I will never fly this airline ever again. The customer service is an absolute joke. I booked a flight with them 3 months in advance, the next day after booking I tried to change times on my connecting flight. They refused to budge on their $75 change fee because it had been over 24 hours. It had been literally 27 hours. Lady on the phone was also very rude. No frills, higher than average prices, and a rude/ unreasonable staff give me very little reason to choose this airline over any other. Even if they were $50 cheaper than another airline (which is not the case in most situations), I would avoid this airline. Long gone are the days of friendly service and plentiful amenities in Milwaukee area airlines (ie Midwest Express). read more

If I could rate a negative I would! Where do I start... I had nothing but a good experience with them multiple times shortly after the buy out of Midwest Express prior so why should I doubt that this would be any different? I flew from Orlando to Milwaukee last month and the adventure started when the check in line was long so like any veteran flyer I went to the keosk to check in. When I went to select a seat they wanted to charge an additional $16 no matter what seat I selected. When they asked what bags I had I selected a carry on and they wanted to charge $45 per bag! Really?!? After this I stood in line as this couldn't be! Well the seat fare was not charged but YES they charged me that rate for one simple carry on. Upon boarding I found that they realigned the seats that a small child has a hard time fitting in. Thin, narrow seats that didn't recline and a tray table that barely would hold a soda can. Not like this mattered as they charge for any beverage on the flight including WATER! I WILL NEVER FLY THEM AGAIN! read more

Frontier airlines charges you for a carry on, if you can get the app to work (which I couldn't) it's $20... Since the app wouldn't work i had to pay $60 for a carry on that every other airline let's you bring on for free. This airline is a rip off and i will never fly with them again read more

Frontier has the worst customer service of all time! I bought a one way ticket last night at 5:30pm and then had a work conflict come up so I couldn't book a return flight and had to cancel my original flight, which I did a few hours later at 10-11pm and I didn't get a refund for thr $75.80 and was told it cost $112 to cancel even though I booked it and cancelled it within 24 hours! I just flew through them earlier this month so I thought it'd be fine but the customer service woman was rude and not helpful so I will never fly Frontier again! I'm a marketing and events coordinator in Door County and everything is about customer service and trying to be accommodating but Frontier's customer service has no such thing! I will tell everyone I know not to fly Frontier and through my job I'm asked quite often what I recommend so now they will be losing a lot of future clientele since they have terrible customer service and have no idea how to be helpful, understanding or accommodating! I bought a direct flight for May. They canceled my flight then told me I either had to travel 72 hours before or after my original flight or 24 hours but the 24 hour options had 5 hour layovers not getting back until almost midnight. To keep my same date, I had to fly to an airport 2 hours from home and they wouldn't do anything to get me from that airport to home. Completely terrible customer service. read more

Their fares look cheap but wait until you check in and they charge for EVERY bag, including your backpack. Soda onboard is $3.00. I guess this is why the fares are less as they make up for it with all the other fees. Will not be flying the friendly skies with them again. read more

I'm mad I have to give them one star: WORST AIRLINE EVER. We showed up 2 hours early - the recommended time, and the one person issuing tickets had no idea what she was doing, to the point where we missed our flight. She couldn't find our tickets, and about 12 other peoples tickets as well - who also missed their flight. We now have to wait until tomorrow to fly which almost makes our trip pointless. We called customer service and WERE HUNG UP ON TWICE after waiting 30 minutes on hold. We were trying to take a train to Chicago to try to fly out from there. We found those flights were all full after over 1.5 hours on hold. Seriously under staffed, seriously under trained, seriously under caring. I am amazed they are in business at all. read more

I would rate negative if possible. DO NOT FLY FRONTIER!! if you do.. you only have yourself to kick in the ass. I got to my flight at 3:35pm. (Which was departure time.) I was told that i no longer had a seat when i paid about a month in advance. After they said that they loaded about 10 more people on board. Then they gave me wrong directions to board another closer flight. So i missed that one and had to pay $400 to get another flight. Will never choose frontier again. I would love to have flown Frontier the 2 times in my life I've tried, BUT I CANT BECAUSE THEY KEEP CANCELLING MY FLIGHTS. Leave me high and dry and no back up plan unless you can front a whole other plane ticket right away. Customer service is terrible, especially on the phone, if you can even get ahold of anyone. This airline is terrible. We has to pay 35 dollars to carry on a piece of luggage. The airline staff was incredibly rude. They changed our seat assignments so my husband and I could not sit together. This airline claims to save you money but their tickets are just as expensive as other airlines and there are hidden fees. The staff must not like this company either because they are very crabby. read more

Unfortunately today if you want to get the best airfare nonstop and within your traveling time frame you have to accept whatever airline can get you where you going when you want to be there at the cheapest cost. That being said we have had to fly Frontier Airlines several times in the last couple years. We always run into delayed flights, Canceled flights or rescheduled flights. Even the check-in counter doesn't open up on time on the weekends. Just thought I'd let you know our experience over for flights with them. To check a bag is $35 which is more than other airlines and when we actually check in at the kiosk the pre-purchased checked bag did not even show up on the kiosk. read more

