What a a great deal, great flight, and great staff. This flight was from LMM to EWR and it was 4 hours of smooth sailing. We purchased the seats three rows back from the entrance door where the middle seat can't be purchased so we could have all three seats to ourselves months in advance and got a great deal. The seats were pretty comfy and there was a lot of legroom compared to economy. The service was great and the pilots did a great job too. I've flown Frontier a couple times over the years but this was the best flight I've ever had with them, other than the flight from EWR to LMM. Thanks again for everything. Safe travels :) read more

Warning: Avoid Frontier Airlines - A Nightmare Experience If you're considering flying with Frontier Airlines, do yourself a favor and don't. My recent experience was an absolute nightmare, and I want to warn others before they make the same mistake. I booked a flight through FlightHub for Frontier Airlines Flight 4092 from Tampa to Baltimore, scheduled for January 31, 2025, at 5:01 a.m. My wife and I were traveling to Quantico, VA, for my son's graduation as a U.S. Marine Corps Warrant Officer, a once-in-a-lifetime event. Unfortunately, Frontier's horrible policies, lack of communication, and terrible customer service turned our trip into an expensive disaster. No Customer Service, No Help, No Accountability Before the trip, I tried multiple times to contact FlightHub and Frontier Airlines to clarify baggage policies. FlightHub had no working customer support--just a useless chat line that wasn't even operational. Frontier Airlines was just as bad--I couldn't reach a single person to ask simple questions about baggage check-in policies. If I had been able to speak to someone, I might have avoided this entire ordeal. Hidden Baggage Check-in Rule = Missed Flight When we arrived at Tampa International Airport at 3:50 a.m., we were shocked to be told we could not check in our luggage because of a hidden three-hour check-in rule that was never made clear in any of the emails I received from Frontier. Yes, I had my boarding passes, but I was told my luggage wouldn't be allowed on the plane. I asked if the bags could be sent on a later flight, but the answer was a flat-out no. I was literally told my luggage would just "stay right here" and not go anywhere. What kind of airline refuses to help customers with their luggage--especially when they've done everything right by arriving early? Forced to Buy New Tickets for the Same Airline I then asked if we could rebook onto the next available flight using the tickets we had already paid for. The answer? No. Instead, we were forced to pay for two brand-new tickets just to get to our destination. We had to book: Flight F9-2911 (Tampa Atlanta) Flight F9-2634 (Atlanta Baltimore) Same airline, same day--but Frontier still made us pay all over again. More Money Grab: Double-Charging for Luggage As if that wasn't bad enough, I was initially told I'd have to pay an additional $69 per bag for luggage I had already paid for. Luckily, one staff member was at least reasonable enough to waive that fee. But why was I being charged again in the first place? Final Thoughts: Never Again This whole experience was a complete rip-off. Frontier Airlines showed zero flexibility, zero understanding, and zero customer service. Their baggage check-in rule is intentionally hidden, their support is nonexistent, and their policies are designed to scam passengers into paying more. Took a direct flight on frontier from Hartford to Orlando and don't think that I'd book this airline again. It's a discount airline but for the consumer my personal feeling is that the lack of amenities is not worth the discounted price. Payment is necessary for either a carry on or checked bag in either direction so add $100 to the cost of your flight and you're not even served a cup of water during the flight (Yea I know you can buy your own at the airport or refill a bottle). Seat selection costs money too. It seemed like the boarding process was pretty chaotic, the seats are extremely uncomfortable (for a 2.5 hour flight), 20 minutes for a gate agent to arrive and drive the jet bridge, 30 min to get off the plane, 45 minutes for the bags to make it to the carousel (not sure if this is the airline or the airport). One of the poorest/low grade airlines to fly that charges regular price. Did not know this as this was my first experience flying with them!!! Flight was supposed to depart at 7:08pm so I arrived at 4:30pm. So happens a thunder storm appears and the flight departure was rescheduled several times until the storm passed. The plane landed in Philly as the storm passed and headed up to NJ. Once the plane arrived, the passengers un-boarded , the crew got on and everyone lined up to get on. A crew member came on the intercom and said we are being delayed until further notice due to one of