I have really sensitive skin and have used countless products throughout the years and it's been super difficult to find anything compatible with my skin. Her oh so light moisturizer has been the only moisturizer I could use on my skin with no reaction and the charcoal cleanser is gentle/exfoliating yet gives you a bit of a glow. Her gentle cleanser (pink label) is gentle for the kiddos to use without stripping or adding questionable oils that may break you out. Over the years I would come by and no one was there during listed hours. I would call and would always get a call back every time and encouraged to order online. I reckon due to personal/pandemic changes. Tbh I was a little irritated and it was inconvenient making the drive there for not it to be open. I booked it, then emailed her to verify that she would be able to see me on a holiday. Unfortunately, she never responded to my email. I saw other reviews that mentioned her lack of communicating, as well. (I have never had issues receiving emails to this account, and checked my spam/junk folder.) Less than two weeks before my appointment, and after I had taken time off from work (I had to take off the weekend too, which pays more), she texted me with: "I thought I would be able to work that day but my circumstances have recently changed." That doesn't sound like an emergency. Turns out it was not, and that family "unexpectedly" showed up for Thanksgiving. So keep in mind that if her family unexpectedly shows up, or anything that she deems *more* important than your appointment, that you will be cancelled. This is taking little to no consideration that you, as the client, have already taken off several work days well in advance. Or, that you have to book time off months in advance. So, regardless if she believes 2 weeks is enough notice or not, jobs do not normally allow you to just pick those work days back up. Turns out this has happened with other clients, too. Super unprofessional. I re-booked and when I got there, she had me fill out an Intake Form, which was a waste of time since I had already asked if there was paperwork I needed to fill out before her appointment. So, I spent time doing that when my appointment was supposed to start, then she has to review the paperwork. She said this was "just how she does it," but it's not an efficient use of either of our time. Once, that was done she said she couldn't do the treatment due to having facial breakouts. She said she sent me pre-care instructions, but I never received anything. This was another waste of time since I had, once again, taken time off of work for this. Overall, her communication and professionalism were lacking, and she came off as new, which maybe she is. I recommend looking elsewhere.

I was interested in moving forward and started setting up a consultation. While I was making the consultation, a separate email came a couple days later, also from Debra, responding to my inquiry with a completely different price (almost 50% more expensive!). I tried to clarify that I would be willing to pay the first price, but not the second one, and asked if that was ok. This is when things got weird - when I brought up the two separate quotes, instead of apologizing Debra got defensive and refused to answer which price she would actually charge. She said I would just have to wait and see about the price until I came in for the consultation. Her responses seemed very rude and condescending to me. For example, when I asked why the price changed she responded "Our promotions change from month to month and quotes can be valid for two weeks". Since it was still less than a week since I was sent the first price, I tried asking whether the first price would still be valid if I came and paid for it within two weeks. But she refused to answer - I asked directly "could the price be different depending on whether I come in before the 2 week period?" and "is there still a possibility of getting the first price if the consultation goes well, or are you only offering the second price now?" She flat out refused to answer these questions and just said I would need to come in to find out (without any clarity on whether I should come in within the two weeks.) As someone with a busy schedule, I don't want to come in for an appointment if she is no longer considering the originally quoted price. Why waste everyone's time? Obviously things can change during the consult, but no other medispa has ever had an issue discussing their specials and base prices with me. I found this entire exchange super frustrating and I don't understand Debra's motivations unless she is trying to pressure me into paying more than I'm willing to, or just intentionally being rude and defensive about her mistake of sending two separate prices. I feel that she has wasted my time by telling me different things and making this simple discussion needlessly complicated. I can't imagine what she would be like to deal with if an actual issue came up! NuMe has offered the same service at the lower price quoted from Debra, so I will be going there. It was very easy to discuss this same information with them. It's a shame about Debra's poor customer service because I was looking forward to trying this place.
