to come back the next day at 0700. But they're recalling it, and you didn't even LOOK!! "Listen, you need to rEsPeCt ~ME~ ok?" Why should I? You can't fulfil promises ("Come back at 7 tomorrow!"), dont live up to the Ford dealer standards (no loaners). All day long, for a vital safety inspection? This review is strictly related to the service department. I have two ford trucks that I have brought here on different occasions. I only came here because of location as I live less than a mile from the dealership. I'm now annoyed with their service dept. and will drive to Sunrise (not much better) where I bought my truck to have it serviced for now on. What could bother me that much you ask? I don't have any issues with the actual service performed. It is fine and probably a tad better than Sunrise. My real and only problem with their service dept. is that they DO NOT GREET YOU UPON ARRIVAL! If I'm spending $70 for an oil change and hundreds more for a service, your service dept. better come out and greet me within a nominal time frame. I wait on an average of 10 minutes for someone to come out from their little hidden row of desks in their kiosks. THIS SHOULD NOT BE! Have a greeter for heaven's sake. Act like you care and show some joy in your job to come greet customers. Why do I have to go door to door like I'm playing Wack-a-mole with service advisors!? They all talk and act like their busy until you walk into "their space" and give them an attitude then they ask if you need help. If this isn't the intent on how your want your service dept. ran, then reorganize your service dept. or have someone greeting customers at all times. When I went to get my keys I noticed their cashier had an attitude with the lady in front of me. I heard her bragging about how long she's been with the dealership. I honestly don't know how she has been there that long the way I saw her treating fellow female customers like they were stupid. You're a 45+ year old (closer to mid 50's by her looks) cashier, be kind it doesn't cost anything. You don't make your money at a car dealership selling cars. You make your money servicing them, so act like it! I'll gladly drive 25 miles to go get my trucks serviced somewhere else to avoid attitudes like that. Ford Fritts body shop has the worst customer service, DO NOT work with Victor Rodriguez! Took my Ford 350 for body repairs after an accident to make sure all parts were being replaced with original ford parts. After 30 days, I finally received my vehicle, however, the wheel and tire had not been replaced because the wheel could not be found. I had to find my own wheels to have them all replaced (paid by insurance). Once I forwarded them the wheels, I then received an email stating that they found something similar and that's what Fix Auto was going to replace wheels with. Not the type of service a customer should receive. I ended up with the check and responsible for finding and purchasing my wheels. I picked up my vehicle with a spare, took my truck to get tire placed on old wheel, tire purchased by Fix Auto was the wrong size. I return my vehicle for them to mount and balance once the right size was received, now they're telling me it did not pass alignment but want me to pay for the fix when this was an insurance claim. read more

Be very careful. Michael Marish is a bait and switch player and he told us that his business practice is to mark up interest rates from the banks lowest offer by 2%! We only know that because when he supposedly got a high rate from the bank we asked for proof and that's when it went sideways. We went in to buy 2 cars he lied about who he submitted our application to for financing he lied about the responses. When we pressed him and asked him for proof he told us to get out of his dealership. With over 500 vehicles in our company fleet this isn't our first auto purchase and he is a complete scam artist. I would be very careful. He was discussing our personal financial information loud in the center of the dealership. So Unprofessional. He lost a large sale for his sales person on by trying to be deceiving. Luckily they did say they will honor that price. So now feeling this is a little sketchy... I wasn't going to leave a review, but the recent behavior of Frank C, in the last few hours, irritated me. So here we go. I used to think maybe there's just some angry people out there who write some of the really negative Yelp reviews, but what I've come to is that I just need to trust the negative reviews to save me driving and valuable time, because nine times out of 10 the dealers "they are talking" about are typically disrespectful and manipulative. The other negative reviews on here are true about Fritts Ford. Trust us. They do hide add-ons until they know you're very interested in their car; they come and give you a price and they will lowball your trade-in, in a shameful way. Most people love their cars, but just go to this dealer and they can make you feel like your car is worthless even though it might be actually quite valuable. I'll make this brief... sort of...They added the add-on, which was a tracking device, which I refused to buy, but had to leave the dealer before they would actually take it off the purchase... Before