the crew member running late and hasn't showed up yet...it's now 1am (the next day)...Never again. This is the same airlines that just duck taped a passenger to his seat for being unruly. Several complaints on the net about this airlines about lateness and cancellations...wish I knew beforehand!!! I had the worst flight in my 56 year old life of flying on Frontier. Last night I slept in the airport--with my 6 year old son. It was a new low in air transportation. A 2:41 pm flight was delayed, then delayed then delayed again--and again... and then at 1:15 am we were told that the flight would take off at 6 am. There were no options, no assistance, no customer service, no kindness. And then, at 6 am, the flight was delayed again! Finally at 7 am it took off... wow. Really pitiful. Some of it was mechanical troubles, some weather, and some related to workers and their schedules. But underneath it all, Frontier has no heart. No customer service. I will never book a flight with this company ever again. You first will notice their website is very hard to deal with. Then if you cancel a flight you will never be able to use the refund for the next flight as they give you 3 months to book the next flight- if you go past that date you will lose the refund . I tried to get the booking date extended and they refused to give me an extra month to book a trip. Horrible! I got suckered into booking on this airline because of an incredibly cheap flight. But I then found out I had to pat more than the flight cost to book my seat. I guess my reservation didn't cover the cost of a seat. Oh then I learned that there was another charge for any bag beyond a tiny purse that I wanted to bring with me, even a carry on backpack! so after these charges the cost was more than 100%more! Apparently, they want folks to fly while infected with covid. My wife and I came down with covid. CDC guidelines instruct the infected to not travel within 10 days. Because our tests were more than 4 days (5 and 7) prior to the flight, they gave us no option to reschedule or refund. However, they gave us a credit for fees and taxes which was about 1/4 the price. This is the worst airline I have ever used! it is the second time I have flown on Frontier. in both cases it was a terrible experienc. First I got what I thought was a relatively inexpensive flight. Then to be able to get a seat, and check a bag, I had to pay much extra each way. There are charges for everything, even for help by an agent! Now the flight is expensive. Both times there have been maintenance problems, found AFTER we boarded. In this flight we deplaned and are now waiting in crowded airport conditions, people sitting on the floor, and all wondering when we will depart. Not only did they cancel six airline tickets on the return leg of a round trip flight ... with absolutely zero notification ... they had the audacity to charge us an additional $318 to rebook the flight when we noticed the error, frantically tried to call and correct the airline's mistake and found ourselves trapped with absolutely no alternative to get home to NJ from Florida. Then, on top of all of that unnecessary stress and additional fraudulent cost the return flight was delayed (btw....our flight going to Orlando was delayed too...by 6 hours). So anyway, by the time we arrived in Newark there was no crew on site to unload our bags. Not only will I never again fly with this fraudulent airline just to save a couple of bucks...but rest assured that I will do my very best to make sure that no one I know is ever tempted to book a flight with this substandard airline either. Flight 2555 Newark to Tampa on 11/19 ... they changed our flight gate 3 times after we were cleared by TSA. Because of the change we needed to dispose of all fluids purchased and needed to go through TSA again to the new gate. Frontier is disorganized and doesn't care for disruptions, when I requested reimbursement or charges for seat selections to be credited they simply said NO. I am vacationing for the first time in 2 years with my daughter and my mom, and the plan is to celebrate my daughter's birthday in Disney as we had to forgo her sweet sixteen celebration due to COVID pandemic. We had air booked on Frontier, leaving out of Islip on 12/26 and returning on 1/1.  I saw prices had dropped, had called inquiring about rebooking the flight for a discount.  I was told I was unable to do this.  I asked to speak to a manager.  At that time I was told it cannot be done as I was out of the 24 hour booking window.  I asked to speak to their supervisor, was told I would get a call back in 24-48 hours.  At that time I explicitly stated no changes were to be made until I spoke to someone and I was assured my current tickets would remain intact.   On Thanksgivings evening, I received a voicemail, stating she was aware I wanted to cancel and it has been her pleasure helping me. I checked my flight on Saturday morning, and I am no longer booked.  I called customer service and they state this is what I asked for.  Ive asked them to please review the recording which they refuse to do. When I ask the question if it is their policy to cancel a flight on a customer when it includes the customer being charged $394 in cancellation fees without the expressed authorization of said customer, I have been hung up on by three separate managers.   At this point l, even though I have 1700 in air credit, it is not enough to rebook my original ticket.  I am confused as why 6 separate customer relation representatives would not assist in correcting this wrong. read more

