    French Fries

I mean seriously? Why do my fries look like this, they taste horrible. You bagged them knowing that you shouldn't be serving them, no mistake there.

I was in new pal for work, and had to stop in at frosty boy, love them, it's quick friendly service with a decent amount of options, I was in an ice cream mood, so I got the flavor of the week, lemon, and it was a lemon whip! So tasty and perfect in the warm weather! Check them out if you can.

WOW! These guys were lightning fast. I was in no hurry but they were fast at getting the food out. I went through the drive-thru. There is no speaker you place your order with a human. I was looking for a pork barbecue sandwich and onion rings and of course ice cream. They have onion chips on the menu but sadly they were out of them. So I got the crinkle-cut fries instead along with my pork barbecue sandwich and a marshmallow shake. After they take your order you park in front of the restaurant and they call your number out when it is time for you to come up to the window to pick it up. They were very quick in getting the food out and it was nice and hot! Hopefully next time I go they will have the onion chips. I will stop here again to try something else on the menu next time.

It should be illegal to spend a Friday lunch like I did today at Frosty Boy in New Palestine - dipping onion chips in catsup and cooling down with some strawberry whip! #Getlostindiana You just don't #find places like this much anymore...

My boyfriend used to come here as a kid so he insisted we stopped :) The service was very friendly from my experience! Our food took about 10 mins after we ordered, they did make our drinks before our food so our slushie were a little melted but no biggie! I got a bacon cheeseburger with a small fry and a small salted caramel malt. Food was good to me very fresh, a good place to stop for a quick bite.

I have lived in New Pal almost my whole life. And it's an annual tradition to stop at least once a season to get food or even just get an ice cream. I don't live in New Pal anymore, but my parents still do so I still try and stop once a year. I didn't get ice cream or a flurry this time but did grab some grub. It's still so good and how I remember it growing up. I just ordered a plain cheeseburger with a small fry and a medium coke and a side of cheese sauce. My ice cream go to is usually a vanilla cone with crunch or a cookie dough flurry. Wish I would have gotten one of those to end my meal but alas. Anyway definitely delicious and definitely recommend for anyone going through town or stopping by to see visit people.

Amazing ice cream, atmosphere, but I wish they would do something to speed up drive thru service as I would go more often if they would.

Great food and always made to order which means its always hot! Soft serve is the best, heavier and more creamy then any other place.

The service has always been very good and attentive. The food is pretty decent. The margarita I had last time was excellent. The enormous tv in the main dining room is imposing and detracts a bit if you're trying to have a decent conversation but if you're trying to watch sports then it's ok. The bar off to the left side usually has very good bartenders in my experience. Anyway, I need to go back soon though because it's been a minute.

I opted for a standard margarita, which arrived in a stylish cup adorned with smoke. I wish I had taken a picture of it. The margarita wasn't overly artificial or sweet, and it had a decent strength. However, I was disappointed with my carnitas for dinner. The portion of meat was significantly smaller than what I had expected, which is unusual for a Mexican restaurant. I usually have enough to take home my entire meal. The rice and bean portion was also quite small. Apart from the portions, I wasn't particularly impressed with the flavor of the carnitas meat. Usually it's more tender and juicy but my son couldn't chew it. I'll definitely return to enjoy another delicious margarita, but I'll order something else to accompany it.

So, I stopped in to this Cumberland location of Dairy Queen Grill & Chill. This is an odd location with a few closed businesses and a vacant church across the street. However, i've always had a certain fondness for this DQ location despite the fact it's seen its better days. The parking lot has a handful of potholes - including one right as you turn in that will be a bit jarring if you don't see it. I do believe this is actually in Cumberland - so, technically, no Indy pothole jokes here. This location has both dine-in and drive-thru options. I hit the drive-thru, but then stuck around to actually eat my lunch. I snagged a $7 meal deal that included 3 chicken tenders, a small fries, a sundae, and a regular drink. You can upgrade to a small blizzard for $2 more. There aren't too many places you can eat for under a ten spot anymore - that's a definite plus. The service was solid. It wasn't anything remarkable, but the employee was friendly and timely. The food was solid. I always think it's weird to call a small dish of ice cream with a topping a "sundae," but I get the point and it is what I was craving. So, it was fine. I didn't see iced tea on the menu, a bit disappointing. Three Cumberland police officers were present. Business was steady throughout my visit. While this is Cumberland, it's really right on the line. I think right across the street is actually Indy. They do have accessible parking. Most DQ locations do accessibility fairly well. There's an outside dining option here, though it really wasn't warm enough today. I'm surprised I'd never reviewed this place. While I won't say I get here often, I often do stop in when I'm in the area. Overall, things were what I'd call "just fine." I'll definitely return - not because it's 5-star dining, but because it's a comfort spot with decent food at good prices and ice cream I get nostalgic for once in a while.