I left the dealer, Frank said he would email right away with the offer. He also had access to my phone to ask if I received the offer via email. I actually had to reach out the next day to say your sales person, Frank did not email me yet. Yvonne said they did email and told me the email they used, which was incorrect, yet I had asked Frank if he had my email and he read it to me before I left, (the correct one). Moreover, they waited till the last minute that I was thinking about possibly purchasing it to tell me they had not paid the registration since April and that I would need to pay additionally the $995 for its registration... That's not the same as tax and licensing. Mark was the only decent person that leveled with me and told me all of these fees that were extra even though Frank had an opportunity to share this with me when I was in his office. This car has been on their lot for 63 days... They know all of the add-ons and registration fees and he's been there over 7 years. Here's what made me write the review... Once they told me about all of these extras and the registration fee, that would add of course more to my loan I decided it probably wasn't some thing I wanted to purchase right now but by 3 o'clock the next day, Frank, followed up with his email that they sold the car and would I be interested in anything else on their lot.... Yeah I'm pretty sure he was pissed that I had told that Internet sales woman Yvonne I didn't appreciate Frank not communicating. Not only that he never responded the next day to my text, to his cell number he gave me, when I asked why he had t sent me the offer. At first I thought he was chill but once I saw some of these antics and no follow through and all of the hidden amounts... I decided they are just playing head games. The take away? Called to schedule a service which included having them take a look at a possible transmission issue. I was told by the scheduler that the "transmission shop" was booked two months out and it would be at least that amount of time to get an appointment. Every time I schedule something other than a routine oil change and rotation they are always several weeks out. This place used to be great and now their service department is a joke. Not sure what the issue is, but how about making the private single vehicle owner the priority and not all the large corporations/government agencies that have contracts for service. Made an appt for some repairs on my vehicle and after having my vehicle for over 6hrs nothing was done. Was I called and told they couldn't do it after all, no. I called for an estimate of a part, I was told that the part had to be ordered and would arrive first thing the next morning but I had to come in and pre-order and pay for the item. So I rushed over, and as soon as the part was ordered, I was told that it wouldn't arrive until next week. Then the price of the part was way more than what I was told over the phone. These are the prequalifying questions we were asked and told: *I'm sorry but our policy is that you have to be 25 years old to test drive these cars. *Asked my age from which I told him I was 28. *Asked for our profession.. We told him we were entrepreneurs My fiancé told him he was being rude and aggressive and he started walking away from us mumbling whatever trash he had to say. My update is only to say that I did get a call from Casey, the salesman, and he sounded very sincere, saddened, and disgusted by what happened (of course, it cost him a sale), and he promised he would beat any deal I came across over President's Day Weekend. Someone else from sales management at Fritt's Ford also called and asked what happened and when we told her, she said, "That shouldn't have happened." Well, no kidding. But no one offered up anything concrete other than a nebulous "better deal". I went to Citrus Ford at the Ontario Auto Center, which admittedly is a volume dealer, but I got a straight price, with money knocked off the MSRP for being a 2022 (what's wrong with you, Fritt's, that's how you should have been doing it), a better rate from Ford Motor Credit (3.9% for 60 months instead of 6%, there was nothing wrong with our credit, again what was up, Fritt's), AND they whittled down the price of an extended warranty so it barely added anything to the payment. THAT is how you sell a car on President's Day Weekend, my friends, if you're trying to clear 2022's off your lot. Citrus Ford is the answer, not Fritt's Ford. Finance tried to get me to pay for something that wasn't agreed to, (The GPS theft system). The second key didn't work and needs to be recoded - It wasn't on their checklist of things to do. No key was supplied for the cargo locks in the bed, And the best, the registration was done improperly and I can't get plates. I received someone else's personalized plates on the registration but not the actual plates. with a word I'd never use. THey've told me I need to go to DMV. They promise they will fix other things but it doesn't happen. If I ran their business I'd likely do a followup call but they don't. I didn't do the survey that gets sent by Ford because I wanted to see if they corrected things before I gave a bad review so I guess now they feel safe.
