The quality of customer service has significantly went downhill. The woman with the glasses is SO rude. I have ordered the same simple order for the last few months a double cheeseburger. The last 4-5 time repeats the order to me just to give me a single patty. Every time I have given them another chance, the same mistake. When I have approached the window to let them know my order is wrong she is argumentative and defensive. I will not be returning, I have given them several chances to redeem themselves and without fail each time my orders wrong. read more

I have loved this place since I was a child. The food is wonderful! They changed the chicken strips a while back and now they seem to be extra large nuggets. Place horrible to what it was before. Got a banana split, the employee hands it to me dripping on her hands and mine. It gets all over me I asked for a box so it'll stop spilling over the tiny plastic they give it in. She says I can't get a box but I can have another plastic container. And gave me one napkin. Frosty king is fast food. If you remember that your experience will be better. They are not a 5 star sit down restaurant serving steak. Many of the menu items they have are still delicious. I like their burgers, burritos, chicken nuggets and their french fries. I've been eating ice cream cones here since I was a kid and their restaurant was in a metal trailer. They have a nice covered area with picnic tables. It relaxing to sit and watch the cars go by as you eat. Service is good everytime I have come, you usually don't have to wait too long for your food. Their restaurant also provides discounted meal for students. It's nice to know they care about them. read more

A couple of months back I ordered a large order of fries. I asked them if I can get them hot they said no problem. So I waited. When I got home, I started eating them. They were hard dark brown they had been double fried some were inedible. But they were hot. I called them they offered to give me a new order next time and my money back I gave them the benefit of the doubt went back again a month later and once again cold fries . Stopped by again today and this will be the last time the burger was cold fries warm and very greasy as the video shows the pastrami sandwich was even greasier read more

This is our second time eating at Frosty King, and this location easily wins and out as our favorite of the two. On our way to Sequoia, we were looking for a quick place to stop and have a bit for a family of 6. Frosty King was a great choice. In fact, we came back on our way home. Between the two stops, we tried the fries, onion rings, pastrami sandwich, burger, burrito, hotdog, and nachos. The pastrami was fantastic. While we like the deli cut, rye bread classic, this is more of your grilled variety on sandwich rolls. Very tasty. The fries are seasoned well and the onion rings were super crisp. Only knock we had was the burger was slightly bland as was the nachos. But this is a minor complaint. The service was fantastic and friendly. And they Served snow cones, which is also the ice in the drinks. For those ice lovers out there, that alone is a worth the trip. read more

Frosty king in Exeter was cute. I say cute as in location wise. Exeter is a charming town and the restaurant was in a ideal spot. Right in the middle of I'd say downtown where there was a lot of antique stores and little boutiques to look at. It's outside dining only, they have benches with shade covering. It's American food your classics like burgers sandwiches ice creams and a small menu of "mexican " food. Came here for a day date like I said perfect spot to eat and pass time. We ordered the big ranch burger it was on like a hoagie bread my fav crinkle cut fries, ranch was on point. Not the Best I had better . I personally had the torta. A torta is a classic you really can't mess it up. But it wasn't mind blowing and honestly I didn't expect it to be from a place like this. But places can surprise you. There is a variety of different foods from hamburgers and fish to burritos and quesadillas. Their food is always fresh tasting and freshly made. I have never had a bad or spoiled meal while eating at this Frosty King. All the food is made each day freshly from scratch and kept stored properly until It is used. When you get familiar with the menu, you should order over the phone so it's ready when you get there. On week days, high school kids eat at Frosty King so it may be crowded. Frosty King is in Tulare County, the foothills of the Sierra Nevada. If you love big paintings, you'll love going by the buildings in the center of town. Someone told me it was noted as one of America's Prettiest Painted Places.... that person also likes alliteration, so maybe the recognition is officially different. This place is good, cheap, and slow (as you would expect in a very, very small town). A ginormous bacon cheeseburger was $2.25, and I should have had one of their shakes, but I went with the chocolate dipped soft-serve (which was a ridiculously cheap $1.55). read more

Was hungry for a pastrami sandwich on Friday so I took Alex's advice and came here for one. First time I've been here, sort of. Growing up here it was Whiteys Jolly Kone and I hung out here. But I've not eaten here for 40 years. So it's my first time. Damn good pastrami sandwich. The best I've ever had. Grilled buttered bun, pastrami grilled so there are little crispy edges, mustard and pickles. And hot as hell peppers on the side. The pastrami was lean and tender, perfectly cooked. Great fries.
