Given all the things that had to be done along the way, the manager gave me a good deal on a couple of the other issues that were repaired, which made feel they were very value conscious. I reached out to Dunn initially through a Google search (after hours) and received an email and text message reply within 24hrs. I appreciate the prompt reply. I called the next day and their phone system used an automated AI response initially, but I was then rerouted and able to speak with a service person. They dispatched a technician, diagnosed my issues, sent quote estimates to my email, followed up with a confirmed booking, and came out within the next day with the proper part to service my broken system. Before the serviceman arrived, I received text updates with pictures of who to expect and with their estimated time of arrival. The communication, timeliness and efficient service provided by Dunn was exceptional. They charge a standard assessment fee which is factored into the overall cost of service. I would recommend Dunn if you're local to their service areas.

Their price was competitive, they arrived on time, replaced the HVAC as per the contract - stayed late to make sure everything was done and cleaned up everything - it's like they were never here. We decided to get a new complete unit installed that night. That team was awesome as they worked through the night to get the install completed so we would not be with our air for too long. For us it was important as we have frenchies, and as everyone knows they do not do well at all in the heat. So now to comment on tonight's service call. We called the office about 4:30pm on a Wednesday afternoon. I explained what the unit was doing as the outside unit would not kick on to save its life. They stated that they had an appointment cancel for tomorrow and could fit us in. Of course being without air for a night was going to be rough. I was not happy but agreed for the next day appointment. About 10-15 minutes later I get a call from them stating that they were going to have a tech swing by in a bit to check it out. We were grateful for the help and the technician was quick to identify the issue. Service like this is why we stay loyal to them. Keep up the great work and thank you again for taking care of us!

Since the recent change in ownership at AireServ Over the Mountain, the quality and integrity of this company have collapsed. During a service call, in November, 2024, I was told every technician except one (Hoyt) has been with AireServ six months or less. In March of 2024 a technician serviced both units at my home but failed to seal the main level air exchanger properly. On November 8th, 2024, this error caused condensation, which led to a premature part failure. The technician admitted the mistake on-site. When the tech communicated this to the new owner, he refused to accept any responsibility whatsoever. The unit was under warranty, but I was charged $426.16 for labor, 20 minutes of work, because of their error. I told them then: they had just lost a customer of ten-plus years. August 28, 2025: Things have only gotten worse. Today, I received a call and text about a "maintenance appointment" that was never scheduled or authorized--followed by a $378 charge to my card. This kind of unauthorized billing never happened under previous ownership. This is fraudulent. I plan to dispute the charge and file a complaint with the Alabama Attorney General. My advice: With the new ownership, do not walk, run away from AireServ Over the Mountain before you regret it.
