The Frog Pond is a nice restaurant on Gulf Blvd. The inside is clean and has nice tables and chairs to sit at. The server was friendly and attentive. We both ordered the special, which included 2 eggs, any style, meat of your choice, home fried potatoes, coffee and juice, and toast with in house made strawberry jam. My wife ordered scrambled eggs with cheese on top, crispy bacon and I ordered over medium with crispy bacon. My breakfast was to my liking, eggs were done right and the bacon was crispy and the house made jam was delicious. My wife was not as happy, she felt there was too much cheese on the eggs and the bacon was too crispy, she also was not crazy about the fries. So a split recommendation here.

The Frog Pond has been a breakfast/brunch staple since 1982 and after nearly a full years setback from the Hurricane Helene disaster has very recently reopened and is back in FULL SWING serving filling & delicious breakfasts & brunch of all types! The renovations put it back about to about exactly as I can remember and the Frog memorabilia that help make a visit memorable is all intact! The staff was very friendly and service quite prompt in accommodating our table even receiving a visit from the owner Luciano. Being perplexed by the extensive menu we took the servers recommendations and ordered "The Frog" Benedict made with house made Hollandaise Sauce with hash browned potatoes. The food was fresh, piping hot and quite delicious and there were so many great things on the menu, I feel we will be making regular visits! The Frog Pond is BACK and certainly hasn't missed a beat!!!

In a touristy town, finding a restaurant that has all the look and feel of local can be challenging-but you'll get that here! Everyone was very friendly and we had very attentive service. The food was amazing, we got the frog & Neptune Benedicts and the Georgia waffle. I'll add my photos but it was all so good. The bacon is top notch!

My family just moved to the area & have been looking for our next fave breakfast spot & Frog Pond NAILED IT Luciano was & is always welcoming & just so freaking kind! Louis was the 1st person I got to know, & he ALWAYS makes us feel like were "home" & knows our coffee necessities before we even have to ask! My daughter fell in love with Jacqueline & Raina.. who are both PHENOMENAL servers! Ok.. let's get to the food lol .. The food is TOP NOTCH . The coffee is strong but not overpowering & we LOVE our coffee. My fave dish so far is the Monte Cristo Eggs Benedict. They had a special (when I visited before we made the permanent move) Tiramisu French Toast stuffed with Nutella (Jacqueline MADE the mascarpone if I remember correctly) & it came with coffee infused syrup!!! My husband loves the western & home fries...my daughter was so thrilled she had options between French Toast, waffles, AND pancakes with a variety of options for toppings!!! We literally CAN NOT rave ENOUGH about Frog Pond .

There's a table set for you! Come on down!

So glad to see the Frog Pond re-emerge following the storms of '24. The restaurant seems better than ever! The extensive breakfast menu, generous portions, and attentive wait staff maintain the quality of hospitality they have shown for years. The New Owner was gracious and working as hard as his staff to make everything flow smoothly on a busy Sunday morning. If you're a Frog Pond repeat, you may recognize him. He's been with the Frog Pond since a teenager, and was the manager prior to the storms. So happy for him, for his next level of success, and for those of us who love the Frog Pond!

The best breakfast I've had. Had the beef skillet and my girlfriend had the fruit crepe. Wish they had one in Orlando.

    Newly remodeled after the storms.

SO good to see them open after the storms with a nice remodel. The Special is my favorite on the menu. Quality food and friendly staff as always. They retain the crown for best breakfast on the beach! Served until 2:00PM.