I don't exactly seem like their target audience and ideal customer. But, oh, how you would be wrong! Yes, when I find myself in a cute boutique, I'm usually the only guy to be seen (unless you count those hapless husbands who were dragged there just so his wife could "pop in and see and what they have") But fellas, listen up! Boutiques are your secret weapon. They do all the heavy lifting for you and instead of looking through a million stores to find that one perfect gift, go to the one store that has a million (well, almost) perfect gifts. When you find yourself asking: "Where can I find a great gift?" Let me introduce you to the boutique! Sometimes you can enter a store like this and have no idea what you are looking for and simply be inspired by the numerous gift ideas. On this particular day, I had a pretty good idea of what I was looking for, but alas, I couldn't find what I had in my head. No worries! Therein lies the power of the well-curated boutique. I quickly found a wonderful gift that may have even been a better fit than my initial idea. And it didn't stop there! I found other cute gifts to accompany my primary gift. Redefined Hope Boutique is a special place. Unlike any other boutique I've visited, Redefined Hope has a mission. This boutique supports the Hope Center, which is a local ministry on the front lines of fighting human trafficking. Do you need a better reason to visit? I'll be honest, I've been in and around "church world" for several decades, and when I usually see coffee shops or bookstores or other storefronts attached to churches, the can be a little less quality. It can be tough running a successful business with primarily volunteers. But Redefined Hope is simply a wonderful boutique standing eye to eye with any specialty shop, and I'd say they are even nicer than most I've visited. Redefined Hope is a beautiful shop with quality goods placed thoughtfully on tables and shelves around the store. You are sure to find the perfect gift (or gifts!) for that special someone. I know I did. From clothing to jewelry to books to travel mugs to plants, you won't be disappointed in the selection. They also have a coffee shop in-house, and all of the staff is so helpful. One of the coolest things they had on this St. Valentine's Day was a "Bloom Box" (I think that is what they called it). It was several bins filled with gorgeous wildflowers and you could hand-select the flowers of your choice. They also had a table with butcher paper, twine, shears and tape so you could wrap your bouquet with thoughtfulness and love. I had so much fun picking wildflowers and accompanying greenery to craft the perfect bouquet. I highly encourage you to pop-in to the Redefined Hope Boutique and see what they are about, learn about the Hope Center and have fun browsing their well-curated selection of beautiful wares. I look forward to going back when I'm looking for that next perfect gift for a very special person.

I typically only come in during the holidays because they have such unique items that are not available anywhere else. I tend to find some kind of special item for my daughter's December birthday. I especially love the cute bags they use for your purchase. I decided to get a latte today and sit and enjoy the little space they have ... bonus points for not having a room full of people using their space for office work or it looking like the coffee shop we tried yesterday. Very nice ambiance and the sunlight makes that room so warm and cozy. A nice array of books to just look through. I enjoyed it very much! Maria made my latte, she was very sweet. I even was able to try the graham cracker ice cream which was delicious! Definitely going back for that! I purchased a couple little trinkets, and looked at all the different items. And that's probably due to the fact that it isn't really fast food. They make your food fresh to order. (Do we have a category for this type of place, yet? Fresh and fast food?) So, Culver's and McDonald's don't really belong in the same category, in my opinion. Butter burgers are made fresh to order, and I really enjoy their cod sandwich. The cheese curds are addictive and the root beer is top notch. I love their zero calorie diet root beer. Delicious! The staff is always very kind and helpful. Really, it seems like a great company. I wouldn't mind my son working there, and that's a huge compliment from me. On the other hand, Culver's just doesn't do it for me. There's no "it" factor. For the type of place it is, I would compare Culver's to Steak n Shake back in the day (when it was also 4 stars vs the 2 stars it is today). Back then, Steak n Shake was happenin'! It was the place to be so many times! Going late at night to get a fresh steak burger and a malt shake hanging with friends. LFG! That's want I want from Culver's... old school Steak n Shake for guys in their 40's. Alas, it may never be. I never get excited about Culver's. I know people who do. But for me, it's just an option that's better than other options. I give 4 stars, though, because that's 100% on me. The place really does all they can to make sure you have a great evening. It's just hard to drop $50-$65 to feed your family fast food. Really NICE fast food. But fast food, nonetheless. I hope you fall in love with Culver's. I really do. I hope in 20 years, you have the same nostalgia I have for the Steak n Shake that was from a whole 'nother, special world called the 90's. For now, I guess I'll just take out a small loan and go to Culver's for the kids. But I will say that diet root beer is the bomb!
