Waist of time and money. 2 hours for a 12 dollar 1/4 pound burger. Worst service/dining experience i can remember. Didnt get greater almost thirty minutes before order were taken. 30 + minutes of waiting just to find out our server had lost our order. Another 20+ minutes and a manager informs us they haven't got to our ticket and she might be able to see if she can get it moved up in front of other tickets. Terrible service, they forgot our drinks and finally brought them after 15-20 minutes, then they forgot our order and asked if we were in a hurry because they clearly forgot to even enter our order?!... when we finally said we had to leave & just paid for our drinks, they blamed it on training, when it was the "trainer" who took our order. Delicious homemade icy root beer didn't disappoint. We only had drinks so I can't comment on the food. The root beer freezes were the perfect ratio of root beer to ice cream. A must stop if you pass through here!! We were driving from Bozeman to Jackson and saw the other great reviews on Yelp and decided to try it out. I see why this place has 5 stars from multiple people! The staff was very hospitable, greeting us before we got out of the car(it is a drive-in but you can eat inside as well). The same young lady did it all:greeted us, took our order, made our delicious food,served us, cleaned up, and took our payment! She filled up our drinks for our trip, also! The food was excellent! I got a Western BBQ burger and it came with a drink and fries. I would recommend sharing if you aren't that hungry because the portions are pretty large. In addition, they had homemade Ranch and they served Mellow Yellow! We also loved the root beer and would highly recommend if you like root beer! The bathroom was around the back but it was very clean! Overall this place was very much worth the stop on our journey and I hope you do the same!! read more

The food was okay. Soda was flat. We ordered two cheeseburgers and when we received our burgers they had the incorrect toppings. They were kind to fix it but then proceeded to take the unwanted toppings off with their bare hands (I could see the cook back in the kitchen) and then returned the burgers to us. I could also see that the cook was not wearing gloves or a mask while preparing our food. We did finally receive what we ordered. read more

This is a cute little place. Good food- I highly recommend the cheese curds and vanilla rootbeer. However, the service was borderline nonexistent. We were the only people inside, and it took 15 minutes for an employee to approach us. After ordering, it took another 10 minutes just to get our drinks. My burger was cold when we got our food. All the employees were teenage girls that were screaming along with the songs they played. It was so loud I couldn't hear my fiancé right in front of me. They're singing and talking were high pitched and shrill, plus even louder laughing. It was hard to enjoy our experience with cold food and employees so loud we couldn't even have a conversation. So, again, good food, but terrible service. I doubt we'll be returning, and if we do, we'll definitely be sitting outside. read more

On my way to WA from AZ, we stopped here for lunch last minute and it was the cutest little burger shop with very friendly service. I got the cheeseburger basket, my husband got the frosttop burger basket and my dad got the grilled cheese basket and we were all very very happy and full! Sweet little drive-in/diner that's been open since 1965. I don't drink soda anymore, but I'd been feeling a cold root beer for a few days while on the road, and we came across this place with a big, rotating root beer mug statue and took it as a sign to try this out haha.. Delicious root beer! The mug wasn't really frosted, but no worries. We only got that and then my partner had an ice cream cone, so I can't really say how the food is, but it's sweet energy and space. read more

Have not tryed the food here yet! Did try a root beer float it was super good! The place seemed really cramped and could use some serious updating/ remodeling looks like something out of the 70s!! The young ladies that work there are very cute and very nice. They didn't seem to have down a very good system for getting orders out it seemed a bit too chaotic and too many on staff for as small of an area they were working in. Seems like a popular place though they need better parking. Parking lot seemed a bit small as well out side of building seems run down. read more

This breaks my heart. I have loved the Frostop since I was a kid. Today my husband and I stopped to try to get lunch for our anniversary. We pulled into the drive-in area and waited for someone to come to take our order. I will say, it was quite busy, so we understood it would take some time which was fine. However, after 10 minutes no one even acknowledged that we were there. Some people pulled in after us and sat at a table. Someone came and got their order within 5 minutes. Still no acknowledgment that we were there. so then maybe we thought we should go in to order. Just as we were about to go in, a man pulled in next to us and got out of his truck. He asked one of the girls if he should order in his truck or go in. she said they'd send someone out. Okay, we decided they'd send someone to get our order shortly. Another 5 minutes without a glance from the staff or even a "hey, we're really busy but we're coming!". We ended up leaving after almost 30 minutes of sitting without any communication from the staff and without ever placing an order. It is one thing to be busy, it's another to ignore your customers.