My wife and her mother have eaten at The Frog Pond in the past, but this was my first time. I was not disappointed. Entering the restaurant we were greeted by Luciano. I made the assumption that Luciano was probably the host or manager; he greeted us and showed us to a table. Following that he stayed very busy, vacuuming, cleaning, and helping serve guests. I would later learn that Luciano is the new owner of The Frog Pond. This truly impressed me. These days most owners feel that they are above everyone else, particularly their staff. They typically like to manage, direct, really they like to do anything but work in the trenches with the troops. As a military veteran, I can say that Luciano exhibited what we call the quality of "lead by example". I hope that he is as good of an employer as he seems to be. Once seated we were served by Lindsey and Luis, two wonderful folks who did an incredible job for us. Truly, if I were a business owner I make every effort to steal them away from The Frog Pond. Lindsey and Luis were both very attentive (as was Luciano), very professional, courteous, and friendly. Lindsey and Luis are both great representatives of The Frog Pond, and Luciano should be proud to have such nice folks on his staff. My wife and I sincerely thank you Lindsey, Luis, and Luciano for your wonderful service! We will be back on our next trip to Redington Beach. Now to the food. Wow. The food was great. My wife had the Apple & Walnut Waffles while I had the Roast Beef Omelette. The food was terrific, the portion size was very generous, and it was all freshly made. The omelette was made with fresh mushrooms and onions instead of the canned type that most restaurants use these days. I usually love ketchup on breakfast potatoes, but truly that would have ruined the potatoes which came with my omelette. The potatoes were perfectly seasoned, tasted fantastic, and I could not bring myself to tainting them with ketchup. This says a lot, because I truly do enjoy breakfast potatoes with ketchup, but in this case that would have been a great injustice. I cannot wait until our next trip. God willing, we will be eating at The Frog Pond again. Attached are a couple of photos of our breakfast. Kinda like the ketchup on potatoes thing, I'm absolutely NOT one to take pictures of my food or post many reviews, but this had to be done. Thank you again Lindsey, Luis, and Luciano!

They had a fresh catch of grouper that day, so we decided to try the grouper nuggets. They're market price, but absolutely worth it. Even our friend preferred them over his fried fish. The batter was light, crispy, and delicious. Our kids ordered the bacon cheese fries and loved them. Just a heads-up: they use a nacho cheese sauce rather than shredded cheese, which some people may prefer to know ahead of time. Our friend from Massachusetts ordered the lobster sub (also market price) and said it was worth every penny. My husband and I split the grouper nuggets and the Philly cheesesteak. The bread is brought in from up north, and our server's recommendation did not disappoint. The sandwich was rich, flavorful, and one of the highlights of the meal. We also tried the onion rings. They use a beer batter, which wasn't our favorite, but that's more of a personal preference than a criticism. Overall, we'd definitely return if we're in the area again. The only downside was parking--$29.99 for two hours is pretty brutal. Thankfully, the food and atmosphere helped make up for it.

The vibe was very cozy, clean, and hip, mixing modern design with rattan accents and a dash of greenery. It felt clean, cute, and really thoughtfully put together! Service was great. The staff was friendly, patient, and actually took time to explain popular items without rushing me at all. Loved that!! Parking is a bit limited. It is a small lot with a simple pull-in and back-out setup right onto the road, so it can feel tight. That said, I went around 11am and it worked out just fine with no hassle. I ordered the breakfast sandwich with bacon (plus $2 extra) and homemade lemon aioli on a toasted brioche bun and wow... the presentation was next level. I definitely took way too many photos before even touching it, no regrets! It tasted as good as it looks. Taste-wise, it was sweet, fresh, and super creamy with really nice texture. I also ordered the matcha latte, which was a bit disappointing. The ratio leaned heavily toward milk, making it very milky and lighter in matcha flavor than I expected. Wait time was quick, and pricing felt fair for the quality and experience. Overall, this is such a fun spot for brunch lovers, cute café dates, or anyone just wanting a sweet treat moment. We sat at the "bar" for breakfast and shared the country fried steak and gravy with home fries (and scrambled eggs). It's difficult to mess up a scrambled egg, and they didn't. The home fries were very yummy and crispy (which made the boyfriend super happy). The star of the show was the country fried steak and gravy .... Omg .... So tasty!!! So tasty, in fact, that in spite of many other breakfast options in the area, we chose to go there again the next day. This time we ordered the biscuits and gravy (w scrambled eggs and home fries again) and shared that, as well. That gravy is SO GOOD. We were a little surprised that this entree was only one biscuit (instead of 2, like we're used to), and it didn't have as much gravy as the breakfast from the day before. But it was still super delicious. We could've asked for more gravy, but we didn't, and that's on us. Hopefully we go to the beach again next year.
