Yuk is my review! Dry burger Cold Fries Temperature very hot inside of building so I felt like a burger myself.. But I taste amazing just ask my date. No need to expand on the burger experience except to say THE BUGER SUCKED !

Fried pickles and pretzel sticks yummy!

TR stands for Teddy Roosevelt. It was decorated with a Teddy Roosevelt theme and the menu was adventurous. The menu was wide ranging with many salad choices, different kinds of burgers and lovely local beer. We shared the pretzel sticks with beer cheese sauce and fried pickles and both were terrific! I had a salad that upon my request, was served with a bison burger. It was cooked perfectly. Also- I recommend the lime vinaigrette. I ordered the Huckleberry Hefesweizen. Huckleberry is a local fruit-- I have fallen in love with all things Huckleberry while visiting Yellowstone. The great thing about this beer was that the Huckleberry was nuanced and it didn't try to hit you on the head with a sweet flavor. I would buy this beer if they had it in Nebraska. The service was spot on and friendly. I highly recommend you eat at TR's, you will be glad you did!

On the list of the best burgers we've ever had. Everything is fresh and delicious. From the gourmet burgers to the onion rings TR's has amazing food. You can't go wrong with ordering anything on the menu. They are consistently delicious. The staff is welcoming and efficient.

Really great burgers! We split one and it was plenty for the two of us. The stand out was the fries and the fried pickles, both were excellent. Really enjoyed everything about TRs, even the history lesson!

    Branded burger.

Great burger place themed after one of the best presidents. Great service and lots of Teddy Roosevelt themed memorabilia in the restaurant. A TV plays different trivia about Roosevelt. I learned some things I didn't know eating here. Great variety of burgers themed after different parts of President Roosevelt's life. They have bison burger patties if you want to try that. Hotdogs as well. Only thing was the appetizer onion rings we got were really small compared to the price but the huge juicy burgers more than made up for it.

    A great respite.

What a great burger spot in West Yellowstone! The restaurant is named after Teddy Roosevelt and is warm and inviting. The staff is all local as you can't get here if you're not due to its remote location just outside of Yellowstone National Park. The American burger I ordered was perfectly cooked - tasty with cheddar cheese, bacon, and bully sauce - a this spicy mayo/ketchup that is delicious. The brioche bun has Teddy branded on the too, and is fries are with skin on. Yummy all around. They were offering a donut bun for Mother's Day. The whole time they gave a screen with Present Roosevelt's information scrolling which is simply amazing what he accomplished in life. Make this a stop for some great food and Americana while celebrating this beautiful country of ours in West Yellowstone National Park.

Cute Teddy Roosevelt themed burger joint. It offers indoor and outdoor seating. The service was quick and friendly and the burgers were good. Con: There were many gnats flying around on the food and drinks, which made enjoying the meal less satisfying.

Halfway into the frontier sheriff with fries

Food quality is easily 5/5, but the prices push my overall rating to 4/5. We ordered one American Burger and one Frontier Sheriff, upgrading the latter to bison for an extra $5.50. Both were a generous size, and the side fries were excellent. I'd skip the salad unless you're really craving greens. We enjoyed both burgers. They didn't ask for a preferred doneness on the patties, but they were cooked very well regardless. The bison patty was especially impressive--juicy and not dry at all. My Frontier Sheriff came drenched in beer cheese sauce (a win for any cheese lover), which made it harder to judge the patty on its own, but the sauce itself was delicious. The only real miss was the beer-battered onion ring, which was almost nonexistent. The American Burger was simple, classic, and very satisfying. I also liked the buns; they felt somewhere between brioche and white bread, soft but sturdy enough to complement the enormous patties. Service was pleasant and friendly. Yes, it's a bit pricey, but for a tourist spot, the quality and portion size make it worthwhile.

I wouldn't say anything in particular puts this place over the top. The burger was good, and big. Fries were the 'hand cut' style which usually leads to some of the fries under cooked. My daughter had the kids Mac and cheese and said it was good. She was a bit nervous at first but relieved in the end. For the price, I don't know if I would come here again but that's what you get in a town outside a national park. Everything was as I expected from previous reviews. The decor was all TR, which you would expect from the name.

Stopped in for lunch; sat outside to enjoy the hustle and bustle of West Yellowstone. Never made it inside; so can't comment on the actual place/cleanliness. But, the food was great! My wife and I had some of their signature burgers with fries. Will definitely be back to try some of their other burgers (one has peanut butter and jelly - I'm intrigued)...

    Salad (they forgot the chicken)

Vibes were a 10/10, food was pretty solid, the servers were really nice, but service was REALLY slow. A family of four sitting next to us waited 50 minutes just for fries and another 15 minutes to get their burgers. We came in with a larger party (11) so it's understandable that our food took longer but we still waited 40 minutes for salads to come out and another 20 for the burgers to come. When the salads came they were missing the chicken and they had no crispy jalapeño like the menu advertised. Half of our fries were room temperature and half were piping hot. I think people who got the burgers were very satisfied, but everything just took a long time. They were clearly short staffed that day but they didn't warn us when we came in that service would be slow, or check in with us after we were seated to explain their situation. I'm still giving 4 stars since I think this was just an off day, I'd still recommend this place and come back next time *menu has changed from the ones shown in other posts*

Solid burger spot in Yellowstone. Definitely overpriced but you can def share the burger. It's big and quite heavy. I like the rancher and onion rings but $13 for a small basket was not worth it.

