The owners were very kind and instructed me on technique and proper form when rowing a kayak. My partner and I came on a calm morning with perfect weather conditions to kayak (no wind, flat water.) We got the faster kayaks and were able to kayak 2 miles going to see Hector Falls and 2 miles coming back. I truly cannot feel like I understand and know a body of water now without kayaking it first. The price for 2 hours was $52, but given it is the famous, Seneca Lake in the Finger Lakes region, I feel it's warranted and definitely worth it. During our stay in the Finger Lakes, for both of us, this was one of our absolute favorite things to do on the trip. When we come back, we will definitely visit this business again. Bent the propellor shaft and thought the entire outdrive was spent (that was the info I gathered after speaking to another marina). After hearing good things about Riegel Marine, I decided to bring it to Eric. Instead of trying to take my money, he informed me that the outdrive is fine, just needed a new shaft which saved me thousands. His crew got it done way faster than I expected and even fixed a gouge in my hull. Boat looks brand new, I can't even tell where the gouge in the fiberglass was. Excellent work. Wouldn't go anywhere else!

My son and I came up from Central Texas to try catching some NY Smallmouth. My wife (who is from the region) came across Captain Jay. His smallmouth trip was just what we were looking for! His boat sets up perfectly for people used to casting to cover / fishing ledges. His rods and reels were just right for fighting smallmouth and were all in excellent working order (not always the case with some guides). He put us on the fish and we had an excellent morning/afternoon. When one spot cooled down, he wasn't afraid of burning some gas and try somewhere else. On top of all that - Jay is a HOOT!! Even if we weren't catching fish, I imagine time on the water of the beautiful Finger Lakes with Cap'n Jay would time well spent.

I've been very happy since moving to them. When one gets older, one tends to take the Longview of things or put them in the big picture. I hear good and bad about everybody. I no longer allow one employee, or single action affect my opinion of a business at all. That said Marine Blue has always been there for us. They can be there for you too! These days I usually get a hold of Crystal or Stephanie on the phone almost immediately. They too, are extremely helpful!