They often change their flight time. Not small change, but a few hours change which significantly impact someone's day/plan for the whole day. Airport parking reservation needs to be changed, car rental, hotel accommodations, meetings, tickets to places, etc. They all need to be changed. Do not use Frontier! Flying with Frontier Airlines was the absolute worst experience I have ever had flying. Please heed my warning and dont fly with them!! They are very un accommodating, they could care less if your flight is canceled and will not assist with getting a hotel. My wheelchair bound mom and I were stranded at New Orleans Airport when they canceled our flight and we had to wait 2 days for another flight to get back home. Family members did pick us up but we were stranded for about 4 hours at the airport until they came. No one smiles and they nickle and dime you for everything. You have to pay $65 or $69 to fly with a carryon bag and they are rude. Please, please please do not fly Frontier!! I'm guessing they stay in business because some people truly cant afford to fly other airlines. To the owners and executive management of Frontier Airlines, customer service used to be more important than money. I am a retired veteran police officer, with 30 yrs service, excellent credit and own my $500,000 plus home out right. Stay away from frontier airlines. Its a small airline and they boast cheap airfares, which is a lie. You get cheap airfares but then you have to buy seats, pay for all bags even carry on. They let you bring 1 personal item as long as it's not more than 14x13x9 inches. Then you have to pay extra if you want an agent to reserve seats or baggage. So I paid $431 without the seats which would have been another $112 I was going to buy baggage but decided to cancel and they charged me $396 to cancel, so I called them and said cancel the cancellation I will fly but they said no! I had a terrible experience with Frontier recently. They caused me to miss my layover flight because of their lack of urgency and care for my connecting flight which was another frontier flight. The flight was delayed over 5 times and when we arrived at the airport it took 45 minutes to deboard because they pulled up to the wrong tunnel. They refused to give me a refund and said the best they could do was give me a flight the following night over 24 hours later. This caused me and my wife to miss work. I explained this to a supervisor at frontier and they refused to compensate me in any way more than a flight over 24 hours later. I find it ridiculous that a billion dollar corporation cannot treat their customers more fairly. This airline is officially worse than Spirit. Will not fly with Frontier ever again!! read more

I traveled fron New York to Atlanta Georgia and back. The flight going. I was shocked at the interior of the plane. I hadn't flown since 1988 and back then the airlines made you feel comfortable, Not Frontier. I felt like I was in a converted school bus. The backs of the seats were metal and the tray table couldn't have been more than 2"×6". My return flight the plane was nicer. My suitcase once I retrieved it from baggage claim in NY was damaged. There is a rip on the back as well as a zipper pull missing. I had a car booster seat for my grandchild and 1 of the arm rest covers is missing. I wouldn't recommend fly Frontier. If I ever go down to Georgia again I'll drive. read more

I needed a flight and found one on Kayak so came over to book on your website only to find nearly a dozen hoops- all looking to charge me for the most basic of flight expectations. No seat to pick without getting up-charged, not one. Can't even bring a backpack without paying more than half the cost of the ticket and so many more useless and time consuming cost traps that have turned me off from flying altogether and will now not only drive but likely never use your airline ever again if I can help it. By far the worse airline I've used. They ripped me off twice for flights they cancelled or modified. They charged me $158 for cancellation fees. They were supposed to give me two $100 vouchers which I have the email for and they ended up sending 2 $50 vouchers instead.
