    I flew United airlines from Newark NJ to Sint Maarten. The boarding process was quick and easy. I had a different experience before boarding the plane- my face was scanned to be checked in and my seat # popped up on the screen. When I arrived to my seat I received a welcome pop-up on the screen in front of my seat with my name. That was a nice touch. I received complimentary pretzels and tea on the flight.

    My experience is with first class only and it's always a great experience. Attendants are attentive. We usually fly a breakfast flight. Food was decent and you can order what you want prior to the flight. We always fly from EWR.

    Flying United Airlines back to Los Angeles from Newark Airport which is in New Jersey. United Airlines had an issue with our airplane which delayed us by an hour. While we were boarding they needed to have some people come in to fix the bathroom stall. Overall anything can happen on a flight when getting on board and off. Patience is always great to have and actually, the staff members on the plane were super nice and fun. Things happen and sometimes you should allocate more time if you are doing a connecting flight. But thankfully I was just going back home!

    Sunday night was the worst experience I've had with United Airlines in the nearly 50 years of flying the carrier.  We were returning home in San Diego from Newark NJ via LAX.  The aircraft for UA2035 was at the EWR gate for 2 1/2 hours before our scheduled departure, but we were over an hour late taking off.  Why?  Because there were not enough flight attendants for our flight ... and we had to wait to board until United could get staff from another flight.  No way were we going to make our connection to San Diego, which was the last LAX-SAN flight that day.  Fortunately, I use the United app and was able to rebook enroute for the next morning.  But we had to find our own accommodations for the night and arrange our own transportation from/to LAX.  And NO compensation from United for the expenses we incurred because United at EWR couldn't properly staff a waiting aircraft for an on-time departure.

    I recent flew United roundtrip from SFO (San Francisco, CA) to EWR (Newark, NJ). I typically don't take United for longer domestic flights, but a friend was trying to use up an expiring flight credit and I had points, so we decided to fly together. The first leg was a redeye. We departed SFO at 11:45pm PST Tuesday, January 9th, 2024 and were scheduled to land 8:02am EST on Wednesday, January 10th. We landed a touch early at around 7:40am. We splurged a bit on Premier Plus seats. The seats have a leg rest was is nice. And obviously they are roomier. They served us a meal which I wasn't expecting, so I got the chicken and I think my friend got ravioli? We like sharing so it was whatever the other meal was. Drinks were included, so I got some liquor and wine. I didn't really sleep much, but the flight was fine. Other than the meal and leg rest, if you sit on the two seats closest to the window, this was comparable to the first on some domestic airlines. Our return flight departed EWR on Saturday, January 13th at 6pm EST and was scheduled to land at 9:23pm PST. I believe we landed a little early again. We originally booked Premium Plus seats (luckily this flight was much cheaper than the one there), but decided to upgraded with points to Business since they have lay flats, so I was able to sleep. It's basically United Polaris, but they don't call it that for domestic routes, so you can only use the regular United Club. I pre-ordered the chicken and my friend the burger, but he ended up with the ravioli since United never got the burger from their catering company. The food is definitely better in business as it was more flavorful and the chicken less dry. Drink offerings were the same. Tho they give you an amenity kit and a glass of champagne before takeoff. I've never been a huge fan of United, but the Business lay flats on the way back changed my mind. Not as good as Polaris for international, but worth the price to me for flights 5+ hours. If I find a deal on Premium Plus and can upgrade with points, I'd book this again in a heartbeat. 5 STARS for service 3 STARS for value = 4 STARS overall

    Flying short domestic flight and United has screens with movies. So cool. AA doesn't have this. So glad I've moved to UA as my preferred carrier. Will see what great stuff they do in the future to bump up to 5 stars.

It was my first time flying out of Newark Liberty, and I booked the late night nonstop flight departing around 9:00 PM because I needed to get to Orlando for race day packet pickup for the RunDisney Springtime Surprise 2026 race. It worked out perfectly, but I did get to the hotel around 1:30 A.M though! There were a lot of open seats available on the flight! Having some extra space on a late night trip made the journey much more comfortable and relaxed! Boarding was smooth and fast! The service was also fantastic. The flight attendants were friendly, and attentive throughout the flight, even though it was a later departure! The flight itself was smooth, and before I knew it, I was arriving in Orlando Florida! This was an excellent JetBlue experience. Comfortable flight, plenty of open seats, great service, and the convenience of a nonstop route from Newark to Orlando. I would definitely book this route again in the future and look for potential flights into EWR from Las Vegas!

On January 18th, my family of four (including two children) was left stranded at the airport for over four hours with zero communication, zero transparency, and ultimately, zero way home. ​After a massive delay, JetBlue dropped us at a different airport than our ticketed destination. Instead of providing the ground transportation or the assistance required, they essentially abandoned us. We were forced to pay for our own Uber just to get home after being ignored by staff for hours. ​To make matters worse, their "customer service" is a ghost town. I waited on hold for an eternity, requested a callback, and when they finally called--they hung up on me. ​They have lost a loyal family of customers. Only 4 bathrooms for such a huge plane is definitely not good... they said they would clean them throughout the flight, but every time I used it, it was a mess... disappointing for sure. Line already started and the Delta employees show up 415 am.... Unless it has changed I thought show time was 3 hours for international and 2 hour for domestic flights. We showed up early since the gov shutdown and issues with the air traffic controllers... so does that mean the check-in section can be even more lazy and who's up when they want? Please let me know if I am wrong about the show times for international and domestic flights.

What really bothered me was seeing a Spanish-speaking passenger struggle because he didn't speak much English, and the staff showed little patience or professionalism. It honestly came across as dismissive and discriminatory instead of helpful. To make matters worse, the flight attendants were not pleasant either and carried attitude throughout the flight. I'm currently connecting in Dallas and hoping the next flight experience is completely different because so far this has been unacceptable customer service. Do better, American Airlines. Side note I wish I could give zero stars.

Looking at airport options in the NYC area, there was JFK, LaGuardia, and EWR. I've never flown out of EWR before, and saw that it had the latest flight leaving NYC at 9:00 P.M EST. This was helpful since I had to leave the office at around 5:30, and needed time to get out of the Financial District in NYC on a Wednesday evening. I booked a nonstop on JetBlue out of Newark, and thankfully the whole airport experience ended up being pretty smooth. The airport itself was much nicer than I expected, especially for such a busy New York area airport. The terminal felt modern, clean, and fairly easy to navigate in the terminal that I was at for the Jetblue flight. There were plenty of food options, seating areas, and charging spots! Flying out of Jetblue from EWR was wonderful. Getting to the terminal and gate wasn't too difficult. The boarding was well organized and there was plenty of open seats on the plane at that flight time. It also arrived a few minutes early into Orlando! Newark Liberty was a good airport experience for a first visit. I only tried [2] different food options though before boarding my flight. It was a quick experience, but I would consider flying out of EWR again for another nonstop flight.

I even asked an employee for directions and they walked me to my destination . I have been to many airports and this was clean modern well organized . I look forward to pass through again .
