We came here after watching a movie at Wonderland. I've been to Front Street Pizza many times and usually have a great experience, so I wanted to bring my husband (who's from Chicago) to try their deep dish. Service was great--our waitress was very attentive, and we knew to expect about an hour wait for the pizza. Unfortunately, when it came out, it was really burnt. My husband didn't mind since he likes his pizza well done, but for me it was too overdone and I was honestly surprised it was served that way. Ambiance was a fun modern bar scene I've always enjoyed this place in the past, so I'll definitely give it another shot, but this visit was a bit of a disappointment. read more

We made an impromptu road trip to Michigan from Indiana yesterday and found this place. It was a super fun family atmosphere and our waitress Kaylee was awesome. I got the deep dish pizza. It was ok, but definitely not as good as a Detroit or Chicago deep dish. Not a lot of toppings and the crust was thin and not bread-like and hard to cut or bite. I would go for a regular pizza the next time. The beer was good and the waitress was friendly. It is quite loud inside. read more

Subpar unfortunately. We got a 20" 3 topping thin crust pizza, it was mostly cheese and the crust tasted like it was from GFS. For a "pizza pub" we were expecting something a bit more tasty, as this had very little taste. The service was very mediocre and could have been a lot better. Looks like a fun place for drinks though. Seriously though, a "pizza pub" should have a lot better pizza. I would have rather had little Cesar's. Which is saying a lot. read more

Pros are that is a big beautiful place. Inside and out. Dartboards and a place for a band. Menu has many choices. Sports on tvs. Wings were great and they mixed the Parmesan and hot sauce at our request. Staff is friendly! Cons to me are no pool table. The calzone was burnt on top, veggie sandwich had minimal ingredients so bread overtook them and they we not mixed together in sandwich. Some on one half and spinach on other. The potato chips weren't fresh ... at the prices paid I'd be happier if these were addressed. No refills and I had to ask bartender for to go box (he readily did this without complaint!) and then I had to chase down waitress for check. At one point I thought we'd be there until closing (got there at 630-7) trying to get a box and a paid check. This is NOT our waitresses fault. She was constantly busy. The customer to waitress ratio was the issue. The trivia started with a Hannah Montana question so we were over it as soon as it began. (That might be great for families... were not just adults looking for Yankees game, a drink and cool trivia). We recently moved here and will try again at some point. Thoroughly pleased that I chose to try them out. After looking at the different pizza shops around the area, I decided to place a pick up order here. The over the phone order had a pick up time of an hour. I ordered their version of a Chicago deep dish pizza with a request of four toppings with one only being placed on half of the pie. I also placed an order for a plain cheese pizza, house salad, and the fried ravioli bites. I always heard I needed to tru Chicago style deep dish pizza and Front Street made me a believer in the rumor/suggestions I kept hearing. It was perfectly crafted with a bottom pizza crust topped with sause, cheese, an additional layer of pizza crust, their house sausage, green peppers, onions, pepperoni, and then finally topped with more red sauce. I'll just say, you need both hands to carry this pie. Especially since I didn't realize how big the 14" pie truly was. Let's say, one slice will fill you up and over all the pie may last you a few days. Onto how it tasted. With each bite I was amazed at how this layered pizza was cook. The bottom crust had that perfect pizza crunch, the ingredients in the middle were hot, the top layer of red sauce was flavorful. Before diving into this beast of a pie, I sized it up trying to decide if I needed a fork and knife or if I could man handle it. With it being so thick, almost lasagna like, I decided a fork and knife would be appropriate. And it was. The cheese pizza was also good, well the couple bites that I had. After eating a slice of that deep dish, there wasn't much room left. The fried ravioli bites were perfectly breaded with a creamy ricotta inside. It paired with the provided red sauce is a nice combination. With all that said, I think Front street is worth a shot if in the mood for pizza, especially Chicago style deep dish. The cost was around $50 with the deep dish being the bulk of that cost. The wait time was about an hour. All the making of a legit pizza establishment. read more

Second stop in 2 days due to how amazing this place is. The bartender Brittany was phenomenal, fun and professional. The food is amazing. Hands down best Calzone in Michigan and the Deep Dish pizza gave us the memories of what we love in Chicago. What a surprise this place was definitely not your regular pizza stop. In the back room there is a band stage setup and a DJ booth. Outside in the backyard area there is a outdoor seating area, which we can't wait to come back when it gets warmer and enjoy the food outside! Last minute decision to stop here for dinner after a long hot day of outdoor sporting events. The service was good. I got a shaker cup margarita, that was not good, but the Moscow mule I got was excellent. We ordered 3 different pizzas. My husband got a cauliflower pizza that only comes in 10 inch and he ate the whole thing. My daughter got a traditional crust chicken bacon ranch and she liked that. I got a thin crust pizza with pepperoni and mushroom and it was absolutely perfect (see picture). The waitress initially apologized when she set it down, she said "it's not burned", and she was right because it was cooked just how I like it. Heavy portion of tender grilled chicken, and I was scooping blue cheese and walnuts into my last bite of greens tossed in balsamic ($9 V good value). Above average bone in bbq wings (10 for $9). Order the pizza! Quite nearly perfect traditional crust. The home made meatball topping was not as meaty as I was hoping, but I would order the pizza based off crust and sauce alone.. put whatever toppings on it you want. I would have loved to give this a zero or -100. They have the worst I would like to say one more time they have the worst pizza in the country and I have been all over the country. The waitress that we had was completely terrible. also had cheese curds, they came out all squished and sitting in a puddle of grease in the tray that they serve them in. I've had several people tell me they've actually walked out because they sat down at a table and never had anyone even take their drink order. Needs better management.
