I started with Andy a couple months ago after a referral from a mutual friend. I have suffered from lower back pain due to two herniated discs (L4/L5 & L5/S1) for almost 5 years. I had lower right back pain which was keeping me from playing golf. A friend, who is a scratch long time golfer, highly recommended that I see Andy Clary. I saw Andy 8 times over 4 weeks. He told me that I needed to stregthen my core muscles. He helped me in three ways. The first was to work on my core muscles using equipment at his office. Over the four weeks I could feel that my core muscles were gradually getting stronger. Toward the end of the four weeks, Andy instructed me in 6 exercises for my core muscles I should do at home, emphasizing the importance of using correct form as I did the exercises (he told me how many reps, how often, and how many sets). Finally, he analyzed my golf swing, and suggested changes so that I would put less stress on my lower back. I am still not the golfer I would like to be, but I am not feeling the lower back pain which had brought me to Andy. Went to this facility for physical therapy and they want to charge an addition fee that they want the customer to pay up front and the will bill your insurance company. They say when the insurance company pays they will reimburse the customer. They want you to pay more than your co-pay and keep track of how much your owed. Very poor system. Two years ago, I started having hip pain on one side. I saw an orthopedic surgeon, who said I would soon need a hip replacement. I instead decided to first try a cortisone shot, which helped a bit, but didn't last. The doctor also sent me to physical therapy which didn't do much, and the therapist said I would need a hip replacement when I had trouble sleeping from the pain which was a problem for me. I decided to get a second opinion, and the new doctor said I did not need a hip replacement, but diagnosed hip bursitis, and said to take ibuprofen, which does help but doesn't last and is not good to take long term regularly. I then discussed my problem with Andy Clary at FROGSPT, who said hip bursitis is very easily and effectively treated by stretching and certain physical therapy exercises and manipulations. I really did not believe that, but decided to try it anyway, since nothing else had worked. The astonishing thing is that after just one session, I am pain free! Andy diagnosed that I was out of alignment and did some exercises and manipulations on me. I don't at all understand the mechanics of what Andy did and said, but he gave me some exercises and stretches to do at home and I am doing them religiously. I will continue to see Andy to ensure that the pain does not return and am sold on physical therapy. I used to wake up several times a night from the pain, but am now sleeping though the night. I am grateful to FROGSPT for finally figuring out my very frustrating and painful situation. I cannot more highly recommend Andy Clary and FROGSPT! My husband saw Andy after I did, for knee pain and felt the same relief and improvement! We are doing the prescribed exercises together now and are amazed how effective they are! read more

i went in to FROGS thinking it was a temporary measure until i got a cortisone shot in my back (sciatic issue). two visits later, i cancelled my appointment for the cortisone shot -- i felt that much better -- and kept at it for 10 more visits. not only did i get relief from the sciatic pain, i also learned to sit & stand straighter! i now have a routine to follow to keep that back issue at bay. i would highly recommend Andy (and Martha in reception) for their professionalism and courtesies! read more

I have been to more than a dozen PT offices before, and it is very very hard to find someone who is very experienced, knowledgeable and talented as Andy. The problem with PT is that a lot of times you are treating one problem and as you improve other problems show up - Andy has been a wizard to navigate and address the issues as they arise. He helped me preparing for hip surgery and during the long and arduous recovery process. I have been driving 30 min to FROGS 3x a week for 6 months and I am a very busy person so be assured I REALLY like this place! I read the bad review below and I have to say I love everyone in this office but it is indeed a busy place - hey, if it was not busy, it was most likely not good. If you are willing to put the work into a recovery, do yourself a huge favor and go to see Andy. Additional Review FROGS has now a massage therapist, Tom, who is absolutely phenomenal. I went to Andy for a period of over 3 months after he promised to fix my hand pain within 1 month. During that time, I found the treatment and level of care to be inadequate, as well as the office at whole to be unprofessional. I have been a competitive runner, swimmer, cyclist, triathlete, high-school and college tennis player for more than thirty-five years. Since visiting Frog's PT and working with Andy and his team, I have made a tremendous improvement in the mobility of my right leg when running. After winning the master's division of the Phoenix 10K, in which I competed in over two months ago, I sustained a strain to my right hamstring. I was very disappointed in this office. The front desk woman is not friendly and at my first visit, made me feel as if I were bothering her. Only one physical therapist who did not measure my range of motion and turned me over to staff that have not even been to PT or PTA school. I was in so much pain, I spent two days in bed. The PT also took a pair of scissors to my arm without relaxing the muscle first. Too many patients for only one PT and bad practice to be having kids work on patients with no education or degree. read more

I recently completed a series of PT sessions with Andy Clary at FROGS physical therapy. Andy was recommended to me by my personal physician as I was suffering significant lower back pain that radiated down the back of both legs. My lifestyle was being compromised as well as enduring the pain. An MRI revealed that I was suffering from 3 bulging discs, a small spinal cyst as well as stenosis up and down my spine. Today, after several sessions with Andy and his assistant Kyle I am back to playing golf and Pickleball regularly without any pain issues whatsoever.
