I have a pool that was installed by Fronheiser 13 years ago. I love my pool. I have had them close it every year. I have purchased all of my pool supplies from them over those 13 years. No more. My pump died. Ok I'll check Fronheiser for a replacement. Out of stock. Damn I'll check Amazon, reluctantly. Bingo, a Pentair Superflo VS. Email Fronheiser, text them exactly what I need. Pump wired and new PVC. The old one were different sizes and did not line up. Tech comes out and is gone in 30 minutes. No knock or doorbell, just gone. I come home from work, plumbing looks great, but why is my pump not hooked up? Text them. Oh we don't connect pumps that are not purchased from us. That was not disclosed to me and it is not on their web site. You did not finish the contracted job. I have a text that says no problem. If you tell me that a text is not an agreement then I can say I never agreed to the work being done. Good luck getting paid. read more

Fronheiser Pools - Pool Cleaners Near Me - Bally, Pennsylvania

Service and parts department is awful. Our pool is 12 years old and we have been Customers since the pool was installed by them. This summer we have had problems with opening. They did not close it right last year and had to fix the frozen pipes. Then our shut off valve pipe by the pump broke. Pump wouldnt start. My husband finally got it to start and had to leave the pump running 24/7. Called and asked them to come out to take a look and fix. Waited 5 days and called back. They sent someone to look and that technician never talked to us. Just took a look and left. Did not fix the problem. Called again and Bonnie said that she would get the technician to call us back. He never did. We waited several days and called numerous times to get an update. My husband went up there on a Saturday to get the part to fix it himself, but of course the service and parts department was closed and the sales told him that they would have someone call. He ended up fixing it himself that weekend. We couldn't wait anymore since the pump was running 24 hours a day for over a week! Now, we are looking to refinish since it is recommended at the 10 to 15 year mark. Looking to get a quote to refinish and to have new piping, filter, and pump done next spring. Again, let emails and messages for several weeks. Finally, Bonnie called back and again said that they are busy and will get back to us. Will not hold my breath. I have no faith that they will call us back or follow through. Already called another company and guess what! They answered and are coming out tomorrow! Fronheiser used to be really good. Don't know what happened this year, but I'm very disappointed. We have been loyal customers. We have the pool closed by them yearly and even buy hundreds of dollars of chemicals, and this is how we are being treated?! My question is this... how can Fronheiser treat their longtime customers like this? We can't wait for when it is convenient. Our pool is a large expense, and the issue we had earlier this summer couldn't wait. I hope the owner reads this and resolves their department service. I hate that we may have to look elsewhere, but customers' service, communication, and timely responses are important to me in any business that serves customers. read more

FRONHEISER'S - BUYER BEWARE - FRIENDS, PLEASE SHARE We've needed 9 repairs on our 4 yr old hot tub. The problems began less than 1 month after installation and the last one was completed less than a week ago. After two employees failed to contact Jacuzzi on our behalf as promised and knowing there's not a lot of time left on our warranty I escalated our concerns to the VP and this was his reply: It is my understanding that we have been out on a few occasions to service your hot tub, and we have done so every time under Warranty and at no charge to you. If you feel this spa is a "lemon", this is something that needs to be dealt with directly by you with Jacuzzi themselves. If we go to them and tell them a client wants a new hot tub, even though there have been a few warranty issues on a 4-year old tub, but there is currently nothing wrong with the hot tub, we will get no response. I am unsure why you have felt it best to threaten us with lawyers even though we have performed warranty service and there is no current problem with your hot tub. Nonetheless, we have done everything we can to make you happy, but this appears to have been unsuccessful. Due to the fact that we have been threatened with lawyers even though we have done nothing wrong, I feel it is best to sever ties, and we subsequently will no longer service your hot tub. If you have future warranty and/or service related issues, I would recommend contacting Jacuzzi to get a name of a local authorized service company. If we do in fact get a letter from your lawyer, I will forward this to our lawyer to have it taken care of. I am confident that we will prevail because I fail to see why such drastic measures could even be warranted or on what basis we would even be sued for. Please know that this will be my last correspondence, so any future emails and/or contact from you will go unanswered. Just purchased a home that had a Fronheiser pool. We were hoping to have an early opening not knowing what to expect under the cover. We scheduled an early opening with our previous pool company only to have them push the date out till after Memorial Day. We were able to reschedule with Fronheiser and were truly impressed with the level of service. The pool was green as I don't think the previous owner had used it in a long time. Fronheiser pools is a great company. I had my first n ground pool built by them, and for 8 years now, it's been a great experience. I use Fronheiser for pool openings, closings and all of my maintenance and pool supply needs. I'm not sure why people are unhappy but I've never been disappointed. I visit the Sinking Spring store and they are always attentive when I walk in. Their young people have been great . I'm always impressed how knowledgeable they are with pool water analysis, product recommendations and no matter how small the order, they always offer to help load the chemicals into my car. As far as pool openings and closings, they are A#1! They do exactly what you contract them to do on the day you ask them to do it. 2-3 days after opening, my pool is Chrystal clear and I'm a happy camper. If I have any issue, like a bad pump recently, they sent a crew out promptly and I was up and going quickly. My pool is in great condition, still looks like new, and the Fronheiser team is really the best around. I have many friends and family who use them and everyone has similar good experiences. Our family has been a Fronheiser Pools customer for over 25 years. They put our pool in and we purchased a high end spa from them. Always had them service our pool and purchased all of our chemicals from them. This year (2019) we discovered a tear in our pool liner. Multiple calls to service to come and look at it and I even agreed before anyone came that it probably needs a new liner. I asked for a quote and was told it would come shortly. Two weeks later and nothing. No one returns calls or responds. I am sad to say that we will no longer do business with them. I called another local business and they responded within an hour with a quote that was very reasonable and they worked with me on replacing the filter, chlorination system and adding an automatic vacuum system. Question to Fronheiser; is this how you plan to treat all of your long time customers? read more

I was very disappointed in this company. We were looking for someone to open our pool up and I figured we would try them. When they finally called me back I was told they would be out in the next week to look at the pool and see what could be done (we have a basic above ground pool with a half deck around it). I received a phone call two weeks later and was told "they came out to look at the pool and they are over booked and not able to open our pool". When asked if they actual walked up to the pool he said yes. Now this I know is a lie, we have a lock on our gate and no one could have been in the yard to look at it. I don't know how good the service is when you get it as we will not be using them. I do not believe in giving my hard earned money to someone who is going to call me up and lie to me. read more