One of few venues that would take reservations of this size group. They have a good amount of indoor seating. We sat on the umbrellaed patio, near the musician, just around the corner of the bar from games like cornhole. They were busy, but service was attentive. Many of us had craft beers and cocktails. Everyone was pleased, but i could not list all the beverages for you. We had at least one yummy fresh arugula salad with sirloin cooked-to-order and a lot of flavorful bacon, blue cheese crumbles, green onion, tomatoes, balsamic glaze, and thick "Texas" toast. We shared a number of the many appetizers: Crispy-coated sweet-chili Thai Shrimp were rather small but quite tasty. The tray of nachos was a glorious mess of beans, sauces and crema, mixed melty cheeses, olives, and meat ... i think we got the rich ground "buffalo". The "buffalo balls" were even messier: meatballs in deep gravy over mashed potatoes smothered in sautéed onions and mushrooms. We had "chicken "bites" with two of their yummy flavorings. The soft pretzels and cheese were long thick almost-loaves. And i completely lost track of the mains: several of their loaded burgers and overloaded tacos. The star was the 12oz medium-rare ribeye, topped with herb butter & demi glacé, loaded garlic redskin mashed potatoes, & thick garlic toast. This was a great immersion in great food, drink, ant atmosphere. The $44 ribeye was one of the top-two steaks we had during our trip. (July 2026). Pro tip: every steak is town was good, even the bargains you can find with a little hunting. But be sure to pay a little more once or twice to get the best.

The photos looked amazing, so after we checked in, we drove a few blocks to the place. Parking is limited but we luckily scored a spot. Atmosphere is very cool, bar/restaurant like with sports playing on large TVs throughout. It was kind of warm in there...not sure if they had a working A/C or if it just couldn't keep up with the bodies inside. There was a wait to be seated but not too bad. Maybe 15 mins and the place was packed. We were seated at a bar-like table between the actual bar seating and tables. The waitress was nice and had personality but was a bit stressed out and a little testy after we asked about our food 30+ mins after ordering it. Even the drinks took a long time to be served. I finally gave up and ran to the restroom...of course the food came as soon as I left. It works that way a lot for me. lol The drinks were good - the food was pretty good. Prices are expensive here, but pretty much on par with the rest of the restaurants in town. It's a tourist town in high season and they all know it. We determined not to come back for the next day's meals based on the slow speed of service and try different places in town instead.

After a particularly warm day of hiking, my husband and I resolved to try OTC -- especially since signs read that it was established in 2023. Keeping restaurants open is very hard work. I was interested in trying a buffalo burger while my husband looked forward to more trout. Since this is a family-friendly restaurant, perhaps the entry should be rethought. The door directly opens to the bar, which has high tables where families can be seated. (Here, we chose seats so we could watch the World Cup match.) There's another room with more conventional, lower tables. I asked for sliced jalapenos to be added the buffalo burger with cheddar, lettuce, sliced tomato, diced raw red onion on a toasted bun. Diners can specify to what extent the buffalo is cooked: medium or med rare are recommended. Substitute side fries for a side salad (romaine lettuce, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, shredded cheese & crutons) for a nominal fee. * Ask your server to hold the cheese on the salad if you don't prefer it. Very friendly bartender and wait staff. We appreciated the periodic check-in throughout our meal.

We got here about 8pm, and there were plenty of tables available on both levels. On the first floor, we ordered and paid for our brews at the bar along the right wall, and carried them to our table. We then ordered food on the first floor, at the counter at the back on the left. They gave us a number to display on our table, and later they brought our food to us. We sat upstairs near the games, with a balcony overlooking the bar. We liked the Kettlehouse Snowblind "white stout", which had a rich creamy coffee chocolate-stout flavor and a dark amber, not chocolatey, color. The Bridger Raspberry Kalamansi "kettle sour" was tart and not too sweet, not too much raspberry. Katabatic made a crisp fresh American IPA. Pool tables and games were available most of the time, with everyone giving other tables a turn. The pool tables were in great condition: flat, level, unworn. Among the best we found in town. The tables were mostly adults. The kids played with some toys. Everyone played some cornhole. Some of us shopped the merch area on the first floor near the door. The fried okra app was tender and lightly breaded, and we got the regular ranch dipping sauce instead of the chipotle version. The Spicy Elk Chili was made with red beans and mixed vegetables. The sides of cheddar, white onions, and sour cream were kind of small, but we didn't request more. The cornbread was nicely crumbly, not cake-y, with good not-too-sweet corn flavor. The Seared Ahi Tuna Salad was loaded with a huge tender sweet sesame-crusted tuna steak over a generous heap of fresh mixed greens, red onions, and half grape-tomatoes, zinged-up with a sprinkling of wasabi peas, brightened with slightly-sweet huckleberry mojo dressing. The Fried Catfish Po-Boy had a good-size thick slab of tender sweet fish in a thin crunchy crust, tomatoes, and a little house-made remoulade, on a fresh soft hoagie bun, with a side of lightly-creamy slaw. Food was hot, generous, flavorful, and moderately priced. Beer was quick and cold. We had a very good time, with some minor complaints that lost them one star. Food came up a little at a time. Somehow it got separated into two orders. We shared everything, but the pickier hungry kids had to wait a little. And it was noticeable that there were a lot of kids upstairs by the games. I got hit and slightly startled by a soft cornhole bag! If we were here without our kids, we might sit on the first floor. Or better, bring enough friends to take over the seats near the pool tables.