ZERO stars!!!!!! Don't fly Frontier! Pay the extra money for another airline! While booking, we got over the fact that you had to pay for a carry on and checked bag and knowing that nothing was included on our flight (water or small snacks). But then it got awful. We arrived in Vegas and the flight attendants announced which baggage claim we needed to go to, but didn't explain we had to go OUTSIDE the airport to hop on a shuttle to get to another building. It took us hours to even get to our hotel because of the inconvenience. Then our flight home was THE WORST. We got to the airport 2 hours early like they recommend and got a text ONE hour before the flight saying the flight was delayed 2 hours (1230am). Then an hour later, it was delayed yet another hour. They announced it was due to there not being a pilot, but that the plane had been ready since 6pm. Their next excuse was that the pilot had LEFT Denver already and should be in Vegas shortly. Then it turns out the pilot had not left Denver yet due to weather. Another pilot from frontier had offered to fly our plane but they said no because they would have to pay him more. We finally boarded the plane at 1am... Then WAITED ANOTHER HOUR to finally take off. Just sitting on the plane. We did not get into the air until 2 am. There were no apologies and no reimbursements for all of the inconvenience. We will never fly this airline again!!!!!! read more

Dropped off my mom at the airport 1.5hrs before her flight was to take off. Found out the flight was cancelled. Frontier airlines almost ruined my weekend I spent my first paycheck on. The thing is they said the plane had maintence issue. But like they couldn't find a maintence man to fix it for 2 hours! I sat in the airport. They didn't tell us any updates throughout this wait of mine. I almost nearly passed out from hunger and missed this important dinner I was flying out for. Luckily. I made it by a minute. However I will never fly frontier airlines again. I am so disappointed with their customer service, their etiquette, their performance. I also suffer from crippling flight anxiety, which me hesitant to fly and therefore enjoy my life. Frontier definitely hindered my experience overall. I am near to traumatized and very disappointed. I would've rather spent more money on a better airline that performs better and treats customers in a respectful way. After being upset about my flight delay. The flight attendant couldn't have been more rude and dismissive towards my needs. She looked at like I was crazy for asking if I had pretzels. I'm done. We will never fly this airline again. We flew Frontier round trip O'Hare -Orlando July - August, 2015. The initial low fare caught our eye. Shame on us. Everything else is extra. You pay for your seat position, baggage INCLUDING CARRYONS! Since most people didn't pay for their carryons, the compartment above the seat was mostly empty. When we landed it was difficult to find our carryons since everything had shifted. The airline does not provide any complimentary beverages or snacks except good old H20. The seats leave a lot to be desired. Plastic frames with no cushion and a faux leather cover. Very uncomfortable. I thought it was odd that there wasn't any reading or shopping material in the seat back. I asked the flight attendant about it and she seemed rather put out that I would ask telling me that I should have brought my own. She did however bring a copy of the New Yorker about 3/4ths of the way through the flight. read more

Tried to make changes to a flight and they wanted to charge me more than the flight is even worth. Customer service was horrible, even the manager. They do not care even 1% about the it'll customers. For your sake -- avoid this airline if at all possible. Bad attitude is pervasive from the from the telephone customer service agents to the flight attendants to the ticket agents. Frontier is the dying remains of two great airlines and everyone I encountered is just biding their time until an acquisition or an unemployment check. Worst airline ever. They lost our luggage on a direct flight back from Fort Myers. Then promised to get us our bags by 6:00 and still don't have them. It's after 7:00. Horrible experience. Had to pay for everything carry on bag, food, etc. The staff on the flight out was short and not nice. The return flight the woman put someone else's tags on our bags only for them to go to Cleveland. Bottom line this was the absolute worst. BUYER BEWARE -----STAY AWAY----- We have been trying since after six to reach anyone and we have gotten no one. So we have no idea where our bags are. read more

Health Risk!!! Horrible!!!! Delay booking with Frontier Airlines. Then after pondering...Refuse to fly Frontier. Can't give it even a one! Pilot was a one man kinda comedy show. Attendants were noisy. I am forced to rate it a one. Costly airline. Absolutely no bargain. $50.00 extra for a black hard, no recline plastic seat with a bit more leg room. P.S. Don't attempt sitting on a vacant seat to save your life. $50.00 Please! Not last class not first class. The new and "better" seats cannot be reclined even slightly. They have a very slight curvature supposedly to add comfort. Hard plastic seats. Arm rests are skinny and too short to rest your arms on! Seating is so close...I mean so close it's as if we were placed in mummy like seating. Barf bag and emergency escape placard came free. All else, as an attendant explained is Ala Carte! Just what passengers ask for..choices. REALLY?!?!?! I would have been more comfortable shoved in to a body bag and stored with luggage! My legs, ankles and feet became frightfully swollen and bruised. My muscles have spasmed for the past two days. Don't fly if you have any health issue!! read more
